I just came across this video 2023. 1st time I have seen the same V i bought in 83 with flame maple top , same rounded headstock. Im sorry I was late to the gig... RIP.
I sooo wish I could have just seen him live once.... He does your heart good... AWESOME guitarist... and a beautiful soulful voice... RIP... Micheal... ❤🎸🎼🎸
I worked in a blues club in Buffalo NY . He played there a few times and headlined our blues festival.but the very first time we saw him everyone stopped drinking and just stood and watched , in awe . It was incredible and this was an audience that saw everybody who was anyone in Blues music , including Papa Chubby , Tab Benoit , Guitar Shorty , Bill Perry , the Sauce Boss and so many more . RIP Buddy
What an ambassador for peace and love. You can hear the man speak from his heart if you listen to other videos. Started playing in joints at 6 years old. Was the stand in when he was 12 and 15. Said he learned to play music by ear. The problem with the world is we all have eyes. If we were simply blind there wouldn't be so much hatred in this world. We are All made of dust
A person can only truly live and be filled with the blues for so long.musicians are filled with it and half to let it out for others, while others are blessed by it,take it in and it nakes them happy..funny how life is
I have to come on here at least once a week to get my feel of him. I'm so glad that there is video to pass on. I followed this guy all over. Miss you my friend!
There are guitar players and then there are great guitar players whose instruments are a medium from the spiritual to the physical world. Michael is and will always be the latter. God, what a soul! God, how he could communicate to us in that "other" language..."feel of him"...you got that sooooo right, Rhonda! Thank you for putting Michael in those words, darlin'. And thank you, +fenixcriollo , for posting - great quality. And thank you, Michael for not being just a dream...
Rhonda Avellone I do the same. As I posted on guildx700's upload of Can You Feel It, the wife and I bought the From the Inside Out CD after the first of the thee times we got to see him play. It was at a little bar, now gone, across the street from the police station in Little Rock, Ar. Michael and band did an "Iron Man" version of Can You Feel It the first time we saw him. He broke two strings and didn't miss a beat and kept playing, I am not exaggerating when I say that song lasted close to 20 minutes. It was phenomenal, I was in awe, and that song still makes me cry to this day.
damn, it's always really nice to discover someone for the first time. you know it' always live videos, they sound a bit crappy sometimes, not quite right but they have so much in them I bet if I went to go listen to the studio version it wouldn't have that power.

EACH HOTT PERFORMANCE SPEAKS LOUD AND VERY CLEAR.WE KNOW WHY HIS LIFE WAS SO VERY SHORT BUT YET SO VERY HARD ! HE HAS BEEN TAKEN !!!! NOW
