It would be awesome if we learn that the ancient mutant Selene is Rogue's biological mother. I also like how Rogue is so irresistibly gorgeous and can't be touched or enjoyed. She is originally drawn as a curvy voluptuous woman that no man can have without risking death.

Rogue is pretty much a mutant vampire sucking the life, abilities & memories from others I know it must've been a living hell for her especially when she couldn't get close to others.
It's funny that you mention that (vampire), as her Brazilian Portuguese name is "Vampira" (which literally means female vampire). She's always been my favorite due to her nigh endless possibilities.
@@RenanElifas I just had a thought Rogue considers her power a curse but think of it as blessing as well especially if guys try to force themselves on her. One touch & their out for the count although she'll absorb their memories & see what they were going to do to her but her touch is the very thing that saves her.
You can't talk about Rogue without mentioning Ms. Marvel. She absorbed so much Carol Danvers' power that Carol almost died. Carol lost her powers and memory, while Rogue retained Ms. Marvel's powers. It's why Rogue can fly. Carol's psyche lived inside of Rogue for a long time. Rogue was not an X-man at this point. She begged Professor X to help with Carol's psyche living in her head. This is how she joined the X-Men, and why Ms. Marvel left.
Too bad you didn't include Rogue from X-Men Evolution, which not only was my favourite but also the best at using her main power without being overshadowed by Carol Denvers' powers!!!!

there's an episode in X-Men Evolution where her psyche was so overloaded that she was able to recall powers she absorbed over time and used them simultaneously with the disadvantage that she was turning into the people she absorbed in mind and power and they were taking over her mind. Charles had to put barriers in her mind to stop it.
My favorite X-Man.
She cannot absorb the Juggernaut's powers either, as they are magical. If you watch the original X-men animation, there's a famous scene where she tried to steal the Juggernaut's powers and ends up regretting it big time.
She could however in X-Men Evolution

Yeah, that's because in X-Men Evolution they portray the Juggernaut as a mutant... which he isn't. Same mistake they made in the X-Men movie with the Juggernaut in it. The Deadpool Juggernaut portrayal is the closest anyone has been in the movies so far in regard to portraying him properly.

I guess it depends on the writer... and how they want to develop the character. Also depends what version of the Juggernaut we're talking about. He's been depowered and changed over the years too. Either way, her absorbing him won't actually damage him or anything, it would be a stalemate at best.
Something that I've been thinking about today, if Rogue was placed into the universe of Attack on Titan and touched a titan shifter, would she become a titan shifter herself, even just temporarily? And if so, what would her titan form look like? Because theoretically speaking, her titan form would likely depend on which shifter she touched, and probably how many she touched.
The irony of Gambit being an omega level mutant. Also hos powers protect him from touch based powers like Rogue and telepathy. Gambit at full power is a beast. I love Rogue and Gambit.

I'm glad she evolved from "oh I'm always depressed because I can't control my powers and I might kill anyone I touch", but... there's basically no rules now for what she can and can't do, beyond the really basic fundamental of skin contact (which isn't even a rule anymore...?)
Yeah I thought it was about time she gained full control of that power, and now when she uses her power her opponent has a choice to accept having their powers or memories absorbed or risk the pain that comes with rejecting the her power.

Her voice is different even though it's the same VA and her hair is different more " clumpy" but I still like her. I don't want to said like I'm complaining.
I heard Rogue gained the ability to recall powers she absorbed in the past. Heard this from the Death Battle channel with Rogue vs Wonder Woman. Not sure if this is credible but sounds like a cool thing to gain by having full control of your powers and trying tk push it's limits.
Gambet is the only one who cannot be harmed by her.

I always thought that ROGUES leeching ability was more than just an energy siphon. Being as though when she absorbed from mutants such as sabertooth that her bodies physical attributes changed too. Sp I gathered that it was some kind of process of energy absorption/gene mimicking ability that's only temporary due to the lack of recombinant DNA strands that are being mimicked. Like with CAPTAIN MARVEL, she held on long enough to completely drain her powers permanently leaving her in a coma for 20 years. Upon waking from her coma she was powerless.
Personally, I think Apocalyps will bring Gambit back as on of his horseman.

No she doesn’t steal their powers. She just copies them by touch.
It’s temporary somewhat. But based on the show Xmen Evolution. She got “overloaded” because she stores the power and memories of people she touch on her psyche of some sort. And it got overloaded.

Rogue is the most Mary Jane character flaw possible. She retains flight forever but...doesn't touch anyone beforehand to gain that ability. She touches Colossus, who when transforms, isn't organic, then gains ability. She literally touches Cables mechanical arm, gains his powers...she is a terrible contradictory character. Writer's were lazy, hell she even touches Apocalypse who doesn't have an organic body, goes insane, comes back to be him...her story is @#%$ing dumb
Her flight is due to prolonged touching Ms. Marvel. Colossus' metal form has been described as organic steel. The Cable situation is definitely an oversight. but not there serious. Also, I believe that Apocalypse's tech is techno-organic, and since he's fused with it, allows him to be affected by Rouge's touch. Chill with the hate

Another OP toon on the X-Men. She should get nerfed. Maybe be able to reflect someones ability back at them like Bishop and then she cannot do it again for at least an hour or a day. This is where she can have a somewhat happy ending because she can sap someone at 7am but by 7:05am, she can touch and be normal until 8am. Lather rinse repeat. Also anyone catch that Meteor Man is basically Rogue. The only difference is that his touch works on written material and not human.
