Now that's awesome. My little brother use to build these crazy layouts. Tbh if Magnum xl was to be reimagine.. this would be best layout with the 10 car trains and that pretzel not. I'm looking forward to see more of your recreations, so I can share with my little bro💯
Hello. I’m new to coaster building and I was wondering if it was possible to paint the parts and track. However I wasn’t sure if this is something that shouldn’t be done with as the coaster sets aren’t made anymore.
Hehe, I couldn't tell ya as these aren't my K'nex. But as K'nex parts are getting more rare these days, especially for their coasters, I would say it's a nice investment!
@@3dcoaster I would estimate around 500-700 dollars, as the Phantom's Revenge recreation that I'm making probably has around ten thousand pieces, which is probably 100-150 dollars. K'NEX is really not that expensive (at least compared to lego)
@@3dcoaster do you have any tips for 3d printing micro K'NEX trains? I'm planning to 3d print the trains when I build taron from phantasialand, but I've never 3d printed anything before.
you allready tested bearing types, now you gotta do 2 other tests.... one for optimal weight of a car and one for optimal leanth of train. would be cool to see what weight plus leangth gets the most speed and distance
This coaster was built from K'nex pieces (trains are custom though). This is a very large and custom coaster, but all the track and supports are K'nex pieces from their Screamin Serpent roller coaster sets and others from that era of K'nex. Have a good one!
@@netalix8365 Hay Thanks so much! Be sure to follow Coasterwriter as well, he's the one who created the coaster and I was able to help him out with some parts of it.
I want to build a coaster through my garden but do not know what kit to buy how much I need or anything I want to do just an out and back coaster bout 30 feet long can someone help me
That would be pretty neat. Building outside has its challenges so you'd want to make sure whatever you do can withstand the weather. For instance, even though this coaster looks to run fine outside, it took quite a bit of time to clean the tracks and train wheels for it to make it around the track. The Knex system is probably the most resilient to the elements, so if you can snag a couple kits and use their stock trains that's probably the best place to start.
Hey. I told you that I was working on a K’nex Arrow Dynamic Viper a couple months ago. I have since focused all my time on a Millennium Force Recreation. You should check it out on my channel. Let me know what you think!
Loved watching the long train snake around this beautiful layout
Hehe, thanks!
Nice! I forgot how cool that 10-car train looked! Excited to finally see this one posted!
Haha, yes! Thanks for your help filming this one as well!
This gives you a idea how big these roller coasters can be.
I love how the length of the ten car train makes it look almost serpent like as it traverses through the course.
Thanks, and good description! Yea, the longer the train the smoother the movements become
Thats what i love about inverts no matter the train size
The pretzel knot is so dope I forgot about that 🔥
I used to work at Cedar Point and got to watch the Xl200 everyday. What an amazing coaster
Super cool!!!
Thanks!
Don't know how I ended up here but glad I did I even subbed 😅

Hey, thanks so much! Love that you share these with your bro!
Need a 30 car train
Coming in 2024 - Magnum debuts Tivoli trains
Love the coasters
this is fucking awesome.
Thanks!
It's exciting and satisfying to look 😀
2:00 10 cars
Forget the magic seat on the 10 car, the back row first drop would be insane airtime
Wow really cool. Didn't know Knex was still something others did. In fact, I just built a knex ariel atom with suspension and a bike yesterday
I hope you can reach 10k subs this September. I love your videos please make more of them.
2:26 so much ejector in the front car :D
You know people live for that rollback scenario 🎢 Very cool channel….I just subscribed 🙃
Where do u get all these knex costed parts if knex only made the screaming serpent coster
Wow...bellissimo tracciato ...ma come lo hai realizzato... è stupendo...bel video... ciao dall'Italia

So how where you guys able to make it ok for the knex to stay outside in all the weather?
Holy crap!
how much did this all cost?

Hello I wanted to know where did you buy your pack for your Rollercoaster ?
Zu geil
I'm planning to 3d print the trains on taron, but have never 3d printed anything. Do you have any tips?
I hope this masterpeice is re assemblable
Me here trying to imagine the airtime you get in that back seat😂😂
awesome! I'm surprised the elements haven't wrecked it.
Everything is actually quite sturdy, including the trains which came as somewhat of a surprise to me!

What do you do with the tracks when it rains
How long so the ball bearings wheels spin for using your finger?
Are you considering uploading the train model to thingaverse?

Thing I learn is that more mass equal more speed on downhills and loses less quickly on a straight
Where could I get the parts to design one by myself ?
Is this meant to replicate Dorney Park's Steel Force? It looks super similar
It is quite similar, good eye!
In this case though the trains are modeled after Magnum XL-200 from Cedar Point in Ohio.
Where can I buy it ? I want a roller coaster like that all aroud my room. Could you please tell me where do you bought all the pieces please ? THX !

Can we get a POV?
You're in luck! My friend Coasterwriter made this coaster and has a POV here: th-cam.com/video/b6-uS6SkuNA/w-d-xo.html
How do you build this
This is like OpenRCT in real life
Hi I just liked and followed
Man has the space for this, but not a B&M hyper…
