hi. i was trying to download team fortress 2 but it says i dont have enough disk space. can you make a video of what to do to get it running properly? i use the hp chromebook 14 that youve mentioned in a video where you can play full on steam games by doing something in linux. please help.
I am an android user and love android, but when it comes to smart watches. There is nothing beats an apple watch period. For me I choose a hybrid smart watch and actually have 2. The withings sport and Garmin luxe. I like the hybrids better. 1 have real hands and look like a watch 2 hate dead screens and having to flick the wrist etc to see the time. 3 last longer between charges and 4 still have all the fitness features and notifications 4 much simpler and no sluggish or crashing performance. I have tried samsung, fossil and none of these came even close to the apple watch. I would rather buy a cheap iPhone and get an apple watch rather than these other abdroid or sansung watches as all are far behind apple. It's the best and only decent smart watch out there by a long way. But for me after trying all these smart watches I much prefer the hybrid. Look much nicer and look like a traditional watch and no dead screen. Back in the early days they had led watches which had dead screens and had to flick your wrist to see the time and because you could not see the time consistently and poor battery life where not popular. It was only when the lcd screen watches came out then digtail watches become popular. If I wanted a full smart watch I would go for the ticwatch. Have an always on lcd watch face. Tap the screen you get the normal bright colour display. Also most smart watches take up to much room on your phone as many watch apps need to be stored on your phone also as well as the watch. So down load an app to your watch needs the app on your phone also.
Honestly this is a really solid review. No extra bs as someone said before. Just you talking concisely about the pros and cons of the device. Exactly what I needed. Thanks!
A smart watch with a pair of Glasses (like 3D glasses) that would enable the user to see a 3D Hologram from the watches mini projector that would enable a Floating mirroring of the Screen to watch TH-cam (at the size of a 40 inch Tv) and also the ability to use hand movements to push a text conversation to one side of your vision and the TH-cam vid to another while still being able to see Your surroundings that would be Cool and the glasses legs to have Bone conduction technology so you wouldn’t need headphones and so Sound leaking and with the glasses You would see cool Advertisement from objects in everyday objects that have a mini projector and have Bluetooth 6.5 Transmitting audio to the bone conduction of the glasses and the ads would Be targeted to you because of the data the watch would transmit (Due to user agreement)
needs to be said also that the Google Wear OS App consumes a LOT of battery in background on the phone. And in my opinion Google Wear OS in general is still in Beta Version, I experience a lot of OS problems on my Gen 5, including problems with Bluetooth connection that goes off sometimes and "Ok Google" is not working in other languages apparently (German in my case). I guess I have to reset factory it again and see if in English is all working
Grat review! I hope the 6th gen will get the new snapdragon processor which is in works and the OS will be refined till then. I was hoping to see a Pixel watch but maybe next year.
@@Eevnos yeah, I heard that too but in the other hand I think they might just pushed it to collect more experience with 3rd party hardware vendors and will still release a Pixel watch in the future. They wouldn't have bought Fitbit if they don't have plans in this way I guess 😊
TicWatch Pro has 1 GB of memory and EASILY can last 2 days without having to turn off features. As battery life goes, it's the best WearOS watch out there IMHO.
I agree the Ticwatch Pro does last a bit longer (depending how you set up both watches), but it's significantly slower than the Fossil Gen 5. Part may be the RAM as the TicWatch Pro only has 512MB, not 1GB.
Yeah agree is slower than the fossil gen 5. Also would not last me 2 days if I had a ticwatch. Want a smart phone to last cannot beat the withings sport or zetime. On withings get at least a week without charging and light use get 3 to 4 weeks. On zetime get 4 days of moderate usage with message notifcations and all day tracking as well as sleep tracking and don't need to turn stuff off. A smart watch with physical hands is they way a battery lasts the longest. Pity more dont use this. There was rumors that Samsung was going to use physical hands as well as OLED. This is what zetime does. A full oled screen and hands in the middle.
I have a TicWatch pro sitting in the corner and I am very pleased that I switched to the Gen5. It simply runs snappy and smooth not like the TWP. With TWP screen Timeout many times kicked in before the app started
Sent mine back crap at speaker calls.. all i got ws ehh eee.. ooooh... ahhh. but sounded great on music .. ? !! then I noticed it was a bit lagy when turning the dial it laged behind.... only thing it is usful for is NFC GPay .. sorry the software is just noit there yet and is limited...
I think if apple opened the apple watch to android they would sell a bundle or and kill of wear os. Apple watch is the best out there, so if it was made android compatible would get one in a heart beat.
I agree on concept, but in practice using the Apple Watch with Android would kill it. Part of what makes it so good is the solid echo system that Apple has and the tight integration, of both the hardware and software, on both the watch and the phone. There's just no way Apple could achieve that same level with an Android device.
@@Eevnos they would only have to enable you to sync apple watch and enable to set it up with android. Once it's set up works independent of the iphone. You only need the iphone to connect afterall anyway? Can you not load apps from the apple store on your watch? Or am I wrong? It would not be hard to allow android users to at least enable you to set up the watch and sync through apple health for fitness. If other smart phones can do it for both system then so could apple.
No doubt you would need to wait 5 hours on it yo charge, update iTunes, restart your pc, trust your browser, restart again, download some stuff, enter a few codes, update your pc OS, reset your Apple password, choose a different one than you current one, yes that one that didnt work a minute ago, switch the watch on, set it beside iphone to set up "automatically", restart phone because it doesn't work, reconnect it to pc, update phone software, download the new iTunes that was released 5 minutes ago, recharge watch, recovery phone from backup then reboot everything and you will finally be able to set the time on it. Then you can go a cycle and the watch will die at the bottom of your street 🙄
The specs are still conservative to say the least when there's loads of those full android smartwatches with 3gb of ram, 32gb of storage and running that 64 bit Mediatek processor going for a lot less then these.
@@moochincrawdad a smartwatch is a device running a dedicated software in a form of a watch. WearOS, Tizen, watchOS, FitbitOS. Android is not designed for watches.

@@moochincrawdad it's a miniaturized Android device nonetheless. You cannot compare a device running full Android to a smartwatch, because they're different. Android cannot technically run on 1gb of RAM, that's why you have 3gb.
A cell phone accurately acquires GPS through a hybrid method using intersecting cell tower connections and GPS satellites to give a rapid location reading. Devices that do not use cellular signal rely only on GPS satellites to triangulate a position. Depending on ionospheric interference and satellite positions this can be almost instant or take several minutes, it is not unique to this device and will be a problem for any smartwatch you buy with built-in GPS.
Absolutely fantastic watch utter spoilt by wear os. So much so.i got.rid and went with watch active 2..which is also great but not as athletically pleasing as the fossil.5 or as fast and smooth but way better software experience. Such a shame as the fossil 5 gets the hardware side of things dead on par. Google , sort that pile of crap you call wear os out! It's utter garbage.
Wonder why they just dont use full blown android like Lemfo do and some of the other Chinese smart watches. The Lemfo does not use wear os, but full android 7.1.1 with sim card capability so they are basically a full smart phone on your wrist? Why does android not use full blown android on their smart watches? It's better than wear os as you can download any android app from the store. Think it's far more useful and better than wear os and before smartphones took hold on the west. China has been making these watches for years before and contain full android even with camera and most had and still enable you to install your sim card for less than half the price of say the ticwatch pro lte version.
Unfortunately I've never used a good watch with full Android on it, Android just isn't optimized for that use. All the devices I've used we're very slow and horrible battery life.
