1. Little India Little India is a vibrant district that shows off the best of Singapore’s Indian community. From spice shops to incredible Indian cuisine, this place is a feast for the senses. The colorful house fronts, the street food, and the temples make this place a must-visit. Don’t forget to visit the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, one of the oldest temples in Singapore.
2. Kampong Glam Kampong Glam is a neighborhood rich in history and culture. Known as the Malay-Muslim quarter of the city, the centerpiece of this area is the impressive Sultan Mosque. There are also plenty of trendy boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries in the area. Haji Lane, with its narrow alley full of boutique shops, is a particular highlight.
3. Chinatown Chinatown in Singapore is a sharp contrast to the rest of the city, with low rise buildings and culture bursting out onto the streets. From the fragrant smells of traditional cuisine to the bold red and gold tones that run through the neighborhood, this is an area steeped in tradition.
