I was so moved by this, I contacted the owner . She was nice enough to get back to me and invited me to an event where I could actually see The Quiet Man in person. I spent the next 3 days visiting . Oh, my god do I love the horse and breed. The music I now seek out and savor. Thank you CJ.❤💌❤
Around 2012, this stallion lived not far from me at a small farm in South Park near Pittsburgh, PA. A woman was offering riding lessons at that barn and I went over on the pretense of watching how her teaching methods. The truth? I wanted to see The Quiet Man up close and personal. And, yes. I did see him. One word: Gorgeous.
He takes my breath away- He executes so much pride in his stride- I LOVE the carriage of his neck and how high he holds his tail... This is what a desert horse is SUPPOSED to look like. I've been waiting my entire life to own a horse like this, you guys are very, very lucky to own and be able to love something this wonderful.
I could sit and watch Arabian horses all day...they move so gracefully as if they're walking on air. Their movement's are just so beautiful and different from other breeds ❤
Arabian horses are so nice to look at. I’m a Quarter Horse gal myself but the Arabian especially of this quality are just awe inspiring. Absolutely gorgeous.
The true Arabian horse character is spirited, but gentle and very responsive to people. (However, if treated harshly, many would rebel.) My Arab stallion (old-fashioned authentic Arab, not 'Polish' nor 'Egyption') took my 3yr old daughter for walks, lowering his head to be eye-to-eye with her so he would not accidentally step on her. Sprited when appropriate. Not overly leggy, nor did he have Saddlebred-like action, but a floating trot. Did lead changes every stride... I was blessed.
My heartlust was for Baarez but since he has been shipped off to where the US has no access to him I've been looking at other Kariim sons. My focus is endurance so structure and temperment are most important.
we're thinking he'd make a great hunter prospect. he is now owned by my barn in south park, pa. we're going to breed him with my little grey mare when he's back from gettysburg after show season 2012 :) can't wait.
Oh my gosh! He is like the King Of The Desert! When I watched this video, I thought it was like a word from heaven. This horse is Jesus's messenger definately.
I know this was a really long time ago, but in case anyone else stumbles upon this and is also wondering, this horse is a gray and at the time was going through a 'rose gray' phase. Rose gray horses are grays that have a pinkish tint to them, like a rose.
I was looking at his face and was wishing my arab was that typy, and then I saw the movement and wished he moved a little more like that when I ride, and then I saw the tail... holy crap now that is a full tail. lol
He never lowers his tail, it's been nicked. A very cruel surgical procedure that makes the horse feel irritation so it holds the tail up constantly. Could you imagine having to live like that? Sick owners.
That's a really big accusation to accuse someone of. Tail nicking pretty much only ever happens in gaited breeds, of which the Arabian is not. I don't think I've ever heard of an Arab being nicked. Arabians naturally flag their tail when excited or anxious. This stallion seems to be a little amped up and excited in the video, so it's only natural for him to hold his tail high.

Oh my gosh! He is like the King Of The Desert! When I watched this video, I thought it was like a word from heaven. This horse is Jesus's messenger definately.
Large nostrils, short hair and good Skin, dry bonework in their legs are Some of the traites necessary in a well built Arabian horse.

That is what I understand to be the rose-grey color.
He was only 4 when this video was made, so he will probably shed out to be completely gray.
Maravilhosamente lindo!!!!
Stunning! Why do I never see Arabians being ridden?
Even in shows they are led around by a human.

That is generally done to saddlebreds and the carriage doesn't look the same. This is a genetic trait in arabian horses and many other breeds.
What a horse
butiful movments :D it locks laick a god dresasje horse :D
