    Kudos to Mom for letting Brody be who he is and letting him express himself. He is awesome and a great dancer. Don't put your kids in a box. We shouldn't define them by gender roles let them decide what's right for them and who they want to be.

      Keep it 💯 and tell all these soyboys the truth:
      Women want men. Protecting, defending, breadwinning, calloused, handy men. You'll coach all these guys to be sensitive tea sippers, but you'll friendzone the sh!+ out of them while you talk about your boyfriends! 😄

    So good to see children being allowed to explore themselves and discover their own identity. Dress up is a part of dance and Brady is expressing his interpretation of the music ❤️

    • @fatlacesthedon
      @fatlacesthedon 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ...he is 4 years old... He doesn't know what most of the lyrics mean to "interpret" them. I hope he is exploring himself and not just trying to please mommy. Could you imagine this kid turning 14 and then making a video titled "my mom made me wear dresses" saying something along the lines of "my mom started recording me dancing when I was a baby, one day I said I wanted to dress like mommy and she went and got all these clothes. When school started up and I saw what everyone else was wearing I felt alienated and people were calling me brave when my ma just picked what I'd wear, I didn't tell her for the longest because she was so happy and proud and I didn't want to hurt her, but I just didn't feel comfortable lying anymore."
      You know how many people change their style after the age of 4? I think there's a medium between "here's what you are supposed to do" and "do whatever you want, I'm gonna post it up on IG" you know... Like... Parenting

    My son loved to do whatever I did to myself. If I put mascara on, he expected some too. If I painted my finger nails and toenails, he expected for his to be painted too. He liked to play barbies when no one was watching.... which is so sad and wrong. He was a little child who loved everything life has to offer. He’s now 22 years old and is going to law school. He gets to be whoever God intended him to be. There is absolutely nothing feminine about my son and if there was... I would still love him just the same. Great job mom and dad for allowing your child to be himself. God bless everyone here!!❤️

    • @fatlacesthedon
      @fatlacesthedon 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      "There is absolutely nothing feminine about my son" why are you making femininity negative? What you should say is "my son chose who he wants to be" not "he exhibits no traits of which a woman is generally associated with... Oh no! I'm not stereotyping gender roles, I'm just saying my boy's a man because he isn't into the things he was into... When he was a boy... Take that ya bigots😎"

      Parents are allowed to say no. They're supposed to want their kids to avoid confusion and negative imprints from childhood. If they keep going like this, their child stands a greater risk of body confusion, fetishization, dysmorphic disorder, depression, and then later drug abuse and alcoholism.
      Good luck to this kid. He's going to need it.

    I have to say, for all the haters out there talking about how this four year old child isn’t picking the dresses, well, when I was a kid, I played with a neighbor boy because we BOTH loved to play dress up and he had the best dress up clothes! He fought with his mom to go to GOODWILL and buy more dress up clothes. He ALWAYS got to wear the best fluffy slips and I was always so jealous! (I) wanted to wear those but they weren’t mine. And one day I remember his mother trying to take those dress up clothes away from him and he had THE BIGGEST MELT DOWN I had ever witnessed. He was 6 and I was 7. I also have granddaughters who had the same kind of melt downs about what they wore when they were four so....stop the hate.

      I agree. He doesn’t care now which is beautiful, but as a teenager that may change. Bullying is real and he shouldn’t have to deal with cruelty just because his parents want to show him off. if he wanted to dance she could have just as easily showed us the videos of him as a boy and saved the videos for her family of him in costumes. If and when he decides he was ok and is old enough to understand the consequences/rewards with showing them then fine.

    Why is he being put in dresses? I don’t question the dancing just the fact that he is only 4 and is being dressed like a girl.

      He wanted the dress. The whole point of this parenting is to not force anything, so why would you think they forced a dress??

    • @b-head6961
      @b-head6961 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nicole St. Louis I don’t think they forced the dress just that they should actually let his mind mature until he’s able to make these decisions on his own. He’s only 4. If he is 14 and still wants to dance in dresses than by all means let him. But he’s just so young. That’s all I’m saying y’all.

    She reminds me of those women that let their kids get extremely overweight because they can't deny them food.
    No thumbs.

      it's just a kid, let him have the freedom of not wearing pants :) especially for some of his dance moves where pants would just be a nuisance!

      I used to believe that...
      but it does hurt people. People who's agendas are opposed to this.
      Not now of course...
      But later. Sorry but there is no way for me to look at this from a neutral standpoint. What's coming to America and many parts of the world are going to require the strength and benefit of traditional male values, and traditional men.
      Not men who tend ro to run with the women and children under pressure.

      You gave an "agenda". Yours is that certain people wear certain clothes others cannot. Grow up and enter the 21st century please. There’s more difference in what people wear than your apparently not-well-travelled self realizes. In Benin not wearing pants is manly. I conduct Broadway shows for a living and this is what the theater looks like. Keep your gender shame to yourself prude, and stop trying to infect a child with your weird gender hangups. That is cruel and sick.

      You seem like you have some interesting points. I find it's better to let your points stand alone by themselves. Otherwise, time spent defending allegations of being a prude,and potentially being cruel to children could be spent questioning your points....
