Hello everyone! I hope you are all well. As you know I am out earning my living at the moment. I can't tell exactly where I am or what I am doing, but I have positive proof for you that bearings do not like seawater! They are a bit worse than those I removed fro the Harrison Mill! Take care you lovely lot and I will see you soon.
@@carlwilson1772 yes Carl, much improved with normal blood pressure and managed to lose about 2 stone by cutting carbs to fight of the neo diabetes! I feel good! Phil
@@carlwilson1772 yes! My daughter is deep in a literature review for her biology masters at the moment, but finishes in the next few days, and we will get one together after then. I hope to be back in the workshop late feb to early march weather permitting. Phil
Completely. There is no provision for lubrication of the bearings and the machine they are from is an object lesson in bad design. I may modify the pins the bearings run on, to allow grease to be pumped in. That's if I get the go ahead. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it.

Hello Carl,
That sounded rough... Most things done like seawater other than dolphins and suchlike - lol.
Take care.

You are not wrong Phil. The worst of it is they have only been fitted for 2 years. I hope you are well my friend.

Yup, that's probably just about reaching the technical state of 'knackered'.
