    I really like how you used the 3mm rondelle beads at the ends and on either side of the 6mm gemstone beads. Adds width to the bracelet without making it too bulky. Very pretty. TFS!

      In the beginning you keep saying to bring the cord "down through the center" but you're really going " up through the center"

    I've made a 3 wrap bracelet using a single rail wrapit loom, just need a clothespin to help. on the back of the button end, my loom has 2 (i don't know what to call them) slots that you can slide what you have finished into the slots. I don't do the end knots until I'm done looming, so I wrap the leather cord around the finish end and use the clothespin to secure the cord until i get the desired length. then I tie my buttonhole end knots.

    Great tutorial! I really like this technique and loom....and I like how neat and tidy the beads look- they all fall in line! I can see how you can get many different looks by using different beads.

    Beautiful bracelet! I bought one of these pro series looms, but mine won’t stay put when I try to pull t tension on it to start beading. I don’t know what to do about it. I’ve tried everything to keep it from slipping, but it isn’t working. 😢

    I got very confused with the original wrapping instructions-I was going by what you said, not what you were actually doing!! You said "down thru the center", but actually went UP through the center. I ended up replaying that spot 4 times to get it correct. (I got it now!!!)

    You answered a question I had, which is how to add a wide width bead or 3 beads to a bracelet. I was having a hard time because I didn't gradually introduce a wider and wider width. Starting with one, then 2, then 3 demis is a great idea. Thank you. Romans 10:9-13

    Do the small beads help prevent the thread from being cut from the crystal beads

    If you have the original loom you can make this one even longer using the rail from the original kit.

    If I wanted to use this technique to make a choker how would you recommend finishing the ends and what kind of clasp do you think would work? Thanks!

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could still use a button closure. We do have smaller buttons available by TierraCast that would suit a choker nicely. Alternatively you could leave both ends open for a knot closure, or a closure by ribbon crimps and a magnetic clasp. I'll work on a video showing how to do this!

    • @treehstn
      @treehstn 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I've decided to use crimps with a short chain and lobster clasp so it's very adjustable.

    Can I use this to make macramé bracelets? thanks

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      We do not recommend using the Wrapit Loom for macrame projects. Since only one end of the bracelet would need to be anchored, the Wrapit loom may be a bit unstable with macrame projects. We recommend using a macrame board instead: th-cam.com/video/PYzQxEKtljI/w-d-xo.html
      Thanks so much for watching!

    What other cord other than Griffin silk would you reccomend? I just bought the loom with the honeycomb bracelet kit, and I would like an alternatve to the Griffin Silk. Thank you.

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use Nylon cord we usually recommend the silk cord for delicate beads . Thanks for watching!

    Is it possible to use 8mm or 10mm beads with this loom?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can use larger beads in that size, here's an example of using large 10mm by 8mm barrel beads: beadaholique.com/products/retired-celtic-wave-braclelet

    Curious as to the $$$ value of this bracelet. What price points (hi/low) are people seeing with this?

    • @tyrroo
      @tyrroo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm in Canada, and the website lists the Professional [lol] Series Duo at $16.99.
      That's a reasonable price considering that it's just plastic, but I'd rather just use either a clipboard, or a bulldog clip and a small box [total cost maybe $2 max!]

    • @donbernard1869
      @donbernard1869 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the reply tyrroo, but I was curious about the value of the bracelet.

    • @tyrroo
      @tyrroo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Oh, so you're asking what those bracelets sell for? Ok, my bad, that's totally not what I thought you were asking.
      I'd imagine they can sell for anywhere from $5 to $200, depending on materials, construction quality, perceived value of the jewelry artist [meaning, are their prices all under $20, or all $100+, or whatever], and the willingness of the buyer to pay it!
      Imo, $20-40 is an appropriate price for this sort of bracelet [again, depending on materials used and construction quality]. That's what I sell mine for.
