Does anybody remember when America was filled with companies like this? Even though i will never be able to afford something like this i think it is awesome to see. Thank You for staying true to your roots and i wish you guys the best!!!!
It still is you need to come to Boston we got all sorts of companies making things from robotics like my company to aerospace parts and even high precision parts for satellites
@MidwestCoupe Because the US was not affected by war and it had a large influx of foreign genetics. Other countries surpassed the many decades ago now. You have only fans and influencers now though. Big issue in the US is the failure to use standard measurement.
Years ago I was pleased to call one of Enstrom's pilots friend. Dick Hanson was a test pilot and A&P as well as CFI. I flew with him a number of times and was super impressed at how the Enstrom helicopters flew. I was a Cobra pilot in the military and that was what I had to compare to. Dick was my A&P for my airplane as well. Wish he was still with us. He was a great person as were all of the other Enstrom employees that I had the opportunity to know. I am glad to see that the company is back in business after their trials in recent years.
You tube hit this video with a compulsory 4 min hoody ad, Don't even bother watch= its TH-cam attempting to extort fees for a reduction in adds. Apart from that, Thanks to Airboyd for a great video on Enstrom. I could not get enough of this one.
Learned to fly in a 280FX Shark complete with it's off the shelf drive belt, with its squeaks. Never spilt a drop blood in the UK. Three blades allows an inside loop. A most forgiving helicopter, laid back and just grins and bears it if you make the odd mistake. My instructor Dennis Kenyon knew Rudy and was the first pilot to perform an inside loop.
Neat video. Amazing plant. Reminded me of Helio Aircraft in Bedford MA where my Dad was Chief of Design working on the Stallion mostly....late 60s-70s They fabricated almost all parts as well....Happy to hear sales are going well.

"I like the story and history of the company." 👍
That's a beautiful helicopter.I've been in several of them building.I've heard from the guy that maintained it.They're kind of hard to work on
Used to work with Todd Tetzlaff, very good guy.
I agree!
💯👍🏻
Flown many helicopters. Robinson Hughes are sports cars, Bells are Cadillacs , Enstroms are friendly pick up trucks Sikorskys are simi trucks
Thats control system iit's same like Cicare control ?
I guess you never had a Bell shaft apart, and the spelling on the video is very distracting.
🤷♂️
i just discover , nice concept
