Can't wait to pay 8K for one of these 9 years from now
Perfect comment.
100% - plus its essentially the same as the SR-15 just with a MARS-L lower. I guess you also get a dimpled barrel on the 13.8 if that is really worth it to you.
I just want a rail bruhhhhh
Lol
@@Girthbrooks1989 How much u wanna pay?
“Do something it’s not designed to do”. Last time I checked, the SR-16 uses the same barrel the SR-15 does. Either way, if your gas tube doesn’t blow before your barrel does, I see that as a severe safety issue. Either way it goes, it seems like we will be melting the 13.7 when it comes out since he’s advising this one will not do what the SR-15 done with us.
Great you guys got the KAC salty😂 first time
@@jzzzzz8362🤣🤣
Im really looking forward to this.
@@GoldenWebb A better way is to send the blowed up upper back to KAC when KS1 barrels comes for a re barrel. Not sure if they will, but it would cost way less than getting a new one. Their next thing to say is probably, oh that one wasn't URX6 and the complete KS1 don't do that.
@@jzzzzz8362 I sent the old one back and paid for it to be fixed. Oh well
Could have handled the barrel situation a little better at the end haha
Def. Salty, almost like there is other barrels that also arent designed for it but did much better...
Exactly.
guy just held it and ask no questions lol
A company that makes things that are never available on the commercial market.
HK said WHAT!
That weapon weighs about 3/4 of a pound more than the thinner profile barreled KS3 and KS2. Did it feel snout heavy to you?
One of my favorite booths at SHOT
Sooo it's an ar15 with mlok and an a2 pistol grip?
Yes
But it says KAC in it😅
I’ve got that notch in my cqb upper, makes sense now. thanks.
@GoldenWebb with a mention 😂
Hahaha he sounds alittle salty
Good times!
Will the KS-1 be available to civilians in 2024? I want to have my money ready
@@cantrellwhite01 Yes. probably around summer time
Can’t wait for these to go for $60k on GB
More classic M110 parts please. Or at least license them out!
Next time use someone who at least has an interest in the product being featured. I've never seen someone look so disinterested in Knights Armament before.
Weaponsnatcher @ 1:02
How does the urx6 have a notch when you have to rotate the handguard to install how do you lock the notch in
Might be a different install method
Urx 6 has a separate barrel nut
"Want obscenely expensive mid tier gear?"
Has an A1 grip and an ambi charging handle…. All for the low low price of $3500
Ambi controls too. LWRC, DD, PWS, LMT, Sig, ADM got nothing on that right ?
Oh, wait...
The early failure on the KAC torture test made him salty.
Ya, homeboy is REAL salty about blowing up a barrel on a beloved KAC when other manufacturers held up long past it.
He was bad salty for some reason🤣
I just hear a lot of excuses. Meh
Kac is like Cadillac just paying for the name
At $4,000+ for an AR15, it's hard to argue with that. Sure it's a good rifle, but what exactly justifies that price tag ?
@raifsevrence You can get very good rifles in 1600- 2000 after that it's just paying for the name
Cadillac is garbage, bad analogy.
@HWG-wm8ld How so? I own LMT, Noveske, DD, and kac with that $ doesn't do anything better than those brands, you are paying to say I have a kac, like paying to say I have a caddy or Mercedes etc. The performance isn't better once you get to certain price point
Oh yes, the infamous rifle that couldn’t handle a 500 round meltdown😂😂😂😂
KAC or LMT?

Kac lol
Both
Big contract ??
I think he's talking about the Wankers' Rangers.
Speaking as a professional gunsmith who has worked for big manufacturers and also as an independent, you guys have np clue how much you're overpaying for these fancy AR's. I know what these weapons cost to manufacture and assemble, and you guys are paying way, way, WAY over that. These guys are making ridiculous profit margins on you guys. Yes, Knights Armament, Lewis, BCM, Radian, and others make great rifles, but most of you have no idea how slight the differences between their guns and much cheaper guns are and how and why one product is better than another one. The psychology of "gun guys" hasn't caught up with how far the technology and manufacturing methodology has progressed and has become refined over the past 15 or 16 years, and you've become locked into this mindset where more expensive always means a better product. And so you've got people paying $3K-$4.5K on AR's where you are LITERALLY just paying for the logo on the receiver. The vast majority of these rifles don't do anything that a $1k-$1.5 AR can't do. You are just flushing that money straight down the toilet. I can build an AR for about $1200 that will functionally outperform nearly anything you can find at Knights Armament, Lewis, Noveske, or Radian. For most of you, these very slight differences in performance are just fairy dust anyway because you have no where near the knowledge or skill sets necessary to take advantage of them.
If you're military with a ground forces mos or le and have proper training, small improvements to the ar platform go a very long way. You'll take anything you can get to improve a tool that protects your life. If you're an average joe that likes to shoot, then yes I agree with you 100%.
No, it’s amazing with other companies are doing it better than KAC.. radian lasted longer in the burn down than the god almighty sr15.. cheap ass barrel
Coming to market in 10 years for 10k 🫡
Wow another overpriced ar-15 that doesn’t bring anything new to the market… you could convince me this is shot show 2010
What would you like to see? Laser beam guns?
@@HWG-wm8ld or improvement in less gas blowback like one company has done with their BCG. Little stuff like that goes a long way & yet we are building the same basic ar time and time again with little to no updates.
kac is nowhere to be found, always empty shelves
I hear the same about PSA, so buy something else.
At least a PSA can survive longer than 500 rounds in a meltdown😂😂😂😂
No innovation
I bet you parrot that line about most companies. What have you done in life?
In terms of innovation they have ALOT of proprietary parts and a certain way that they do things actually. On the outside it all looks the same, but it's alot different than a Geissele, DD, ADM etc....does that make it worth more to the common man? No. Does it make it worth the extra $1k+ to KAC knob gobblers? Absolutely 😂 Hell they'll pay 2-3x MSRP for this shit.....like I've seen these guys pay $5-8k for a discontinued UPPER RECEIVER GROUP!!! Not even a full gun. The KAC Cult Elitists are the worst in the gun community lol
Just buy LMT. Same quality if not better, more products available, and cheaper
