They should definitely remove the shifting speed advantage of manual clutch. No car should shift faster with it. I don't like the other solution at all (leave the advantage and let everyone use manual clutch). Manual clutch is very awkward to use for gamepad users. In Forza it makes you faster as well and there people use it by putting the clutch button next to the shift buttons and then pressing multiple buttons at the same time with one finger. It's ridiculous. And in TC2 it would be even worse because here you also have to use nitrous. Most people can't use so many fingers at the same time when playing with pad. The manual clutch option should only be there for sim racers who want a realistic experience for cruising or something. It should not be required for competitive play in an arcade racing game. It should not give any competitive advantage in TC2. That's my opinion at least.
I can only speak for myself of course, but it is the same for me as well using a wheel. Thats why i use only automatic when it comes to racing, because i am faster with it. Using, manual shifting plus nitro is already too much for me (because i can't place the nitrobutton somewhere where it's comfortable and reachable the hole time) plus using a physical h-shifter is definitely slower when it comes to shifting, because you have to place the gears not just pressing some button. And it would be even more complicated if i i would use clutch+manual shifting. It's arguably something you can train, but (i'm honest) i don't like to. IVT just needs to fix the slowshifting on every car that suffers from it. That would improve already a lot. It's a damn arcaderacer not a simulation, so why can't all cars just shift in the same fast way.
Yeah and Crew 2 is more of a cruising and car collecting game than a realistic racing simulator.

I think its quite easy with controller and not on keyboard . Because keyboard cannot count 2 keys in one (clutch+shift) I know on controllers 2 functions (clutch+shift) can be added on one button with configuration as i saw in feather's video , Pressing a single button and making it count clutch + shift . But on keyboard its entire different story my shift keys which are offc num keys only counts as shifting ive to press a separate key which is alt to clutch every time . One key contains one key not 2 sadly on keyboards . I just want to find a way so that my all num keys should count alt key (clutch)without even pressing alt and themselves too (shift) .
For example num 2 should function (alt+num2 = clutch+shift) you know what i mean . Even after making some tweaks in registry editor all keys only count themselves not other keys 😭😭

The problem exists because the same thing would happen in real life, in theory. But the difference with real life is that you would absolutely shred your transmission💀
Been doing this for 2 years now on the Crew 2. I also use short gears and don't care about top end as long as I can pull away and take a corner
So its like forza where if you use manual + clutch your way faster (except the assist this game needs all of them to be fast)

I mean there some differences between every transmission, the s2000 uses a single clutch manual transmission, but the gallardo uses the E-gear transmission which i think is faster. So i don't get the point here

Try to leave menu after picking some option and enter again (it's simply bugged sometimes imo).
Also which gamepad? There are some presets in description for xboxone and ps4

I tried to put it again because I ended up stopping playing for a while but now it's giving the following problem, I configured the buttons inside big picture and when I enter the game they don't work (change gears), when i move the analog to the right it opens the big picture panel too, do you know what it could be, and how can i take this shortcut?
If you using my settings, then sometimes ppl forget to turn on NUM LOCK on keyboard

Akor, this is what some of you guys have been doing in The Crew 1 to gain an advantage for years, right?
In TC1 not many ppl used it, though it was available for Sequential.
But maybe you mean the "clutch-bug", it was quite popular, yeah. But personally i never used and always fighted on official forum with it
@@Akor No, I didn't mean clutch bug. A while ago somebody wrote in the forums about the way some people would use a program in TDU to make the game think they used an H-shifter, when they just had a keyboard/controller/whatever and it gave them a huge advantage. When queried about it they would claim to use a wheel with an H-Shifter but in reality the program would make it possible for them to change gears sequentially with a single button while still using the clutch (automatically) resulting it much better acceleration et cetera. I once raced Jolo in PVP and was fairly certain he used something like that to win since he beat me by 30 - 40 seconds on a track that I finished first in 95% of races.
By the way: How did the clutch bug even work? I think it was patched sometime in 2016 a while after I joined the game, so it was "before my time".

С Дуалшоком проще, если есть. Там в описании ссыль, просто как сиквенталка на стике будет (вверх/вниз передачи)
