- Hey squad! I'm so excited to train your upper body and core today! Remember, training your core is so beneficial for all lifts, work on breathing and connecting to the muscles, sometimes taking it a bit lighter and engaging more on the exhale will make all the difference! I've never appreciated and understood core training like I do after having my baby last year and rebuilding my core strength and control and this workout maximizes that connection. Grab some dumbbells and let's crush it!

In today’s workout we will work for 60 seconds and complete two rounds of each exercise. Focus on keeping a tempo of 2-0-2 to make sure you are getting hypertrophic gains! I want you to focus on your breath and really targeting one specific muscle group at a time. The dumbbells I used for this workout are 10 lbs, 15 lbs, 20 lbs, and 25 lbs.

5. Lateral Raises
6. Standing Arch overs
7. Underhand Rows
8. Standing Front rack crunch and twist
9. Close Press and Tricep Extension
10. Lunge stance twists

Really liked the standing core and would love to do more. Feels so practical, like this type of strengthening will help avoid injury in normal life (laundry, groceries, kids, dogs etc)!
I personally love the standing abs!! I find I connect much more than floor core work

Some of the moves were really new to me and I *loved* them 😍💪
I’ll be honest, I didn’t love this workout but I still crushed it. Still grateful for this new video and for Sydney and Dustin for always putting in the work for us. For myself, I needed a little more umph in my Friday workout. Missing some cardio action for me so I’m going to do an add on with one of Sydney’s other workouts. Crushed it! Sydney I have a very rare condition it is MEN2 I saw my specialist the other day and seeing that I was 209 the last time I saw him and losing weight to 157 he was very happy🎉and so was I. My goal weight is 155, but I always go up and down about 5 pounds, and I'm OK with that ❤ thx Syd
That was more challenging than I expected. Good sweat! Working those smaller muscles...so good!
I loved the format of this exercise! When the burnout round hit, I had no clue we were even done. Loved and crushed it!!!!
I was a little bummed with this format again. I had a hard time connecting to these moves but a little better than the last legs workout
10/27/23 wow! my hips are so tight. I need to do this workout more! lower back is SO tight from knee replacement and sitting all day!
I have always love standing core excercises because of bulding this mind muscle connection and also love to work on that area of my body because it needs more muscle strength ....so yeah great workout!

Okay I was not feeling a workout this morning as I might have got about 2 hours interrupted sleep in total all night long - uggh restless leg syndrome is so awful and on top of that arthritic pain in hands feet and lower back pain - I am not impressed to say the least! I got a later start but I totally finished this workout strong! So glad that I have Sydneys workouts - I am typically a very dedicated workout person so even though I didnt want to get out of bed I knew I had to get this in! happy weekend - here's hoping my sleep is better tonight!
