Such a POWERFUL scene. This world is inundated with people that are so blind to the horrors of other people's realities and they will stay blind until they either experience for themselves or something else so traumatic happens that they can have the empathy to fully understand and finally "get it."

I'm not blind to the horrors. I'm just not naive and blind enough to think it's anything but nature running it's course. You're just making assumptions without basis in reality that animals feel like we do. The truth of the matter is we have no clue what animals think. So while it's a great movie it's taking massive liberties in a scene like this.

@@eddiewinehosen6665 This scene reminds me of my belief that people who were picked on as kids are better nicer kinder adults than those kids who either never got picked on or did the picking on. Unfortunately, for most humans you have to have experienced adversity, tragedy, great pain before you can properly empathize with others.

Powder's main gift was always empathy.. To feel what someone or something else is feeling and being able to transfer that feeling to someone else! That was shown at the beginning when he was born and his dad denied him! His brain monitoring went off the charts when his dad denied him in the movie as a baby!!! Beyond genius. I am talking about the Nature Renaissance that we’re going through right now! Basically, legalizing cannabis and psychedelics, veganism trending, environmentalism trending, teachings of nature based spiritual societies like shamanism and Wicca trending, alongside meditation and yoga practices trending.

May Lee Hunting is not a Sport unless your living off the Land 🌎🌏🌍 like our forefathers that came here living off the land. The Native Americans had a deep respect for GODS CREATION. The ancient civilizations the Mayans,Aztecs,Incas were so civilized. Indeed. Compared to the western Europeans that came to America and raped the land. God will bring to ruin those ruining the Earth. Killing animals for sport is a satanic mentality. Mankind in general has such a low regard for life. That is not God's purpose for Mankind and the planet. 🌎🌏🌍📖🙏👱👴 loving the creation but first of all loving the Creator. The problems that face mankind are so immense No-Man or government could possibly even begin to rectify all the wrongs man has committed since the beginning of time. Sport hunting is the reason why many species are not already extinct. Hunting licenses pay for habitat protection and the care of wildlife. An animal without purpose will be driven to extinction, either by human expansion, or eventually, by the callous cold hand of nature herself. Nature is a spiteful bitch, and she spares none, none but those with the intellect to chain her and subdue her. Be glad you're not subject to the terrors of the wilderness, the wilderness wants nothing better than to eat you alive.

This scene always makes me emotional. Animals have a brain, nerves, and neurotransmitters just as we do. They feel pain and a desire to be free from harm. When it is unnecessary to kill in order to survive, there is no justifiable reason to take someone's entire existence away from them on behalf of the pleasure of the hunt or the pleasure of our taste buds. When there are vegan options that are cheaper by the pound (beans, lentils, produce, etc.) There is no reason to treat an animal as an unfeeling commodity. Go vegan. Vegan22 will give you a free nutritionist and recipes to help you make the transition for 22 days.
Stay compassionate. There is no difference between killing a puppy or killing a male calf so we can drink their mother's breast milk.
