This is a Baroque gem! The Largo and Adagio are so modern-sounding; they really show that music in Telemann's time was moving in a new direction. And that horn-like Vivace, what a surprise!
This is sublime. There are moments in the Largo where Telemann anticipates contemporary composers like Schnittke--or rather, Schnittke appears to emulate Telemann. Measures 19, 20, and 21 sound for all the world like Barber lifted them right into his famous adagio. Fantastic stuff!

Violins or viola's ? I saw on a score not the violin clef (sleutel) but de viola sleutel . How is this ? It sounds here as viola's !
