Active volcano Stromboli climb...with actual eruptions😱 Ep58

None of us had ever climbed an active volcano before, so this was an incredible experience!! Have you?
Not only that, Stromboli overall as a place to visit was well worth the sail!!
With its narrow streets winding through typical quaint Italian villages, guest houses, cafes and restaurants, it's a popular destination for the adventurous who want to climb its summit to experience a natural night time fire works display of erupting lava! It's not without danger though, in fact some have paid the ultimate price and lost their lives pursuing this dream!
I climbed a little over half way, but didn't feel comfortable going further, as along with my fear of heights, I felt it seriously intimidating!
Ben and Zac however climbed all the way to the cloud covered summit, and at one point were terrified as she roared and spat rock and lava! Fortunately they survived with GoPro in hand so we could share the experience!
