Super clear. Loved the video man. I’ve worked on both normal and slipper clutches but never really knew what the “assist” part of an assisted slipper clutch was. Great job explaining!
Been riding for many decades. Sure ABS, Traction control, better tires and brakes and always a welcome addition but ride by wire, slipper clutch and multitude or ride modes and sensors I have no need for personally. I am not trying to get from A to B as fast as possible. Biking for me is to enjoy the ride, the scenery, the time being alone etc
Wonderfully explained video! And I have a few questions. What's the material of the slipper clutch? Is there a place where I can buy this for my particular bike or any Universal fitment is available?
Sweet and simple video.. Bt ek question hay ki jis bike mey sliper clutch nahi hay usme kya sliper clutch install ho sakta hay..jaise ki r15 v2 mey r15 v3 ka clutch install ho sakta hay..??
In some cases it is possible to retro fit the slipper clutch in a motorcycle. Take the case of RC390 for example, the first generation RC390 can be fitted with the slipper clutch from the second gen RC390 because KTM didn't made any mechanical changes to the engine or gearbox, both the components were exactly the same in both motorcycles. But in the case of the R15 , I am not sure. Because the engines in the V2 AND V3 version of the R15 is not the same, they have some significant differences. I would suggest you to contact your local authorised Yamaha dealership for more clarification.
Revving Heart Local dealership mey unko yeh sab bare mey ku6 nahi pata hay..bohot log aise v hay jinko sliper clutch k bare mey v nahi pata sahi se...mujhe lagta hay ki sirf bore and srotke and silinder hi change kiya gaya hay v2 nd v3 mey...baki sab sayad ek jaisa hi hay..uske sath sliper clutch and VVA diya hay.. Ab. Koi agar yeh experiment kar k dehe to pata. Chalega..
@@rahuldrossi TheSportzTourer has upgraded his rtr 200 with slipper clutch. He has a installation video as well. Link th-cam.com/video/Vxyz4GVt9i8/w-d-xo.html
Hello. how to get such a clutch. mine is still the original model (friction disc only). I have a Yamaha FZ09 or as it calls here in Brasi - MT09. I would like to make this improvement. Thank you very much in advance.
The thing is, we just can't install any slipper clutch on any motorcycle. It has to be specifically designed for that particular motorcycle. As far as I am concerned there is no slipper clutch is available for the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
Hii, I bought a bike Apache RTR 200 in may 2017 and its come with Wet Multi-Plate (6-plate) clutch. now, it's not a year passed company launched upgraded model with the only slipper clutch. so, my question is can I replace my wet clutch with original manufacturer slipper clutch? or need to replace the whole engine?
Thanks for the question. Probably it should be possible to retrofit the slipper clutch if the overall dimensions and design are same as old multi plate clutch. I will suggest you to visit a near by authorised service centre and make an enquiry about it.
Still it is not common in every bike in india. And you said 3 years back. Available in almost every motor cycle 😅 Only available on bikes cost more then ₹1.5lakhs now.
Like quick shifter, it's not a gimmick to show? Champ! Quick shifter is not a gimmick to show, the quick shifter is used in MotoGP class bikes. Almost all the superbikes have it... You've ruined the whole video...
Info is good but irritating accent mere bhai. Hindi me bolta to bhi chalta. Fake nd faltu accent kyu ? Whole world knows we Indian accent !! Thank you.
Prakash Reddy, guess you have not interacted with many malayalees... It's his natural accent and he is not trying to sound Western... That is how malayalees naturally sound when they talk English.
I've asked so many people about this and only got vague answers. Now that I've seen the video it all makes sense. Thank you.

Are there any videos explaining this that aren't narrated by the squishy guy from the simpsons?
What's he saying?
Literally couldn't understand anything
hold in the clutch while braking. issue solved.
Issue solved? And you've just run off the road because you couldn't stop in time without the assist of engine braking.
Like quick shifter, it's not a gimmick to show?
