Its a new era in the NBA. None of the three biggest stars in the league: Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James, will make the second round of the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2005. Its been nearly 20 years since one of these three didn't make the second round. With the majority of the remaining teams being led by up and coming stars like Luka Doncic, Tyrese Haliburton, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, and Anthony Edwards... It truly is the end of an era.

Portland Elvis
Futuristic George Washington cut

If I were to say one quote to sum up the playoffs so far it’d be:
“The future is now, old man”
Dewey 😂
WHERE IS MY RAPTORS VID 😢
WE DONE WITH THE 2010’S
See? Now that's an accurate statement.
What are you talking about? More players flopping, load management, super teams, these are all things beloved by 2010s NBA fans….
@@awc6007 super teams are dying out
@@awc6007superteams have always been a thing. Whether it’s a homegrown well drafted superteam or a formed superteam. It was never just a “2010s” thing, that shit goes all the way back to the 80’s, maybe even 2 decades before that. Also, I don’t think anybody likes the flopping or load management, idk what kind of fans you be around who seem to like that shit
@@awc6007superteams are dying, flopping techs are encouraging not flopping, and the 65 game rule has players playing more games than they have in a while
I love the fact that all these small market teams have amazing young talent. I actually think the NBA has never looked healthier. OKC, Minnesota, the Pacers all relevant with great squads, the Knicks are relevant again, add Boston, Denver, the 76'ers, I personally have never seen the talent pool spread so evenly right across the NBA. Its so good
Rockets and Spurs are also getting better in the future.
Crazy that the Knicks are the only big market team in a good spot rn unless you count Boston as a big market
76ers?!? They got nothing in common with the young guns and zero chance of winning anything.
Don’t forget Sacramento, Dallas, NOLA & Orlando
@@lifeisshrt7929 Yeah Orlando is gonna be a defensive juggernaut in the future.

this cut 😭🙏🫡
Dear Milwaukee fans,
I wonder how it must feel to trade 3 1st round picks for a past his prime point guard to compliment your other 2 All-stars only to have those two best players out with injuries just when the playoffs come around.
I would hate for people to start to slander your team for the turmoil that surrounds the team on and off the court.
I can only imagine if people were to start discrediting the championship your star player Giannis just because he had bad injury luck ever since.
I wish I could somehow understand what y'all must be feeling right now.
Sincerely,
A former Nets fan

It's aight maybe next season dame and giannis can atleast go to the eastern conference finals

The cut is insane 😂😂
Kawhi is also kind of falling off of a cliff and nobody’s talking about it
Because no one is suspended except delusional clippers fans. It’s been the same story with kawhi and the clippers ever since he went to LA: start the season strong, load manage along the way, and somehow be unavailable for the playoffs. Rinse and repeat for 5 years now. This was their best chance with how good they were in the beginning, and it’s not looking good against the mavs
All them Clips; PG ain’t shi…Harden inconsistent, Russ is…Russ. All will be out the league soon.
@@CorePathway Nah, PG is still a decent all Star caliber wing that can be the 2nd option to a contending team. He’s great at spacing, and his game isn’t too heavily reliant on athleticism. He’ll probably be fine.
@@naoikeda9472 There is a youth movement; look at Minnesota. They have 3 defensive monsters who can still pop for 15-20 for less than one Old Guy Max contract. Phoenix and Clippers are gonna be irrelevant for a long time.
@@CorePathway oh yeah, if you think I shave the clippers winning, hell nah. I’m just talking about how PG is probably the only one out of the old gen on the clippers that can transition well into his later years.
This postseason really does feel like a changing of the guard. A lot of people are knocking the older players/teams for losing to the younger guns, but it was bound to happen at some point. That's just the natural flow of generations: when one dies out or starts to die out, the next one takes over. The new generation of the NBA has been in place for the last several years now. It seems like this postseason has been their coming out party so far. It's amazing to see.
Almost a decade after Warriors 1st chip, they have a new stadium, have become popular worldwide. It’s crazy how a trash team/organization can turnaround in just a decade. Who’s next? Minnesota? OKC?
You mean the warriors's 4th chip they won 3 back then

As a casual, the only time I care about basketball as an on court product, is the playoffs. I love seeing new faces and the stories. The fallout of failure, the what-ifs, and the rise of future legends. Excited for the second round.
ANT is likeable because he is a true leader. He praise teammates and opponent ,He is accountable.
He is cocky but with style. If KD being trashtalk by a young Lion and not be offended, he is a Face of the league material.
Luka is just like that, too.
He knows when to turn it on and off.
He plays with competitive joy. Kinda like hockey players who will buy you a beer an hour after trying to bash your head in. Ruggers too; we love that attitude.
So Nuggets fan, and i reaaally hope we actually get the ring this year because just think about the headlines next year. The Ants and SGAs trying to stop a dynasty. Shit would be amazing.
I’d love it 😂
Another masterpiece guys! Also thanks for helping me feel a lil less crazy as I commented on 1 vid and the guy said Bradley Beal's No Trade Clause wasn't relevant in trade talks. Well you guys highlighted that along with his salary/lack luster production as to why Suns are in an interesting spot👍
The Luka/Jokic disrespect is unreal. They ARE the face of the league. THEY ARE.
The best players are not always the faces
Media wants Tatum
Facts
@@keandredennis6838Only because the media is xenophobic. They could've easily marketed Giannis, Jokic and Luka but kept spouting anti-euro rhetoric instead.
Even still they keep sucking the air out of Ant's dick but he's going to be playing second fiddle to Wemby for his entire career.
They should be, media wants an American face.
Aside from Boston and Denver its gonna be mostly all new faces as we move onto the lightning round of the playoffs. Last fall, Pretty much nobody would have predicted Bron, Curry and KD would all be watching games on TV at this point... Not to mention Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Miami all getting bounced in the first round... Crazy times.
Nah we knew Miami’s wasn’t goin to do nothin
Bruh the way you guys filmed this makes me want to cry😭, you seem so saddened it’s going to end soon. Yea damn br 🙁
I just saw a clip of Anthony Edwards being asked where he learned his slow step euro move and he said it was Luka Garza who he got it from. Dude is actually learning things from the 12th man on the roster and giving him a shoutout. That's a team player right there.
What I like most about Edwards is his infectious smile. When he smiles it so adorable and charming. Also…
“Send da video”
that sounded so gay ngl
I love when you listed off the previous legends you guys still included Wade and Melo who were drafted the same year as Lebron!
So much talent...
Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, Luka, Ant, Wemby, SGA, Chet, JT, Brunson, Hali, Maxey, Booker, Zion, Ja
I feel Spida deserves a shoutout too, guy is so electric (i'm a jazz fan and i delusionally want donovan back)
Sixers fan here-thank you for being so ass Markannen comes over in the off season🙏

A hill I’m willing to die on: KD was smart to get the hell out of OKC and win those two quick championships. The alternative was to sit in OKC and lose year after year until his career is over. He was never going to win with The Thunder.
I 100% agree with this. I have long argued that KD going to Golden State only improved his legacy amd that without him Curry would have 2 less titles. That Golden state team wouldn't have beaten that 2017 Cavs team and they wouldn't have got past the 2018 Rockets without KD
@@liambethell2584in 20 years ppl don’t remember the narratives or the storylines they look back and they see accolades. Kd made the right decision and other superstars should follow in his path

It sucks the era is coming to an end but on the bright side this gives smaller markets a bigger chance to succeed with Dallas, Denver, Minnesota, Orlando, Indiana, OKC & Sacramento (assuming they make the right moves) & San Antonio (when they build a good team around Wemby) all having a bright near future/future
but i’m excited for the new stars to shine more/are coming up- Luka, SGA, Wemby, Brunson, Sengun, Paolo, Trae, Jokic, Giannis, Chet, etc
Dallas isn’t really a small
Market lol
@@skywalker2676 in terms of the NBA it is, besides ik some ppl from dallas that say the cowboys mostly get ALL the media attention when it comes to their sports teams, the Mavericks aren’t talked about much in general to the whole media coverage

Ayyyye my boys got a sponsor

It's funny yo hear young men talk about basketball and only go back 15 yrs or only when LBJ was in playoffs 😂. But hey, I guess that's why I'm an 83 baby, not a "00 kid. Good comment, young man.
Man you only watched the lebron era.. you are in for a treat, some of my favorite nba was pre or early lebron
I find it interesting that since basketball is a lot more centered in a single country and it has all the rules about how a player can join the league, it takes a lot longer for these new stars to show up. I love football (soccer), and now a days we see a lot of 16 years old kids making a splash and painting out a new generation a lot sooner
I hope these small market teams can keep the talented players they have. It's only going to make the league better.
I'm a little bummed that the Clippers just lost but the West is about to be some great basketball to watch.
At this point whatever team comes out of the West is going to be the team to win it all
My boy went to the barber and said "lemme get the Jimmy Neutron"😂😂😂
2022 was truly the end of LeBron Curry KD Era
Why everyone forget about the grizzlies ja morant jaren jackson jr and desomond bane is a young upcoming dynasty
I swearrrr how quick people forget 🤦🏿♂️can’t wait till next season so everyone can be reminded how good they are and how ja is a generational talent
Ant isn’t cocky. He’s confident and he backs it up. He’s also very humble, after the game he’s always giving praise to his teammates, opponents, coaches etc. that’s why he’s so like-able
Timberwolves can be a part of the new era for drama and entertainment. They’re a up and coming team onto a winning culture and the power struggle between Taylor and arod. It will be one heck of a story for the Timberwolves to win it all this year.
The thumbnail on this video might be the greatest one in recent synthetic sports history.
Giannis, Dame, Curry, Kd, Bulter,Kawhi, and Lebron all from that 2010s are gone out the playoffs 😭
Watching w clips down 20 in the 4th. They out too
Man this is great for the NBA! So many teams with players that have the potential to be generational talents!
These playoffs may be some of the most competitive and exciting I’ve seen in a while, with young, up and coming teams in OKC, Indiana, Minnesota, and Orlando. I’m excited to see which young star is going to take his team to the promised land! 🥶
it's an end of a era right ?!
dont make a superteam rn.
We have tons of new blood that can be the face of the league soon
And i do hope this new batch of nba players are not like, complacent
I’m just glad that guys like Bron,Curry and KD aged gracefully.Their careers won’t change due to horrific injuries and they won’t be playing in some weird jersey as a shell of themselves coming off the bench or something.
When Lebron, KD, and Curry retire. It won’t take 2 seasons for people to fill in their place with new names. Look at the NFL. Tom Brady was the undisputed face on the NFL for the longest time, and yet immediately after he retired, people started to praise Patrick Mahomes, and not just Chiefs fans. I remember as a kid everyone praised Brady, Manning, Rothelisberger. Then not even 10 years after they fell off/retired, It was Brady, Rodgers, Wilson. With Brady eventually making way for Mahomes. And Wilson making way for Joe Burrow. My point is the old greats have to “move over” and make way for the next generation, and this playoffs is a perfect scenario for that to begin.
As someone who started watching the NBA this year… that cut is fucking diabolical
Next season, they all gonna team up I'm detroit
“Tatum, who doesn’t necessarily feel young” but he’s 19 😂 (as a joke)
I'm surprised they actually lasted this long at the top
I’m excited the new era starts with Edwards vs. Jokic. Imo the guy who may be the best player in the league in a year vs. the current best player in the league.
Bro don't leave Luka out the convo. As if Mavs beat OKC it will be a Luka vs Ant or Luka vs Jokic
The New York Knicks, a massive market that has long been the doormat of the NBA, now also finally have a superstar in Jalen Brunson and a team that can be competitive for a long time.
I think we’re gonna have to have curry, KD, LeBron run it back together.
No defence, only offence, only injuries. Nothing in between.
Glad to be born in the Lebron-Curry-Durant Era (2003-2024?)
WHAT ABOUT JALEN BRUNSON
Barber gotta get the chair for that cut
I know a lot of nba fans between 20 and 35 years old. I want to say i dont know a single person who has fallen out of love with new basketball, even people who complain still love the game and watch and a also realized a lot more fans who didnt watch in the lebron curry durant era are now returning because of all the parody in the league. Parody always does a lot for ratings. When your team has a stake its a lot easier to watch for more moderate fans
If Jokic wins his 2nd chip he’s definitely going to be the face of the league. He’s basically going to be the seen as the gate keeper for all the younger players
The end is inevitable, Maverick. Your kind is headed for extinction.
Maverick : Maybe so, sir. But not today.
Yea
its over and I like it LeBron kd and Steph and are all goats and legends they got me in to ball my first time I watch basketball was game 7 2016 finals its the jokic giannis luka ant shai Tatum era next era gonna so great as well
As a lebron fan i have to give jokic his props and murray just hits such important shots. But before people hate on him he averaged 27 still which davis supposed to be the one to take the keys and be the lakers best player but mans is unfortunately a career second fiddle. Wild now we in a time where the knicks is in the playoffs and lebron not in the finals. Either way the next era looking very spicy. Also anthony edwards and brunson is some of my favorite dudes to watch so for the first time i can say i am excited for the next generation of basketball
Guys I’m not saying he’s going to be THE best player over all these younger guys, but how does Paolo Banchero not even get a mention? Bro was ROTY and took Orlando from not even making the play-in a year ago to making the playoffs to a game 7 against Cleveland with a shot to get a series win. And all while averaging 25 points a game through his first 6 playoff games. Plus, Orlando is the 4th youngest roster in the league with cap space and draft picks.
That US Olympic Team looking super suss considering whats happening in thr playoffs 😂
Darvin Ham just got fired but we all knew that. Lebron told the Lakers and Rob to fire Coach Ham
Ja Morant going to save us
Imagine not mentioning Brunson on “new stars” for the entire video, but talked about the guy he beat
What about that lakers play in tournament win?
Salute to Bron, Steph and KD. You've been great but it's time to go. No one is eternal. The torch is being carried on by the next generation
Kawhi, harden,pg and Russ are probably getting eliminated tonight
And harden, PG, and Russ have no rings to console themselves with
Ant isn’t cocky at all he’s just extremely confident and raw regarding his personality … he’s not trying to be like anybody or live up to any “standard or stigma” he’s just being himself
Crazy how everyone just forgets about Ja 😂
Kawhi russ harden pg too
Is this the first sponsorship? They’re really getting out there

“Scoot Henderson throwing lobs to Cooper Flagg”💀💀💀
To put into perspective, Lebron James entered the league when I was in kindergarten and I'm now approaching 10 years out of high school. This is crazy
Bro it doesn’t matter if the ratings are drop.
Sometimes people care more about the parity of the league than just watching same superstars dominating the league
