Not bad, you built it your way, in my opinion I would black out all the silver parts, both front and rear bumpers, the rock sliders/step, the wheel well liner. then I would put the original taillights back on. and for the tailgate, you could use truck bed liner to make it rugged and match the black interior
So glad you got the tail gate color matched because it just looked unfinished......but that is my personal thoughts and opinion. The work that DA does is just amazing!! 🎉❤
Got my wiper cowl done recently, reign purple with hydrographics, and i was very impressed with the turn around time and the quality of the work. I gotta say though, i am really surprised that inner-tailgate panel is just powder coated. I would think that would need something more durable, like getting it sprayed with a bed-liner material, just so it isn't scratched up easily.
Still too much silver for me, but it looks much better (not that I thought it was bad before). In the end, it's YOUR Jeep. None of our opinions matter. Hats off to Distinction Applied. They did an excellent job.
Looks great! Ryan is right, the license plate frame being aluminum would add contrast. Last stand out is having the Rubicon decal letters outlined in silver. You won’t have the obvious 392 flex, but it’s on 40s so I think most people would let it slide
Dude. I never hated on the silver, I had a 2013 JK with brushed aluminum rocker guards and fenders. But man something with the shape of these specific Moto built fenders and the tailgate, this looks so much better on this model.
It looks so much better… My only issue with the tail gate now is the way it doesn’t follow the body lines of the jeep. If they fixed that it would look so much better.
@@BobbyCox-cl9ns Lets discuss the driver side, notice how the JL body indents the taillight? Those indention (lines) flow into the original swing gate. The top indention line actually flows across the tailgate to the passenger side. The bottom is slightly off as well, as this drop down tailgate can't adhere to the more swept in lines of the JL due to the hinge mounts. I'm sure having to mount the backup light and license plate made some decisions harder, I'm curious what this would look like if it matched the lines on the drivers tail light and the previous hinge mounts (bring those in slightly so its flush with the body side [ | ] (my ascii art is terrible) This stands out @11:35 Driver Side @13:06
@ see I would disagree because now you would have to create an indentation where the factory door handle was in order for it to match this area. This wouldn’t be symmetrical and seeing as how the tailgate is no longer covered with a spare tire it would stand out to me.
I think the tailgate painted looks better. I actually really liked the machined metal look of your rockers, bumpers and fenders.......its a cool look. I am thinking of doing that to my Gladiator. I think your Jeep looks great, the ONLY part I do NOT like is your rear bumper. I always enjoy your videos guys.
WOW it looks so sick!! great job guys and Distinction Applied! What about fuel cover ... Thoughts about color matching? I do like the silver you have on it now.
I like the new Bikini components. As others have said, I didn't care for the silver but never said anything negative. At the end of the day, it is your decision on any upgrades.
Looks freaking awesome dude. Shout out to Distinction Applied
I NEVER said the silver tailgate looked bad. But I thought it.
The paint looks so much better.
I was not jealous of your tailgate, but now I'm jealous of your tailgate.
Make the new two door the same build. Like a matching 4 door & 2 door. That would be pretty sick
Agreed
This looks great! I agree it was too much silver before. Personally not a fan of the tail lights, but the color works well
Hell yeah man, waaaay better looking 🔥🔥🔥
Dude it looks freaking awesome! I loved it before but I also thought there was too much silver but Distinction and you guys killed this! 🔥
Distinction Applied is where it’s at. Love their work and products. I have many on my Jeep
GREAT look! Distinction Applied really came through!
Not bad, you built it your way, in my opinion I would black out all the silver parts, both front and rear bumpers, the rock sliders/step, the wheel well liner. then I would put the original taillights back on. and for the tailgate, you could use truck bed liner to make it rugged and match the black interior
It looks so good. Awsome job Distinction Applied!
Looks amazing. Great job with all the updates. I can’t wait to get a custom grill from distinction applied.
So glad you got the tail gate color matched because it just looked unfinished......but that is my personal thoughts and opinion.
The work that DA does is just amazing!! 🎉❤
Looks great, Matt! Love the color matched fenders, but also glad you kept the sliders & bumpers silver!
Distinction Applied nailed the color match!! Looks way better Matt. 👍
It does look better with the way you were still able to keep the 2-tone and at the same time make it look almost completely different as well.
I didn’t comment because I respected the fact it was your Jeep but I have to say I think it looks great with the parts painted.
I like your jeep even more now. I just heard about that train. I wanna try it out.
Highly recommend
Jeep looks awesome- especially the tailgate!
Absolutely beautiful. Now it’s time to have a contest to give it away. On to the next build.
It looks great Ryan. Glad your happy with it.
Looking forward to seeing the 2 door progress.
Looks great! Jeep looks more complete with added paint matching,Love the build!👍
It looks like a different beast now. Definitely better looking. Insane build
I liked it with all the silver but…..I love what you did with it. Couldn’t go wrong either way in my book.
Will you ever tell us the story about your head wound? OUCH!!! 🤕
Soooooo much better! Great job!
WWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY BETTER!!! That thing looks like a beast now!
Looks so much better with the silver belly.
Jeep looks great with the new paint and thanks for the shout out.
WOW, now that looks awesome....
It looks so much better! But I think you should’ve done that plate around the back end above the bumper. Just like you did the body skin on the side.
Looks MUCH better! But can we take a minute and acknowledge the production quality of this video? Love the flow, Ryan.
Appreciate it, man!
-Ryan
I loved the jeep before but this looks really nice as well! Keep up the great content!
I was one that hated on the silver. Much, much better and mud will cover the remaining silver. Well done.
When you add on certain body pieces that contrast it looks like it’s from another vehicle and is waiting on paint.
Big improvement.
Looks great! That tailgate looks super clean color matched. Hope to see this or the new '41 build at Pigeon forge jeep invasion next summer!
It looks awesome the way it is great job
Flipping Fantastic! I met Brian at Jeep Jam in MB and the only thing I told him was to tell you guys to color match that tailgate!
Oh boy- the 392 looks perfect 👌🏽
Great job, 👍🏽
looks perfect
Looks super clean
Huge improvement. If I were rich, we have 3 JLs that could look better from Distinction Applied. Well done, Matt.
It looks much better now 👍👍
Good choice Matt, looks way better than it did
Bravo! Much much better!
Man! Dirk Road Creed does it again! Nice!!
Quite a story! Great looking. Painted makes it. Kudos👍
I like the silver, but this is much better! Looks awesome!

Absolutely amazing! Perfect
Great job ! I love it
Looks so much better
Looks sick now. Looks like it’s finished. Before it look like you weren’t don’t with it and just slapped some parts together.
Definitely a huge improvement…I personally don’t like how spare tire deletes look but you also have 40s so there’s that lol…I’m not on “less is more”
Looks great!
I definitely wasn’t a fan of all that silver before, still looks truly amazing 🤙🏿🤙🏿
Fan of the channel, not a fan of this build. However, color matching the pars definitely make it look 100% better. Now I am a fan of the build.
Thumbs up on the new look.

OK, its gorgeous!
Looks sweet!
Jeep looks great
that tailgate with a swingout tire carrier would be 🤤
Waaaaaaay better!
Awesome looking
It’s perfect now!!!!
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the silver. But now it looks sick. It's definitely much better.
Looks great.
Looks alot better.
It looks so much better…
My only issue with the tail gate now is the way it doesn’t follow the body lines of the jeep.
If they fixed that it would look so much better.
How does it not follow the lines? It’s actually curved to match the jeep’s body.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Jeep is sick !
Very nice video. Thank you for sharing.
SO MUCH BETTER!
tied together!
Looks mucho better 🎉
Oh God Bro
Absolute WIN
🤘😎
Thank goodness. At least it kinda makes sense when you see the silver.
I liked both but this is better ❤
Looks great! Tailgate looked unfinished. Much better.
WOW it looks so sick!! great job guys and Distinction Applied! What about fuel cover ... Thoughts about color matching? I do like the silver you have on it now.
Sooooo much better! ❤
Absolutely the way to go. 👍🏻
Definitely better color matched. Might be time for some RSE steps for the family though lol
💯 right move, Matt!!
Looks Waaaaaaaay better!! What rock rails are you running?
looks great
I think it looks better with the color match tailgate and fenders.
Love it!
Damn you hit ur head? That paint work is gorgeous!
I thought after his wife said it look like shit they got into an argument and she hit him in the eye
@@DJ-eu5jd 🤣
The thing that made the two tone odd for me was the bikini is a gloss and the silver isn't. Make the silver gloss and I bet it would look good!
How do you get your jeep to pass PA state inspection?
It's easy, just got to know the right person..
Any teal-adjacent jeep color including Bikini Pearl is the 🐐 and any mod to remove those painted parts hurts my soul
I like the new Bikini components. As others have said, I didn't care for the silver but never said anything negative. At the end of the day, it is your decision on any upgrades.
the silver looked good.... gotta have some contrast....
I think the problem with that silver was that it resembled bare metal instead of an accent color. But it looks way better now.
