Ok, I don't have anyone to share my interest in my Chanel makeup, especially my excitement about the holiday collection. So I will share it here, as you all will understand. OMG! It arrived in UK and I already had an appointment, made a couple weeks ago, at the chanel counter for this day! I had my makeup done, from basics to the end. I was really looking forward to this collection. And it paid off. The quad is awesome, the highlighter beautiful. I ended getting those and 3 lipsticks. And a few extra few samples. Happy face now! :)

I bought the quad and the highlighter and I love it all. Then I went back and bought the dark burgundy single and I have to say, it's a winner. I use it as eyeliner as well. By the way, I put the highlighter on with my fingers for a more intense payoff. Amazing!!!
Thank you. This is a beautiful look. Its fantastic how you always do a couple of looks with one palette. I wore my palette last night and i used all the colours and teamed it with Jungle Green eyeliner. It really made my blue eyes stand out. It's summer where I am. I look forward to your next look.

I missed you! I bought the hi-lighter and have been wearing it everyday. I like that it is harder in the pan and not so powdery. I can really be strategic about where I put it - zero fallout. I am really looking forward to the Spring collection. It looks beautiful. I heard that they are introducing new lipliners in 2020 as well. That is long overdue!!

I bought the highlighter and the chestnut red nail lacquer(Richness). I'm in the UK and Boots (owned by Walgreens!) here launched it today with 15% discount. Boots has a good loyalty card and I had points coupons as well so tomorrow I should have enough points to redeem on the Deepness nail lacquer. I skipped on the quad - I have so much eyeshadow and just splurged on the TOM FORD Soleil Neige collection quads. I'm undecided whether to buy any of the lipsticks. To be honest I love last years Rouge Allure Velvet in No.5 and it could use some more love this holiday season. I also absolutely adore Tom Ford's F***** Fabulous red lipstick. This year's gold and black casing is gorgeous but not sure whether II can justify it. I'll pass on the gloss, as gorgeous as it is as I have last year's Holiday Rouge Coco gloss in 812 (with shimmer) and the previous year's in 784 (opaque gloss). Every holiday I haul out my red lipstick collection and pretty much wear it solidly daily in the 5-6 weeks running up to Christmas. Your video has reminded me to get my red lipstick and gloss collection out!
Hi Lala! I love Boots 😍We have a similar version in Canada called Shoppers Drug Mart. I completely understand what you mean about the quad and the lipsticks in the collection this year. Sometimes we just accumulate so much that it's hard to justify purchasing more of the same items.
Allison Chase absolutely. I decided to be a bit more selective this year, looking at what I already have. Your eyes look beautiful. Did you pick up the Khaki Intense Stylo Yeux? It has piqued my interest as khaki eyeliners aren’t easy to find. I have a question about the nail lacquer in Deepness. Can you see the deep green when you wear it or is it more black? I love wearing Celebrity and that’s black as black gets. I just wonder if it’s worth getting Deepness if it’s almost black.

@@petshopgirl39 Hi Lala! I didn't get the liner because it didn't pique my interest like the other items but I've heard that it's a nice product. Deepness does show green, but it depends on the lighting. I found that in natural lighting it looked more green and at night it just looked dark.
@@petshopgirl39 I went to that one in Le Marais and also at the 31 Rue Cambon boutique. I think that the beauty boutique in Le Marais is better though.
Great look. The shadows look quite creamy. I just managed to pick up the palette and highlighter online from John Lewis. It had already sold out in my local John Lewis store (uk) which amazed me as it only reached the uk yesterday. I like to buy from John Lewis as I get a 25% discount plus it was on a 15% price match so I am very pleased with the overall discount. I like the look of the nail polish!

I got the quad and both single eyeshadow and the singles are just beautiful. The red is a beautiful color and not satin but the gold is a very soft shimmer. I think you would love the singles. I didn’t get the highlighter.... yet.

Dear Alison, how long stays this quad on (oily )eyelids with or without a primer? I usualy use Urban Decay original primer. Which one you sugest to use with this quad? You are beautiful with this red lipglos. It really suits you. Thank you.
Hi there! I also have oily lids to I always use a primer. I use to use the Urban Decay primer but it stopped working for me so now I use the NARS eyeshadow primer. With the NARS eyeshadow primer it stays on for several hours, it lasts all day.
Such a pretty look. I have the quad and wore it for the first time yesterday. I wore the light olive/gold shade all over the lid for a simple look. So pretty on brown eyes. Also purchased the highlighter. So pretty but doesn't show up too much on my complexion. However, this is the case with most highlighters. I don't know what it is. It seems like my skin just soaks up the highlighter to where it's hardly visible.

Hi Randi! I'm sure you could combine both palettes together. I would start by placing a darker matte shade and then a adding a shimmer shade from this holiday palette.
