While viruses are obviously horrible, it's honestly pretty fascinating and fun to see them put some real effort into making it a full blown experience, like an artform. It could just fuck everything up without all the theatrics, it doesn't have to be fancy or pretty, but they just had to go the extra mile. Fuck them for every innocent machine they fuck up, but props for usecases like this exclusively

It's very unlikely you would get infected just surfing the net. Albeit not impossible, but going to well known websites (your bank, you tube, walmart, amazon) it is VERY unlikely. If you do sail the high seas, that's when you need to be wary and have a good anti virus program. Install a good adblock, and call it a day.
