Sorry for talking so much. I had a lot to say today! LOL. I hope you enjoy this reaction.

everytime they perform born singer they change some of the lyrics like when they talk about age or years but the ones on proof album are the same from the first version
J Cole gave them permission to use it so they finnally were able to officially release it so it's on their Proof Album and yes RM updated his lyric's slightly to fit the time difference.

freaking BTS. when "Yet to Come" came out I didn't need it. I was good. I was like "yes! of course! look how far we've come!" But they knew a year and 6 months later I was going to need this song and it would bring me to tears and I would be able to listen to it every time I missed them and instead of being sad get excited for how great the future is.
When the 4 did their last V live I got really sad and scared. Scared that I would forget them. Which is impossible, but I decided to listen to their music every single day until Jin comes back. It's crazy because they really make music that makes life better. and have music for every occasion! I already describe BTS' discography as the soundtrack to my life because I discovered them when I turned 21 and have been listening for 8 years and every album reminds me of a certain time in my life. But it truly feels like that lately.
I am a multistan and have seen 4 of my favorite groups go and return from military service and even have new groups I am really stanning. I was doing quite well with BTS joining until it just all hit at once. Now re watching this performance is literally tearing me up and comforting me all at the same time
oh you should definitely listen to the original version of born singer, i recommend the live performance stage mix. the first performance is from 2015, and the other is from 2017, i believe. it never fails to give me chills and make me emotional. amazing performances

I like this performance of theirs because everything is perfect here - the beautiful location, the colour scheme, the live band, funny Anderson Park and the sincerity of the boys. Let olone beautiful songs and vocals. And I'm looking forward to your reaction to the Rise of Bangtan. My fav series, which I'm not tired to watch again and again with every reactor whose take I really care about.

33:02 so TRUEEEEE! like we were a bunch of armys way back 2013 until it came to a point that some of my peers are saying stuff like that yeah the tannies are so westernized shiz but yeah if they were real fans they would see that it's not about the western stuff it's just because they want to reach out through musicㅡ their mindset since the beginning. And they should have seen that no amount of success changed the tannies. They're still the tannies we've known since the beginning. I'm sometimes saddened by this but I'm glad i still have a few friends remaining that didn't think that way. Like i met them through tannies and my friends til now. Born singer was originally a soundcloud release. They finally got the sample/interpolation (?) cleared by jcole/his team & released it with proof! 💜

If you want to check out born singer I definitely second this! It’s a great emotional song. There is a stage mix video where you have two different performances from different years separately on your left and right ear. It’s really amazing. They even compare the original lyrics to the changed lyrics. It might be too much tho for a „first time“ listening. Whatever you react to I’ve got to say that to me born singer is one of the songs that is better live both the 2015 and 2017 live are so emotional loaded.

I think they just might tour in 2025, maybe late in the year but I'm almost sure Suga said something like that (i could be wrong). i think that is why they signed their renewal contracts so early so that the company can start mapping out the tour and booking venues and all the logistics. Plus BTS is well known for making plans long in advance, they probably already have songwriters putting together demos and they usually have a lot of tracks in their vault. But it also depends on their mental state when they are discharged and hobi an Jin will be out quite awhile before the others.
A little sidenote, Anderson Paak and Park Jimin actually have the same family name 박, it's just romanized differently as Paak and Park.
Park (박) is Korea's third most common family name after Kim and Lee.

They freaking really shocked us. Plus they changed a few lyrics. This is the updated version. This is a 2013 song. This is the 3rd update to it. I hope u check out the other stage lives for it. Born Singer is a great song to start with. I hope u listen to it again after and read the lyrics more carefully. It's a beautiful song. They have i think 2 old lives for Born Singer. Yes, he has wanted to do this for a long time. Saw it on my twt tl. He wanted to drum for Bruno Mars but he was told no for some reason. Please do the 2022 Festa Dinner; it was my first and hit me hard to think I had arrive too late (Jul 2021). I watched it again few months back and the content comes alive bcse we now know what they were facing. We can read btwn the lines and are at ease bcse “hiatus” for BTS is “hiatus”, and not a 1-D game
It was so much! they were taking very hard and daring decisions while fearful ARMY would abandon them (like some have, moving on to other K-pop groups); making a bet on soloist careers; all the freaking politics around their military service and the K-Pop ind using them for getting a universal exemption (didn’t happen), when B7S wasn’t asking for it. The battles with the Western music industry using them but still ostracising them
They were smart, strategic and daring in their career decisions. Their label and BangPD stood by them, as did ARMY.
Wether recognised or not, during the last year and a half BTS have changed the meaning of “hiatus” for good; have shown a group can have their members do solo work, covering most genres, and each be extraordinarily successful without affecting the group’s dynamics,. They also demonstrated that their success isn’t “manufactured”, each member is an extraordinary musician and performer in their own right; so together they are a marvel.🪷🪷
Everything they’ve achieved since that dinner is well deserved, and I’m in it forever

This Proof Live is one of my favs and for some reason it hits differently every time I've watched. I've only been Army for a little over two years & although I've been voraciously consuming BTS's music, there's still so much content I've not experienced yet, so I'm looking forward to watching your "military catch up" content with you & even hope to join your patreon soon. Hi Sir Austin! The Debut Showcase that is mentioned in this is the Melon Debut Showcase that was filmed on the 12th and aired on the 13th. It was supposed to be their debut performance, but a spot opened up on M!Countdown due to another group dropping out and their appearance on that show being moved up a week (Did I already tell you this? I may have, sorry lol)

I love your BTS reactions. Love your husbands too (I'm old so they are like sons to me). I don't know if anyone else has this issue but for me the video audio was very low but your commentary audio level was fine. I had a hard time hearing the talking parts on the video.

I think you might like Silk Sonic. Anderson Pak's partner in the band is Bruno Mars. Like you said, "Yet to Come" is hard to listen to right now because of the emotional weight. I'm sure I'll like it a lot more in late 2025.
Good luck with the surgery. I have had melanoma in the past and it can be either a big deal or not a big deal. Of course, there are other skin cancers too. Anyway, I hope it goes well for you! Take care of yourself! Thank you for reacting to this. Yes, that FESTA dinner as around the same time as this - in 2022. Just have tissues ready for part of it - towards the end. Most of us were in horrible shock! Then Jung Kook came on a day later and did a Lonnnnng solo live on VLive or Weverse (can't remember which at the time), and set the record straight. Whew! Anyway, if you ever put that up on TH-cam, I'll watch it too. As for catching up, I'm pretty sure they've created enough new content to keep us fairly busy for 6 months, so you might not have a full year-and-a-half to catch up. I'm in the same boat but I don't do reactions.
I do not like the camera work on this it's so bad it's never on who's singing/rapping properly it's all over the blasted place it's the only thing that annoys the heck out of me.
