Another gorgeous bracelet! Thanks Emma for the wonderful tutorial! I didn't know how to do a snake knot but now I have your video to always refer to.
Enjoyed the video, Emma. Love the new knot. Thank you for sharing 💐😊
What a beautiful way to start and finish with snake knots. Now I'm making all my bracelets this way. Thank you 💞
I can't begin to tell you how many tutorials I have seen and your video is by far the best! I love how easy and detailed you were. I love how the knot at the end when finished tucked in so nicely.I was making mine along with you but with Paper beads. You are absolutely a great teacher and your voice was simply relaxing. Excellent job! Also loved the story about your nephew. I certainly enjoyed this tremendously!
Thank you!
Thank you so much Ginah 🤓 That is so nice of you to comment. It really motivated me. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
This style was exactly what I was looking for ! Thankyou ! You explained very well ! ❤
Lovely bracelet 🤩 You're an excellent teacher. Thank you for your video!
I love snake knots ! I learned that from Kellie from her videos. Those are really cool bracelets
Love the bracelet and how easy you made the snake knot. I love how you teach. looking forward to more leather bracelets.
Thank you Kathi 🤓
I appreciate your determination to make your knot-instructions easier to follow. :)
Love the snake knot! Thanks for the great tutorial!! I hope this gets me making jewelry again, it’s been a while!
I hope you find your bead mojo 🤓
Nice knot, I know how to do it now, thank you Emma. I still haven't made the "bracelet" for the hat so, when I do, the snake knot will be a nice addition to it 😊
You make this look so easy. I may try the snake knot again.
PERFECT TIMING!.......Christmas is right around the corner and I was looking for a video for mens bracelets! Thank you so much for sharing!
Your snake knot is fabulous, thank you for showing it.
Thank you Sissy 🤓
Thank you so much for your video. It's the first one that made sense to me about how to attach the beads between the leather strands. The snake knot and the barrel knot was very easy to follow also.
Love that I finally found your tutorial. I have been trying to figure out how to get my leather wrapped bracelets to not look cheap and I think the snake knot is just the thing I need for them. Thank you so much for the detail in your instructions. Love this bracelet too.
I'm so glad Brittanie 🤓 I'll be doing more with variations. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
Excellent demonstration of doing a snake knot. Thank you!
Looks fantastic! I have yet to work with leather so it’s intriguing watching - maybe one day soon! ❤
Thank you so much for your very detailed instructions. I was able to follow along, stop the video, and then continue to completion. The snake knot caught my eye in the preview picture so I had to check it out. This is the 1st video of yours that I watched but will definitely not be my last! look forward to seeing more of your creations and instructions.
I love the way you teach and I love this bracelet ❤ thank you
I've watched several videos on how to do this and was confused. Thanks for making one that finally made sense to me. Can't wait to try my hand at this.
I'm so glad Carol 🤓
These instructions are so clear and amazing! Thank you!
Thank you Kharla 🤓
I must have watched about 10 different DIY tutorials on leather wrap bracelets before I finally found this one. You explain things so clearly and simply, yet thoroughly. Thank you! I love the bracelet I was selected to make while watching this!
Btw, you're fortunate you were able to place big orders of Tieracast findings- I heard they are shutting down. It's so heartbreaking. First Swarovski, now Tieracast, two huge names in premium jewelry supplies going away... *sigh*
I'm glad this was helpful. I managed to get a few large orders of Tierra Cast. So sad. My two favourite components 🤓

Wow you're an awesome instructor! Great video and really cute bracelets ❤
Thank you 🤓
Oh Emma!!!! I am so thankful and starting to get a bit obsessed with this fabulous knot!!!! I LOVE how you can go directly into weaving beads!... You don't have to graduate up using seed beads!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Thank you sweet friend!!!!
I'm glad you like it. I was thinking the same. This knot spreads the strands to fit your beads perfectly. 🤓
@@BabySquirrelBeading it also is perfect for 8mm beads fyi! My son-in-law is making me crazy picking out beads for my "to do" list for him! 😆
Yes , I've made them with 8mm 🐿️
I just saw your live for the very first time! I subscribed & loved watching. You spoke so clearly & gave such great directions!! Loved it!
Thank you Luanne 🤓
Very nice just love it quick and easy thank you for sharing 💟🌷
Very clearly explained and demonstrated.

Hi Emma. Wow I love the knots you did. Especially how you explained how to do them. I’ve seen it on another channel but couldn’t get it. You made it look so easy. Love the around the hand part. The beads you chose are gorgeous! TFS 💝🥰🤗
Hi Susan 🤓 so glad it helped 🐿️
Are the best teacher and so thorough. Thanks a million. Take care❤
Thank you Brenda 💋
You have such a pleasant voice. Great tutorial!
Thank you Janney 🤓 That really make me feel good. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
@@BabySquirrelBeading Hugs right back!
I can finally do the snake knot watching your video. Thanks 👍
That makes me so happy 🤓 Hello from Nova Scotia 🐿️
TFS! Love this and I have a ton of beads, just need to get the leather cord. Going to make some for my great-nieces and my sister for Christmas! New subbie from Northern Alberta, Canada! 🇨🇦 Nice to meet another Canadian!
Welcome to the channel 🤓 So nice to get more Canadian subscribers 🐿️
Fantastic! I’ve been wondering how to incorporate beads with the leather without using wire or really big beads that will fit over the leather. This is great. Also, the beads you are using are dyed howlite, a common stone used for imitation turquoise (I’m a lapidarist who makes jewelry as well). I like this snake knot better than the barrel knot. I always have trouble getting the barrel knots to look neat and it drives my OCD nuts. Thanks for the tip on getting the last 2 knots to look the same for my OCD! 😂
Lovely bracelets, I don't know why I haven't done more of them
Thank you!! You are a wonderful teacher!!! I have learned so much! ❤ Caro
Thank you Larry 🤓 Big hello from Nova Scotia 🐿️
Great Instructions!!! Beautifull work and thank you 🥰
@@sofiaalvarez3670 Thank you Sophia 🤓 My pleasure. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
Such great tutorial! Thank you! 🤩
I love wrap bracelets! And, Emma, you make this look so easy! Dang! I'm gonna have to invest in some Tierra Cast buttons!!!!! I went and got some leather so I could practice with you! Great tip!
That's awesome 🤓
I went to Amazon thinking I'd get some inexpensive leather since i didn't want to wait for it. It was so expensive! So i went back to Xsotica. Can't wait for it to get here! They have great prices, even on just small amounts. 10 feet is only $1.85. And 10 meters is only $4.50. For 2 mm. Very reasonable! I practiced with some cheap leather I got from Walmart. Sammie (my cat) ran off with it! LOL!
Your tutorial for the snake knot is so simple and clear that i got it on my first try. Thank you. From the Philippines.
Thank you Vivian 🤓 That means a lot. I grew up with first generation kids from the Philippines and my best friends at work were other nurses from the Philippines. You have a big place in my heart ❤️
YOU'RE A LIFESAVER! The guy that I like loves bracelets. He buys one whichever city/island he's traveling to, and he has been giving me some as gifts. I think it's his love language so I've been meaning to give him a handmade one. I love this particular design but couldn't find a good tutorial for it. I'm so glad you came up in my recommendations! Now I can finally gift him this!
That is so nice 🤓 I love making bracelets for men. Big hello from Nova Scotia 🐿️
@@BabySquirrelBeading Hi again! I'm having a hard time sourcing specific materials for this. May I know where you bought the materials you used in this video? Thank you so much! 💗
I love these !
Thank you. Im sorry you received negative comments. People don't like different or change. I applaud you for sharing your ways.
I learned to cook & preserve from an older neighbor that was 80 plus years. We reused seals, canning with common sense. She would "say waste not want not"" hard day of work now is a relaxing day when colder"
I also question organic and natural lables. My sister has an organic farm in Michigan-what is alouded under laws is not any better than my own back yard.
I raised my kids by what I learned from my neighbor, godmother & and friends' families.
Thank you Annie 🤓 Someone just commented they fell asleep 😜 I miss canning. I used to make some really lovely chutneys. 🐿️
I have made bracelets like this. I love the knots. Great video, Thank you.
Thank you Stella 🤓
Hey Emma! Thanks for a great tutorial on the snake knot! Love it!
Will check out Xsotica's leather cord & if I order I'll let them know you mentioned them!
Thank you Kotiti 🤓
Hi Emma. Love your leather bracelets with sparkles or without. They are so easy to wear, look great and even I managed to make them knot and all. Got the length thing messed up but hey ho, loose another dozen or so stones and I got a belt instead, oh yeah. Hugs from your dizzy dripping here in the scorching UK. Well, today was warm anyway. X x x
It's really hot here as well. Just hiding out in the house with all the fans going 🤓
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, wonderful video!!!
Thank you Leslie 🤓
Excellent tutorial!
Great tutorial!😍
First time watching you and boy oh boy I need to watch alot of your videos. I love how easy your instructions are. My husband loves to wear bracelets, but they are hard to find Manly ones. Thanks again on how to do snake knots. .
You are welcome Joan 🤓 I just made a leather bracelet made from an old leather belt. It might give you ideas for your husband. Thanks for watching and commenting. It makes the process so much more fun when people participate. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
Beautiful work ❤😊
Thank you. This is superb.

That 5.5” one would fit me perfectly!
You make this so much easier.
Fantastic!!
Beautiful.
Hermosas pulseras!!! Gracias amiga por compartir y que tengas mucho éxito!!
BEAUTIFUL
I remember my grandmother would wrap Christmas gifts in the Sunday comics
Thank you!! Best video ever. I have been doing it wrong forever,
Hi Renne 🤓 There is a few ways of doing it but this way works the best for me 🐿️
Pretty beaded bracelot
❤ easy
Thank you so very much ❤️❤️❤️.
Love these love these love these. I've made them before and great to see your post. I make 2 necklaces, one slightly longer. That gives me a necklace and a double wrap bracelet. Maybe an idea for you to try.
Thank you Christine 🤓 That's a great idea. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
I really liked your video. You willing share. That's so wonderful. Thank you
Thank you too 🤓
I love these snakeknots!
Your technique to do the bracelet looks interesting. I just do them like they explain it for the wrapit loom. I think I will do one tomorrow and use your snakeknots. It feels like mixing makrame with wrapit looming. The wrapit loom technique is a bit more securing the beads to their place in my opinion. I am following your channel now and am curious what I will learn from you by watching. 👋😊
Thanks for sharing this.
Bellissimo!!!😍Thank's❤
I know I'm a month behind and just now doing this tutorial. I think the stone you were talking about that uses pieces parts of stones is called reconstituted stone. Ok, onto making this lovely bracelet. Wish me luck!
Thank you Melissa 🤓 I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I know you'll do a great job 🐿️ Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🤓
My 7 years old grandson, Ivan, favorite color is pink and has been for a couple of years. He wore a pink t-shirt in kindergarten for the first time. He told me a boy made fun of him saying pink is a girl’s color. I told him ‘that’s bologna! God made all the colors for all of us!’ He has proudly worn his favorite color ever since then. 💖
Sad to hear that kids are saying these things. So glad to hear his Nanna has his back. Thank you for sharing that with me 💞
You go Nana!!
You go Ivan!!!
Idea.
Show Ivan that some Major Sports teams have pink in their uniforms…….sports announcers wear pink shirts…….so Ivan can wear pink proudly.
Those bullies on the playground don’t know scat.
I’m 50 and when I was 15 in high school all the guys wore pink jumpers …..tell him he put a smile on an Australians face
Love it
Yes with the turquoise beads, they either use howlet or the bits that companies cant use, the will what they call reconstructed turquoise. Im what my friends call a connoisseur of turquoise. I grew up in a green house on turquoise Street and then found out im half cherokee. My mother past down to me her turquoise ring she was given we she was a young girl and its over 90 yrs old and it doesn't come off unless i have a surgery, which is given to my boys. I wear a turquoise ring on every finger each one given. When it comes to jewelry im self taught, because I see things and figure it out.
Thank you Sherri 🤓 I love the colour turquoise. Your rings must be awesome. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
Muy hermoso brazalete, gracias por compartir
Thanks appreciate you
Splaying slowly for understanding God’s Bless
I have never seen anyone tie a snake knot like that… but it works… I normally use paracord in my weaving and have only recently changed mediums because of my rheumatoid arthritis in my left hand… the amount of hand strength needed to do paracord weaving is ten time more than working with leather or waxed cordage… I make so many things with snake knots as it my favorite decorative knot and never have I seen a snake knot tied the way you did it… it was actually kinda cool 😊 I love this bracelet and will be making it myself… I will have to get creative with the thread though…
Thank you so much for letting me know. I love doing leather bracelets and this knot is so beautiful. I know what you mean about your hands. I had two surgeries on each hand. I'm so hyper I have to keep my hands busy 😜 Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
@@BabySquirrelBeading same with me… I have to be doing something all the time… it drives me nuts to not be as active as I once was… I was hit by a man running from the police doing 125mph… my entire spine is completely fused from the base of my skull down to my pelvis… so I can’t do all the things I used to do…. I had to find new hobbies… I have always played with paracord and knots because I camped a lot and I teach scouts as well… so I started weaving paracord bracelets, making survival bracelts for the scouts and then the rheumatoid arthritis started flailing up and I had to find something a little easier som8 switched to leather and some other cordage mediums to see what I could c9me up with… I also love to play with resin and uv resin… so, I keep busy, but it’s not the same… but, at least I’m still here!
Wow that's incredible 🤓 Amazing you can do anything. I used to knit from the age of ten. Not anymore with my hands. My wife and I went to a retirement workshop and one old guy who had more energy than both of us said the key to a happy retirement is having hobbies. I'm so lucky to have found beading. It feels great connecting with people here on TH-cam. What is your name and where are you? We are hoping for a quiet hurricane season here in Nova Scotia 🐿️
Love these! Your snake knots look perfect. OMG! I love it. Thank you so much. A pretty bead is a pretty bead to me. Because of loom work, I usually go under then over. I think a Knotty Do-It-All would be great for you. Your poor nephew. It is sad that your sister spoke truth. Love the story about the Christmas exchange. I can’t say that I’m sorry to hear you placed a large order with Artbeads. 🤣 How about a live “Must Have Tools & Supplies”? Be well, Princess Emma!
I am so excited about my two massive Tierra Cast orders but I can't express this to Jenn 🤓 She things I have enough beads 😜 My response... they're not beads they're findings 🤣🤣🤣 Good idea about the tools. 💋
I’d love one of your bracelets
Hi Laura 🤓 Glad you like the bracelets. I checked out your channel and love it. I'm an artist as well. I do animal and people portraits. I have a giveaway today and throughout the month. Good luck 🤞 Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
This is really pretty! The "turquoise" beads might be dyed howlite...which is still gorgeous!
Thank you Linda 🤓 Yes howlite 😜
