Appreciate the video. Grabbing one of these soon and wanted to see a review that wasn't super technical. I know all the technical specifications but like someone else said 'starting with a pie built is smart' haven't built a gaming rig in years and this seems like a good way to jump back in and catch up on hardware changes without making a huge mistake.

It's still running great too. Noah is actually starting his own TH-cam channel, showing the games he plays on it.
I need a good PC, to relieve my laptop, for editing videos. I'm seriously thinking about getting one for myself just for editing videos for my channel.

@@HayesTech Its been a while, but as a follow up I thought I'd say this thing is doing great since I got it. I did run into an issue with overclocking using the RAM that's installed was unstable, but from what I've seen it's the RAM itself. Not that the thing needs to be overclocked, but it comes that way stock, just barely overclocked. If anyone does read this in runs unto any weird errors, just load into the bios and shut off the overclocking until you buy better RAM. The RAM included is good enough, but overclocking needs ECC for stability. The motherboard and CPU are all set for it, especially the MOBO that has many detailed features for OC.
Thanks again for the review good sir.

I will pin this post and thanks for the info. I used to do all that, in my earlier days, but keep things pretty much stock today. I did upgrade our RAM too. We went with 64Gb (2- 32Gb sticks) that we got off line. I always get my RAM from this same place. We never found a need to change anything in the bios, since we hadn't run into any overheating or even irregular performance issues "yet".. but again, this is all good info and needs to be pinned.

Believe me, I want to make more videos like this but money is tight. Before, I was working and making good money but now, on disability, and with the way things are today, it's hard for any of us to go out and purchase tech. I will do what I can but I can't guarantee a lot of tech videos like this.
I was contacted by a Chinese company wanting me to review their tablet. But they wanted me to partner/collaborate with them. I don't do that. I want complete autonomy to be able to say what I want, and be 100% accurate, about the product I'm reviewing. They didn't want to go that way. Too bad.

Nice review. You will be pleased with the iBuyPower. I just replaced one from 2016 with one very similar to your machine. The one from 2016 has been a beast of a machine but father time in gaming catches up to them all eventually, it is still performing well just cant keep up with all the eye candy in todays game. The new one I have had about 3 weeks now and I love it.

I would love to get one for 4K video editing. I think even the older one would do just fine but this one here flies through 4k editing like a beast. So as soon as I can afford it, I'll have one for myself. 😆

Brother Dave, that is an interesting story! You discouraged the purchase and it ended up being pretty cool after all. I’ve done that with guitars before, so I get it. I use a laptop for uploading and editing videos, but I never take my personal laptop anywhere anymore. Because of that, I am going to consider a desktop next time. It’ll be interesting to see how the liquid cooling system holds up. Great video, brother man 👍🏻

He is running a set of Logitech speakers that come with 2, stereo, speakers and base subwoofer. I use the same system on my laptop and swear by it. These are kind of like the ones I have. Noah hasn't run across any issues like that. The only thing I can think is maybe it was a bad instal or even downloaded file. I know that Steam can be weird sometimes too. You said you were given an option to choose yes or deny? What exactly was that for? Because denying privileges, on some programs, will definitely not allow the program to fully open.

Ive had nothing but problems with my ram. I keep crashing if i turn up past 4800mhz. i even put another 16 gig stick of ram in it and still crashes at 5000mhz and up. It depends on the settings you use. We used full fps settings, for the sake of the video. Noah runs it like that while gaming too. I think it will go up to about 156fps.
