Seriously, guy has been by Garps side for the past 40 years, and that’s just as far back as we know, could’ve been way longer. He’s got to be some kinda powerhouse to be able to stand by Garps side with all the insane opponents he’s faced over the decades. I highly doubt he’s just some jobber with a sword.
Dude has more screentime in the live action than he has in both anime and manga combined. I wish we could get a god valley flashback with garp and boggard against roger and rayleigh or the rocks pirates.
The power gap between those two and Garp is bigger than any power gap luffy ever experienced in the show. They are at that point weaker than luffy in episode 1 and fight against someone who is at admiral level.
