I arranged a visit for our North Atlanta O Gauge Railroad Club to see Joe’s Southern Keystone back in 2008. As good as the video is, walking in and around this layout was an amazing experience! Joe’s modeling skills simply blew me away! I talked to him at a TCA meet in Ringgold, GA a number of years afterwards and we were going to schedule another club visit. Sadly, Joe passed away before we could get back over to Birmingham.
It's nice when you can hire professionals to accomplish the goal of your imagination. Was the layout donated to a club. It'd be such a waste to tear down.
