In the MAT 2009 question 4, part iv, the question asks us to find "the" value of x for which |QP| is smallest. Aren't there two solutions (+ or - 1/sqrt(2) ) in part iv also, or do we need to neglect the negative value for some reason that I am missing?

Thanks - that's a typo in my version of the question on screen. It should say "values", and it did in the actual exam! ^James

Sorry. It should be available in 720p now. Should I work on upgrading to 1080p? I'm never sure how much difference it really makes, or if people actually watch youtube videos at 1080p. ^James

@@OxfordMathematicsPlus Thanks James. Believe it or not, there ARE many pupils from China watching this. I am using it as an alternative resource for them for self-study.

@@OxfordMathematicsPlus Also, do you have any other links to download the videos, as we have to rely on VPN to access these videos. My VPNs does not respond well to TH-cam, or any other tools to download.
