Tried a manual ND, didn't fall in love right away (maybe was rusty?) Tried the auto that was available on the lot and fell in love. Went ahead and bought one in manual knowing it'll only get funner the more I drive.
Its such a great manual. You need to be above 3k to generate any meaningful power though - keep it in lower gears and absolutely rev the shit out of it (once you've broken it in, of course)
I am 53 years old, I"ve been into cars since I was 10. My first car was a 1985 RX7. Since then I've owned many great cars including an E39 M5, Mustang LX5.0, 1998 Pontiac Formula with the LS1, Buick Grand National...the list goes on. But none of them have been as much fun as my current 2016 Miata Club. And it's not even close.
In what other road car can you be in a corner, feel the front start to break away, gather it, and then feel the back step out a bit - all within two seconds.
No it isn't. Sorry. It's very good, but as with all cars, it isn't perfect. It does have a large number of plus points however. It absolutely isn't the best car ever made (I have owned several that were better), but it is one of the best cars available in today's market, where you have to balance not just performance and handling, but costs to run. I have a 2023 2.0 184 ND2 and it is very good, but not perfect. I checked out the latest model which has ironed out a couple of things that needed sorting, but let's not get too carried away. In the UK a brand new one of these with the 2.0 engine and all the trim is £35K which is a massive amount of money for a 2-seater small sports car. The greatest cars ever made? Well my Alfa 3.2 GT was more fun to drive but of course only did 25 MPG instead of the 40 MPG that I get from my ND2. Road tax is also a fraction of the price on the ND. But best car ever made? That's a silly title.
None of these are the best, I'm sure about that. I've never driven them, but the cylinder count stops at 4, which is already enough reason to take away any kind of award...

Absolute W. I gotta try the manual sometime

@@screamingstrings76 The ND's have torque off the line - no longer slow car fast. Quick car quicker. 😎

After years of pleading with my girlfriend, I finally bought a beautiful red NA Miata. And it is the best purchase of anything in my life.
Congrats! I’ll have to get behind the wheel of an NA sometime to do a review
I did the same but with a Polymetal ND. I think she likes it even more than I do 😄
a drive on a twisty road with the top down will change your life forever. best car ever.
Dude, I was watching the video, went to like it and realized you had only 1k subscribers. Keep up the good work, the production quality is INSANE!
Automatic gearshift? Imagine the fun if you had the manual!
Just got one two weeks ago. My life has changed. Definitely the best car ever
I have a 2024 manual. I love it!
Same!
@@willreynolds7630 ND1 ND2 ND3 Club are great drivers cars they don't come with automatics.
@@ag4allgood I actually saw a review of someone doing an auto nd3 and I just felt like they were missing out on so much
@@willreynolds7630 I agree that the ND3 manual is a really great setup. To me an uncompromised sport car should always be a manual transmission.
Beauty video man! I'm sad to say I haven't driven a Miata in my life to experience the joy, but your video helped convey what it's like ;)
You gotta get in one bro! They’re such a vibe!!
Your video quality increase has been exponential! Great job, bro. I do wish you hit some more twitsties in it tho
dang, i was up for a 20 min video but somehow things gets all the important points.
Mazda gotta be paying you for this marketing, I've been convinced
Not yet broski. Help me out!!
Great video, liked and subscribed. Mx5 is almost a perfect car. Will never sell mine. John

instant sub after the intro lol that beat slaps
Literally the best car ever made.
In 30 years……When have Mazda ever used the name “Miata”
Not in Europe nor Japan, but in its first generations, Mazda called it the miata in north America
Fun little cars, but I don't fit in them.....
You might try an nc, I'm 6'2" and over 200 pounds and fit well
There are different possibilities, for example the Aurora Seat Mount. I am 6.2 and fit very well into my ND2 RF.
nice video my brother
Glad you enjoyed! I’ve got more like this one on the way!

Maybe. It may be the Alpine A110. But no manual and no cabrio.
