This class has always been solid for what it's intended for, and that is some high quality bossing power. For ages, their main issue has been poor mobbing which has gotten virtually removed as of the recent rework, so if you have ever been on the fence for this class, go for it! Definitely agree! The mobbing was always everyone's complaint, but it's not so bad anymore! I'm thinking about trying to revive my Hero! Though the things I loved about the class are gone, I'm willing to try and enjoy this new Hero! The things I liked about original Hero: - Charging up orbs in order to unleash them all in a single attack, whether that was Panic's insane single target damage, or Coma's very strong mobbing+stun - Using the orbs in general I miss old Hero, but the game, and time has changed so Hero adapted to it and became such an amazing class for it! I just gotta let go of the past and enjoy the present Hero~
Gotta say, im kinda sad they didn't take the combo orb's concept farther, at least in the older versions of the game, or the concept of forsaking defenses for more power, like actively removing chances to dodge, or even accuracy in favor of damage, kind of like anarchy stacks from borderlands but i guess accuracy also doesn't really matter in the current game. last thing that bothers me is that i don't really think GMS likes axe as much as swords... as in, a hero will always be a MC type a character, and not just a barbarian with an axe that slashes mobs, maybe because the class is called hero. but again, all of that doesn't really matter, they have arab for that IG.

Tbh despite the hype of DW post ignition, the only advantage I feel they have is the self bind (could be my bias towards hero’s aesthetics and mobbing style). All things considered, for bossing mule up to normal lotus/damien at this point, which do you think I should go after?
All good~ I love answering questions! Hero has an available every 20 seconds, and massive burst damage with a relatively short cooldown. Dawn Warrior applies a really good debuff to bosses that helps the whole party, is simple to play, and has great damage as well! So really, they're both similar, so go with aesthetic. Or, if we look into their 6th job skills, hero might be the better choice since it's a shorter animation on the origin skill, with heavy burst damage. While DW has a much longer animation with good damage as well, but longer animation can be a hinderance.
how do you take like no damage, im lvl 202 hero and monsters 10 levels lower are still hitting me for 1k+ most of my gear is pensalir with 10 stars min
Having more arcane force lowers damage further. You can hover over the arcane force bar to see how much your damage is increased as well as how much the incoming damage is decreased
@@KyoWantsCute i would like to point out that the tooltip for insizing/puncture has been incorrect for years. What you think says 10% crit damage, actually means +10% damage when an attack crits. This tooltip error has not been fixed for many years now and if often misinterpreted.

ky are you watching me makes new chars for legion or something.......so for the burning world i did all 3 warriors so there all not funded other than the maple Armour you get. and the hero was awful to play it was so slow its damage seemed soooo low compared to paladin and dark knight. by the end of all characters getting to 150 i could do normal horntail with ease breezing from 140 to 150 in no time for pal and dark.........still leveling hero because it cant manage N horntail. my first comment was because recently i did the thiefs and you did the nightlord video and i did all 3 of them also XD
Lol! What a coincidence! Hero's meant to be the strongest of the 3 warriors due to combo attack giving tons of attack, final attack, and boss damage. But it lacks crit rate, so maybe that was why.
@@KyoWantsCute the one that suprized me the most was the dark knight. its 4th job att that only attacks 3 enemies omg that is strong i normally try the hardest monster park at 105 and you have to have good gear to get through it but dark knight breezed it chucked from 105 to 120 in no time XD paladin was ok but not quick enough to kill the mobs dident even try with hero. what is your favorite of the warrors

The leap attack is useful in lotus, when the portal shoots you upward u can directly land on the floor instead of going up high

Hero may not have the best mobing but its one of the strongest dps, one of the strongest dps in bossing makes up for the lack of efective mobbing .

Question: Do you use 1-h or 2-h for hero?
2H unless you're super end game with a perfectly scrolled and 22* shield. Then you can use 1H. But for most of us, 2H is the way to go

depending on what you choose your inner ability will be diffenrent, 2H will be +1 attack speed, 1H will be 20% boss dmg

I mean they have what used to be called Rage, which gives 30 attack. But yeah, when they debuff an enemy the enemy takes extra crit damage
