Aspen Highlands Colorado, Blue Bird Day Hiking The Highland Bowl to 'Be One' / 'Ozone' -- 10 Feb 23

Amazing Blue Bird day after some great fresh snow over the previous few days. Spent the morning exploring the Highlands resort and waited until after a hearty lunch to attempt to hike the Highland bowl. It was in the lower 30's that day, but with the sun shining and no wind in site, I had to shed the mid-layer before trekking up the ridge. I took the 'Be One' line for the first hundred feet or so and then traversed back towards the 'Ozone' line. You can see the bowl already was tracked out, but it didn't matter with how soft and amazing the snow was. I highly recommend doing the hike if you are on the fence. It is so rewarding and you get a sense of why it is the Highland Resort's Crown Jewel! -- 2020 Rossignol Black Op 98s, 174 length
