Today I unbox the Taigek Orca also sold as Mavllos OCKA, this is UL and BFS rod available in 3 sizes on Aliexpress and apparently available from two vendors/brands.
This is one of the cheapest rods you can get with this type of large taper.

It's the same rod, the price/shipping may differ for different locations, but I can tell that Mavllos as way better packaging and customer support

What is the difference between this and the Plum?
The plume is overall a better rod I have the spinning version and it's much more capable on the lower end of cast weights.
Basically what I mean is that the price increase from this to the Plume is justified.
Ricardo quick question. mavllos orca or handing magic L?
Finishing in the Magic L is better, feeling in the orca(the blue one not the one with the redish grip) is a bit better. But they are both pretty good for the price.

you think this rod is better suited for jigs or hardbaits? and how does this feel fishing a 8gram lure on it? thanks in advanced brother.
Hard baits with trebles, for jigs I would look into the Mavllos Ultima I have tested already and videos should be dropping in soon.

that ultima looks like a great rod btw. first time ive seen or heard about it.
It will work, I've gone with 6grams against HEAVY current, but the rod will be already loading a bit

Look in the basslegend cranks on Ali they come with very thin and sharp hooks out of the box. With that rod they will set themselves on the hook 👌
