Curious what the model number is of this Samsung. I recently found a UN46EH5300 being thrown out. It is only 3 1/2 years old and the problem is with the LED's. Apparently there is an open LED causing the panel not to light up (power supply tests fine and is at over 200V which indicates bad LED string). I have been trying to find instructions on how to remove the back panel so that I can find the bad LED strip and replace it. The service manual I have is of no help in that regard. Everything is about replacing circuit boards which is a trivial job.
