Hi friends! Surprise upload! NOTES: The Rouge Allure Laque stayed on for several hours after application included meals and drinking. After about 8 hours all that was left was a lip tint, but there was still colour.
I totally agree about the magical formulation of Chanel blushes!! It's like whatever color you choose, it always ends up laying on the skin as if it is your own flush! Also, that blush color looks so much like a lovechild of Nars' Orgasm + Torrid to me!
Maybe we in Northern America complained too much about the Chanel Fall Launch that Chanel said No you will not receive them! The blush looks great and useable with many makeup styles. Clean and natural. How would you compare the highlighter from Christmas 2020 (a peachy tone too) vs. the new combo for spring 2021?
It makes complete sense that Coco Chanel was a Leo - emitting radiance and luminosity for all the world to see! I wish Chanel would produce some light lipsticks like Tom Ford did some years ago. (His Blush Nude is my most prized lipstick - I save it for special moments) Chanel lipsticks are inevitably dark - browns and reds like most other lines - colors I absolutely cannot wear. However, both those lipsticks look stunning on you. You have marvelous coloring and clearly know how to work with it. Impressive.
The look is so airy and pretty. Last year’s palette doesn’t look too different from this years. Looks like it has a shade that more shimmery than what the current looks like but same color story. Thanks for sharing. I definitely want to try the velvet lip.

I have been watching your videos for about two years and often go back and watch the same videos over again because they are so good. Sometimes I buy products at launch and don't open them for months or even a year. Then I remember your video and go back to watch it again for application tips or suggestions on complimentary products for a specific look - i.e. the Warm Memories pallette and liquid eyeshadows. I remembered you showed multiple options for how to apply the liquid shadows. I just opened them the other day, and looked up the videos before I attempted to use the products.Thanks for your insights. P.S. you have lovely facial features, and your curly hair texture and dark hair colour is so beautiful and silky looking. Makes you stand out.

Hi Allison, I was going to skip the eye palettes, but now that I know we won’t get it, I want the golden meadow 🥺😂 The blush palette looks goooooood. Especially with all those red palettes I have, this will be the perfect match. Chanel lipstick prices have gone up now. All of them are $40 USD now. It used to be $38. Even the lip glosses are $2 more now. The eye makeup remover is also $2 more, sublimage eye creams $20 more. The price change is same for Chanel.com, Nordstrom, Macy’s. The les beiges healthy glow lip balm initially released for $20, then they reformulated and added moringa butter and priced at $25, now it’s $30. 😌 It’s very hard guessing shades for the laques. I’m eyeing on 64 exigence or 66 permanent. If the lighter shades are sheer, then they won’t work for me at all. 80 timeless doesn’t look see thru. Thanks for your video! I’m so disappointed that the eyeshadow palettes won’t be available here in North America! I saw Angela Van Rose’s video with them, and they’re absolutely gorgeous! I had planned on picking up at least one of them.😞
I’m currently living in Europe and am always missing items from Sephora Canada. I think this is a first that there are items available in Europe that I do not want to purchase. The new Chanel palettes Golden Meadow and Bouquet Ambré do not appeal to me. The Rouge Allure Laques are new to the site and I like some of the shades. The Fleurs de Printemps blush and highlighter duo is stunning and tempting to purchase. A ‘no merci’ to the Metal Terracotta mascara and a ‘maybe’ to the nail polishes. A really nice video ❤️

We got the whole collection here in Australia which is strange because we usually don’t. I picked up both eye palettes - it was too difficult to choose one they’re both beautiful. I also got the Le lion lipstick in beige ardent, it’s gorgeous and a great comfortable formula. Im on the fence with the blush/highlighter duo but you’re making me want it now 😂 I’m currently really loving the Le laque lipstick. I only have one shade 63 ultimate but I definitely want to pick up more. I find the laque is long lasting and comfortable and great under a mask. Great video Ally, I hope Canada will eventually get the eyeshadow palettes, I think they are colours you will love.

Chanel junkie here in Michigan. I recently purchased the Rouge Allure Laque in 61 Continuous and 62 Still. Both are nudes and I do enjoy their staying power. It's a nice change from my typical Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue. Another recent addition; Rouge Allure Velvet 237 Beige Ardent (Le Lion packaging). This color leans more to a brown nude (see a theme 🤣) with the finest gold shimmer. I do find this formula to be conformable for matte lipstick. Otherwise I am on the fence about the new blush/highlight combo. Being that it's limited edition, I feel that I "need" it. However, I already own several Chanel blushes and the Baume Essential in Roseé which is FABULOUS on my fair skin. So torn. I did purchase the holiday Les Chaînes de Chanel illuminating powder blush. Seriously, I really don't need another cheek product 😭
I love the look you created on your eyes, it pairs perfectly with the palette you tested on your cheeks. I am not convinced by the eye quads from this collection anyway.
I'm so glad that you compared the blush to Malice. I have Malice and they are close enough that I will skip it. Conspiracy theory ahead (LOL): Maybe the fall pink palettes didn't sell as well as Chanel hoped, so they decided to withhold these from North America in hopes that that would create more desire for them. Then they'll release them here. Ha! Anyway, I bought the Metallic Bloom nail polish. I should get it tomorrow or Tuesday and will let you know what it's like. Looking at the photos, it looks like a cross between Radiant Red and Radiant Arancio. I loved the Radiant line so I grabbed this one. It does look very summery so I'll probably swatch it and then put it aside for when I'm not freezing. Sorry I haven't commented recently. I've watched, but I got slammed with an infection/surgery and am still recovering. Was sick the entire month of December. Ugh! Mary

@@AllisonChase Hi Allison, I got the Metallic Bloom polish and I love it! The color is a reddish orange and the formula looks the same as the Radiant line. I don't know why Chanel decided to call it a metallic. I have one nail done in Metallic Bloom and the next nail done in Radiant Rouge Noir to compare the finish, and they are the same. Metallic Bloom is a bright, summery color that will make you dream of wearing your orange or your white bathing suit while floating on a turquoise sea because you're a Mermaid like that, so be warned. LOL.
I received my order a couple hours ago, the lighter pallet and the blush/highlighter. 😍 Loving it. Alrady on my face. I will get the other pallet and a couple of the lion lipsticks. The timeless lipstick is beautiful!

The blushb/ high lighter is so beautiful on your face! I tried to get it (Toronto) but no luck😥 the lip is nice on you as well, but let’s face it with your porcelain skin and gorgeous black hair how can any colours not look good on you.

Laura Miller That shade "Elegance" from CHanel is still available in Europe. I've just been on my Polish website of DOUGLAS parfumerie and there is on it! It's nr 370.
I have asked Chanel associates why they eyeshadows are not available in the US and they seem VERY hush hush about it. Like it’s a secret. It makes me think there’s some kind of FDA non-approved ingredient in the palettes that caused them to not release in the states. That’s the only explanation that makes sense.

Why are they punishing North American? I was waiting to see how it looked on you! Beautiful!!!! I’m still on the fence about the La Laque lippies too! I do like that color; and, I think that might be one of the biggest things holding me back. I just don’t see a color that I truly bond with....which is unusual for me....being that I am a bit of a lipstick whore.🤭 I’m definitely going to be getting the blush, mascara, and probably both of the lipsticks. I love the formula and all of the red shades. I have the whole Le Lion collection-I think it’s beautiful and like you I already had two of the shades. This collection is a No, merci from me. I LOATHE velvet, mattes & pinks. The blush looks lovely on you, but I’m so fed up with all the reds and pinks that I’m on a firm no buy until some designer gets over their love affair with Barbie, bubble gum, Chinese New Years, and mummified lips. Another recent addition; Rouge Allure Velvet 237 Beige Ardent (Le Lion packaging). This color leans more to a brown nude (see a theme 🤣) with the finest gold shimmer. I do find this formula to be conformable for matte lipstick.
Otherwise I am on the fence about the new blush/highlight combo. Being that it's limited edition, I feel that I "need" it. However, I already own several Chanel blushes and the Baume Essential in Roseé which is FABULOUS on my fair skin.
So torn. I did purchase the holiday Les Chaînes de Chanel illuminating powder blush. Seriously, I really don't need another cheek product 😭

I love the look you created on your eyes, it pairs perfectly with the palette you tested on your cheeks. I am not convinced by the eye quads from this collection anyway.

I'm so glad that you compared the blush to Malice. I have Malice and they are close enough that I will skip it. Conspiracy theory ahead (LOL): Maybe the fall pink palettes didn't sell as well as Chanel hoped, so they decided to withhold these from North America in hopes that that would create more desire for them. Then they'll release them here. Ha! Anyway, I bought the Metallic Bloom nail polish. I should get it tomorrow or Tuesday and will let you know what it's like. Looking at the photos, it looks like a cross between Radiant Red and Radiant Arancio. I loved the Radiant line so I grabbed this one. It does look very summery so I'll probably swatch it and then put it aside for when I'm not freezing. Sorry I haven't commented recently. I've watched, but I got slammed with an infection/surgery and am still recovering. Was sick the entire month of December. Ugh! Mary

@@AllisonChase Hi Allison, I got the Metallic Bloom polish and I love it! The color is a reddish orange and the formula looks the same as the Radiant line. I don't know why Chanel decided to call it a metallic. I have one nail done in Metallic Bloom and the next nail done in Radiant Rouge Noir to compare the finish, and they are the same. Metallic Bloom is a bright, summery color that will make you dream of wearing your orange or your white bathing suit while floating on a turquoise sea because you're a Mermaid like that, so be warned. LOL.

Lovely makeup look as always Allison, blush is gorgeous on you! Think I'm gonna skip the spring collection as I'm happy with the Les chaines illuminating blush I got for the holiday 2020 collection. Weird about the eyeshadow quads, in Europe we didn't get the lighter quad from the fall collection available at all. Strange how Chanel picks and chooses for various locations!

Thank you! I think it's similar but also different. Malice has more of a sparkly finish whereas this has a satin finish.
Oh, and the metallic bloom nail polish reminds me of the really metallic christmas gloss they introduced in 2018?2019? I don't have it but I remember the pictures. I just got to the portion of the video where you were comparing metal peach highlighter and the new which I requested below. Thanks for doing that. There is a difference. The coral might be a nice inbetween peachy-pink for me to enjoy. I will think on this. Not limited edition?

Hmm they are two completely different shades. The chain one from the holidays is a plum shade, whereas this one is a peachy coral shade.

I have asked Chanel associates why they eyeshadows are not available in the US and they seem VERY hush hush about it. Like it’s a secret. It makes me think there’s some kind of FDA non-approved ingredient in the palettes that caused them to not release in the states. That’s the only explanation that makes sense.

This collection is a No, merci from me. I LOATHE velvet, mattes & pinks. The blush looks lovely on you, but I’m so fed up with all the reds and pinks that I’m on a firm no buy until some designer gets over their love affair with Barbie, bubble gum, Chinese New Years, and mummified lips. Ewww! Yuck! Ask me how I really feel 😁 Wake me up when the brown-based shades come back.
