Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit

  • 2 & 1/2 cups of self rising flour
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tbs baking powder
    1 cup of heavy cream
    1/2 cup of whole milk
    1 stick of frozen butter
    Sift 2 cups of flour in a mixing bowl, and in 1/4 tsp of salt 1/2 tbs of baking powder then grade the frozen butter into the mixing bowl with the flour. Next add 1/2 cup of milk and 1 cup of heavy cream and lightly mix until everything had come together. Flour the counter top with about 1/2 of flour and dump the dough onto the counter. Work the dough with folding and patting but do not kneed the dough. Pat the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Use a cookie cutter and cut out the biscuits. Preheat the oven to 400 f and bake the biscuits until they become a golden brown.
