My uncle had one of these back in '63. I was 14 at the time he took me for a ride in it and really got on the gas. I'll never forget that ride. I've had a lot of fast rides but that one stands out as unforgettable.

Thank you for bringing back such wonderful memories for me. In 1965 my Dad brought home a 63-1/2 Galaxy XL 500 with a 427, 4 speed. It was factory metal flake gold with a white top, white interior with bucket seats and floor console. It was special ordered by the owner of our Ford dealership in Sarasota, FL. He would take my older brother and myself out for cruises...he was a drag racer in the 50's and early 60's and had even bought a 1957 Fairlane Custom with the factory supercharged 312 brand new. I loved that Galaxy and in 1976 I had a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback with a Holman-Moody 427, 4 speed and 9" Locker Rear. One thing you were wrong on was the red line...the cross bolt main 427's would easily wind to over 8,000rpm all day long as they were developed for NASCAR and turned that on the track. I reved mine to 8k when racing for 3yrs and never hurt it. I wish I had seen this when you first put it out as I would have have bought this fine ride in an instant. Thank you again for the walk down Memory Lane and for the sweet video.

I have a picture of my father as a young lad standing in front of a brand new Ford Galaxy that was my grandparents first new car!. It was the same color etc etc.. I constantly here my dad talk about getting one and having it restored to original condition. So I think that I have found the perfect Father's day gift for him and hope that I can pull it off. I never met my grandparents/ his mom and dad but he speaks so kindly of them and I'd love to give him a constant reminder of them because they sound like they were amazingly hard working and as loveable as he is.. Anyways wish me luck on this task and I thank you for sharing this with us all!. 🙏🙏🙏
Many years ago while still in high school, a buddies dad bought him a brand new '63 Galaxie, two-door sedan (sleeper), 406, 4-speed. My buddy had the coolest dad in the world!
Every little town had a Ford dealer. The brother of our neighbor ran one in a tiny town in Coles county, IL. He special ordered a ‘63 Country Squire 9 passenger with the 427 dual 4bbl and 4 spd. tranny, through his brother’s dealership. Beautiful car. It had the blue XL interior with buckets too.
My goodness I'm DROOOOOLING!!! That is just incredible. You know some shine runners utilized this exact car. That exhaust tone is to die for. Damn I wish I had the scratch for that ride. Truly a dream bucket list check off.
Sweet. I never had anything like this beast, but I was a junior in high school in 1968 and had a '63 Galaxie 500 XL 500 2 door with the original roof and factory bucket seats, automatic in the floor, dual glass pack exhaust, 352 engine and many of my friends wanting to buy it from me! Loved that car. Thanks for the memories.
Beautiful Classic in every sense of the word. It is wonderful that some collectors of classic big blocks were able to preserve both the factory 427 and 1963 Hardtop in perfect condition.
My friend had a 63 1/2 Galaxy 500 fastback. I had a 63 Impala SS. This was in 1984 so even then nobody had cars like that. He had a 289 3 speed on the column, black with a red interior just like this one, so no matter what the motors were, to actually just own one of them was really great
Okay, I'm a old fart. So, back in the day. My buddy Joe had a '63 Galaxy 500. Came with a 390. He found a crashed 500XL in a wrecking yard, with a black interior. Bucket seats, console, etc. We got the whole interior out of it. It was black and perfect. We managed to get all of it in without mishap. He pulled the old 390, which had a lotta miles, and was showing signs of old age. He rebuilt the engine with a mild cam, 11 to 1 pistons, porting and a nice balance job. This old car surprised a lot of people who thought that they had fast cars. I still remember the throaty sound when you stamped on the "loud pedal"
TheRatshooter - Nice post about home made muscle car / sleeper. This would be a great thread to start ie "My favorite sleeper". In 1967 I talked a gear head buddy of mine down the street to build a wicked sleeper. I found a 57 Chevy 210 4 door post in light green that was owned by a school teacher in our neighborhood. He went to a wrecker and bought a nice 427 Corvette motor and rebuilt it to near radical street machine level. The car had dual quads, headers, full flow muffler system, 4-speed, posi, racing clutch, big radiator, scatter shield, very beefed up suspension and brakes, tach and gauge panel ect. Except for traction bars, wide rear rims, and cheater slicks the cars appearance was bone stock. I don't have to tell you a lot of guys got a nasty surprise. I think the most beautiful thing about that car was the sound coming out of what looked like little school teacher stove bolt. The best part was the investment was minimal to build a bad ass machine.
David h must know a lot about gay stories to make such a stupid comment What a DUMASS thing to say Put down the video game get out of your mommies basement and go become a “real boy”
I wish they still made Ford's like this. Long gone are reliable badass race cars of yesterday. No computers no bullshit just all-out 427 Madness power. What an awesome example
my friend has a 63 1 /2 ... black on red, 427 cu with 2 - 4 barrel carbs, factory 4 speed and it only has little over 23,000 miles too. original paint and interior. Telling you guys, its something to look at up close and hear running. Beautiful ride !!
My God that's beautiful! One of my favorite Fords from the '60's. I really love these '63 Galaxie's and black with red guts and that running gear is perfection!
Was 8 years old when my Dad came home one day with a brand new 63 Ford Galaxie 500 he bought for my Mom. He bought it off the showroom at Frank Dore Ford in Whittier, CA. It was a floor shift automatic with a 390 engine and bucket seats. That car stayed in the family over 30 years and was a hot rod the whole time.
I bought a 1963 1/2 Galaxie 500 fastback in 1986 the year after I graduated high school. Black with Black interior 390 with a three on the tree. I put in a four speed in it and some traction bars and it would scoot . I've had a lot of good times in it over the years and I still own it and I'll never sell it.
Great looking '63 Galaxie Ranch Wagon running around Portland, Oregon. Dropped just a bit and it is just stunning! I like the high quality interior that was available in this era Galaxie. Love the insides of early '60's Pontiac's too and would also love to get a '62 Catalina 421 SD.

Hello all, seeing the comments wow! Yes it originally was a 352, but it is a real deal FE motor stuffed in there. It is as hotrod as it gets for the 60s. It sold within 1 week of listing it up. This was one of the cars I never wanted to sell. I appreciate all the kind words from the gear heads all around the world. It does have extensive race history, and was signed by some of the greatest. This car was a blast to film. Sorry Im young and can afford and drive all these cars while you haters type your rude comments. The best part is I love what I do and get to drive something different every day. I built this company from Nothing and if you have to dislike and tell me how to film my cars, I think you should go buy some of my inventory and show me how to do it properly :-).
BulletmotorsportsInc Darth Vader's personal hot rod, Lol. Seriously though, that is one bad-ass, sinister looking ride right there. Great job, bro. Screw those idiots, they're jealous.
Very nice car. I’d sure love to have it. Screw the haters. Most of them couldn’t afford an original 427 Galaxie, anyway. Some of them probably drive a mimi van or their mom’s Camry.
Man, I love this car. It's "all business!" No frills, "dog dish" hubcaps, blackwall tires, no dash chrome, AM radio, bench seat, and it top it off, it's not even a Galaxie 500, just a plain Galaxie (some of those "stripped" models were called "Custom 400", I believe, at least in '64). They were comparable to the Biscayne or Bel Air in the Chevy lineup. To top it off with a dual quad Ford 427 FE is just over the top!
A great car. I've seen a very few at premium prices. You mentioned the hood. Most 63 & 64 Galaxy 427 had a raised hood to vent heat with some having a center bubble hood. If memory is correct. It also provided more height for the tall air cleaner covering the high rise intake and air cleaner. I believe the single quad 427 was rated at 410 HP and ran quarter-miles around 14..0 remember. This is a big and heavy sedan. I'm not sure about the dual quads 427 (full race engine) other than it was rated at 425 HP. Thanks for sharing a great piece of history
What really makes this amazing is that FoMoCo did not get into performance in the 1960's until Lee Iacocca came to the helm and started dropping V-8's in cars in mid 1962. For the Falcon, the 144 straight six was the standard engine until 1963 and their first V-8's were just 260 small blocks. I restored and owned a 1963 Falcon Tudor with a 144 CU six and it was a putt mobile:)-John in Texas
I had a 63 Comet station wagon in dark blue. It had a 260 V8 and a 2 speed automatic. I loved that car and still think it was one of the coolest vehicles I've ever owned
That's not exactly true. They had supercharged 312 "Y" block motors as options in 1957. and a 430 c.i./400 hp MEL available up and down the Lincoln/Mercury line in 1958. The FE engine started life as 332 c.i. and debuted in 1958 which was the basis for all the variations of 352's, 390's, 406's, 427's and 428's. Yes, Robert Strange McNamara had to go. He walked in one day and made the command decision to tone things down by forcing engineers install two barrel carburetors on Lincolns and everything. All this when everybody, including FoMoCo, was on a tri-power kick, among other things. Talk about having to "work around" an individual!
Wow! Nice car. This took me back to my memories as a young boy growing up in the 60's. I remember when my brother-in-law was dating my sister back then (she was 12 years older) in a red 1963 Galaxy. My younger brother and I would sneak up on them while they were in the car making out. What a hoot that was. Thanks for sharing this.
I drive a Chevy but I have always appreciated the Fords , Chryslers and AMCs . I am in the engine machine shop business and get to work on some really cool stuff . Can't even begin to list all of the engines I have rebuilt . That is one really cool Galaxie , would love to drive it . One of my friends has a 1969 stepside pickup with a 427 SCJ in it , it is one wicked ride .
This was my neighbor's first car. One time, a police officer actually pulled him over asking if he could have it. The exhaust was a CRACKLING sound every time you revved he said.
My father owned a '72 Chris Craft Commander... with twin 427, 4 bolt main engines "rated" at 300 HP factory.... ya, ok.... that boat weighed 12 tons, with a semi displacement hull and would get up and cruise at 28 knots..... like nobody's business. AMAZING POWER and reliability.
Love those Ford's! In 1975 I bought a 427 with a rod broken on the small end and wrapped around it's neighbor wedged between the counter weights... rebuilt it at Junior College auto shop..stuffed it in my blue and white 59 Galaxy with a three speed and overdrive...scattered that tranny on the first full power run. Went a wrecking yard and got everything from the bellhousing back for $250.00. Put stock full hubcaps on the car with only cheater slicks hinting at what the car was designed to do...sucker 327 Chevy's into street races they had no chance of winning....A 63 1/2 Galaxies with a 427 four speed with 3 K miles could be bought off a used car lot in Santa Rosa for 2900.00 at that time..good old days for sure!!!
I am a Chevy guy but..Fords did have some good ones, of course they stopped making the better engines....427, 289, 351 clevland, 429 semi hemi. Nothing beats the sound of a big cam in a ford.
My older friend had one. He invented the Tarantula twisted intake where the carbs sit a little sideways. He ended up as head mechanic for Mercury Marine after working on the newer corvette engines. Quite the innovator. It was a wheel stander and the car I learned to drive in. What a ride, he usually ran Cheater Slicks on the street for cheating.
OMG I was thinking the same thing! I’ve driven some old single circuit drum brake cars and even when they’re “right” it’s still terrifying to drive ... especially when you have big power sitting up front.

Big Bill O'Reilly.... I was a young guy in the '60s but I couldn't afford a car until '74 when I bought a 1964 Galaxie 500 (289, AC, Etc.) with 32K miles in MINT condition (except for the cracked head, heads in the trunk) for $50. Still miss that one.
In 1962 I owned a 59 Galaxie 352" with a three speed & overdrive. I was offered a blownup 427 out of 63 1/2 Galaxie...broken rod wrapped around it's neighbor and wedged between the counterweights...cost me $75.00. Rebuilt the engine in Junior college machine shop with used parts. Installed it and after break in put my foot in it at a stop light... scattered the three speed...went to another junk yard and got everything from the engine back out of a wrecked 427 car...cost $250.00. Put stock wheels with full hubcaps on it with a set of Lutz cheater slicks.....passed it off as stock...left the column shift in place....had a single Carter AFB with 352 air cleaner and valve covers.. looked stock under the hood....had a blast playing with all 327" Chevys in town. I lived in Santa Rosa CA next door to Petaluma where A.G. was filmed...yes it was like that back in the day!!!
Yea, not many could go bare bones and look this good. I personally like the 59 Fairlane 500 Galaxie. Best looking interior ever. I could also take any from then to 71. Love them all. But none except the 64 would look as good as this 63 bare bones.
Some people aren’t happy unless they’re hating something. Don’t let it get you down. Nice Galaxy! When I was in High school my friends Dad bought A ‘64 from a local Ford dealer. It had bucket seats a 390 cube motor & it was dark green w/ light green interior. My friends & I drooled

Ya heck. Every Sunday, me and my with 5 siblings went to church in a 1960 Ford Galaxy. Brown over white. Spinner hub caps, straight six, three in the tree, no power anything.
One of my favorite cars back then. I saw a 63 406 tri-power sedan black and I liked it better than the 427 fastback. I heard the 406 motors didn't last long because they were bored out 390s? I suppose the 406 was Ford's answer to the Chevy 409.
That repair is right where our 63 Ford Galaxy 500 rusted out. Its a water trap (1 of many on these old Galaxies) and had to be fixed on ours multiple times.

Incredible deep paint and one of my favorite engines too. Long ago at a race engine machine shop where I worked we had a 427 Fairlane Thunderbolt engine for some work and it had "the best" parts in it, including lightweight stainless intake valves and Sodium cooled stainless exhaust valves. It was what I call a "lust object".
So it had the typical truck motor exhaust valves like all Ford-Edsel truck motors regardless of the "performance level". A "lust object" ? Were you "driving" a skateboard at the time?

I constantly here my dad talk about getting one and having it restored to original condition. So I think that I have found the perfect Father's day gift for him and hope that I can pull it off. I never met my grandparents/ his mom and dad but he speaks so kindly of them and I'd love to give him a constant reminder of them because they sound like they were amazingly hard working and as loveable as he is.. Anyways wish me luck on this task and I thank you for sharing this with us all!. 🙏🙏🙏
I had a 62 Black Galaxy 500 XL with black buckets. 406, 4 speed, 3-2 barrels, 4:56 limited slip in 1965. Looked and sounded great!
I am a real Ford Fan, this is a great example of a Blue Oval. Thank you for this great upload.
FORD, LINCOLN "KEEPING AMERICANS WORKING"
Many years ago while still in high school, a buddies dad bought him a brand new '63 Galaxie, two-door sedan (sleeper), 406, 4-speed. My buddy had the coolest dad in the world!
Now that is one STUNNING motor vehicle! Who cares if it's been modded... after all, they are period correct mods. It is absolutely perfect.
Nothing sounds like those big old ford mills!
David h must know a lot about gay stories to make such a stupid comment
What a DUMASS thing to say
Put down the video game get out of your mommies basement and go become a “real boy”
@David H.
Don’t worry about it FuKsTiK
It’s how your mom spells it when she describes you and your metro lifestyle 💋
I wish they still made Ford's like this. Long gone are reliable badass race cars of yesterday. No computers no bullshit just all-out 427 Madness power. What an awesome example
These were the cars of my childhood.
I finally got to have my dream cars
A Shelby Mustang
And a Shelby 427S/C.
my friend has a 63 1 /2 ... black on red, 427 cu with 2 - 4 barrel carbs, factory 4 speed and it only has little over 23,000 miles too. original paint and interior. Telling you guys, its something to look at up close and hear running. Beautiful ride !!
Amazing the people selling cars like this who don't know much about them, this guy is an example!
Oh you you know so much. Thanks for your input. Douche bag
Won't ever forget my father buying his 64, same Color scheme, Black out, Red In..... My dream Car!
No one who races shift by tach, you shift by sound. Awesome car!!
Hell...when you rolled the vent window crank, that brought back memories. Those things were awesome!
421s were bad ass too!!
If Darth Vader needed a car, this would be the one.
He traded this in...and got a HEMI
Had 65 w427 s/o conv.man do I miss that car ..folks today rarely have a clue on the skill it took to handle these Beasts..let alone the mech ingenuity to build one ..today watch a vid Google n put a tuner in n your good ..not back then ...Skills n brains ..what a concept
I built this company from Nothing and if you have to dislike and tell me how to film my cars, I think you should go buy some of my inventory and show me how to do it properly :-).
good for you dude fuck em
BulletmotorsportsInc Darth Vader's personal hot rod, Lol.
Seriously though, that is one bad-ass, sinister looking ride right there. Great job, bro. Screw those idiots, they're jealous.
Well said. I envy you for sure.
Very nice car. I’d sure love to have it. Screw the haters. Most of them couldn’t afford an original 427 Galaxie, anyway. Some of them probably drive a mimi van or their mom’s Camry.
No need to be so petty. You are listing on a publically available site. So you are open to public comment good or bad.
That has to warrant a smile from we “ old timers “ . I’d sure like it in my garage .
My first car was a 69' Buick LeSabre. My second car was a 62' Ford Galaxy, black exterior and red interior.
Had a 63 fast back,,390 ..high school days of the past
Underrated 2 4's was about 475 HP.
Brings back great memories of the 64 Galaxie 2 door fastback 390 I had back in the late '60s.
Wow!
Wow! it looks like my Dad's Galaxy! he had that thing running like a stock car. we loved to go with him on the race tracks around Detroit.
“I’m totally doing that again.”
Me I totally doing that all day.
Well done video thanks.
This was my neighbor's first car. One time, a police officer actually pulled him over asking if he could have it. The exhaust was a CRACKLING sound every time you revved he said.
Too - Too KEWL!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you for making this recording and posting it. Those were, indeed, the days!!
427 is 420-460 hp. With 2 4 barrels you can get 660 out of the cammer 427
Ahhh, the memories..... I spent my youth cruising around in my '63 1/2 500 XL - white w/ red interior. It only had the 289, but it was great!
Me too. Loved that 63 1/2 body. (even with a 289) lol.
Oops! Typo...1965!
My brothers first car '63 boxtop Galaxy and I'm pretty sure a 260 V8 it was a dog
man, what a beauty, whoever bought this car is a lucky person
I loved these cars when they first came out. I still love them.
Whenever I see one I always give the driver a thumbs up.
I am a Chevy guy but..Fords did have some good ones, of course they stopped making the better engines....427, 289, 351 clevland, 429 semi hemi. Nothing beats the sound of a big cam in a ford.
Those FE motors were awesome 👍🏻
The later 429 and 460 was actually a better block, and weighed 75 pounds less somehow.
My older friend had one. He invented the Tarantula twisted intake where the carbs sit a little sideways. He ended up as head mechanic for Mercury Marine after working on the newer corvette engines. Quite the innovator. It was a wheel stander and the car I learned to drive in. What a ride, he usually ran Cheater Slicks on the street for cheating.
first thing i would add is disc brakes and a dual power master, so i could drive it and live to remember it.
OMG I was thinking the same thing! I’ve driven some old single circuit drum brake cars and even when they’re “right” it’s still terrifying to drive ... especially when you have big power sitting up front.
@@whodahellru8124 True dat, the stock brakes would glaze up like a dozen Krispy Kremes... been there, done that, got the shit scared outta more than once!
stop driving like an idiot that needs big disk brakes then.
Frigglebiscuit tell that to the person who cuts you off or runs a traffic signal after you’ve been heating up your brakes in stop and go traffic!
@@whodahellru8124 disk brakes ain't gonna save you from that either. most people can't brake work a fuck anyway, and lock the disk brakes up. abs modules always fail too.
Awesome car. I would have been 15 when this puppy came out. Never noticed them until late 67. Always wanted one but then, I always wanted ANYTHING that had some real balls and beauty!
Now that's what I call a beautiful machine! Thanks for putting together a great video guys!
Grew up with these cars ruling the streets. Impalas and the Mopars and the 500's dang, want those days back
That sound is addictive. Love to hear it at redline.
Was bought one for my thirteenth birthday, it was black inside, and out but I had the fastback rooftop, and spoke hubcaps. Really enjoyed it , went for the mock one mustang then into the thunderbird as I got older. I'm now into wheelchairs, 😆
1963. What a great time to be a young guy.
Until you got drafted and sent to 'Nam.
Yeah that's the one thing that really sucked about that time William.@@williamkeith8944
Still miss that one.
unless you were black, gay, atheist, got drafted, etc....
Frigglebiscuit yeah well those are things you would want to be normally besides black but just in case you didn’t know not everywhere was racist bud
THE best looking FORD of the '60s, '70s, 80's ... aw heck ... Best looking FORD since 1958 ...
Yea, not many could go bare bones and look this good. I personally like the 59 Fairlane 500 Galaxie. Best looking interior ever. I could also take any from then to 71. Love them all. But none except the 64 would look as good as this 63 bare bones.
Tonetwisters I personally like the 64
1961 Ford looked good as well. There was a sky blue Fairlane in the family long ago I still recall riding in.
You got a pretty good stumble when stomp on it @ 7:07. Might want to check the carb tune.
Yeah... in my experience it's because the accelerator pumps fitted to the carbs are probably too big and are overfueling for the RPM's.
Just gonna roll into it...
Proceeds to mash the floor.
@@MidniteLiquid A stumble like this is usually Fixed by swapping to a Larger Accelerator Pump Shot, like a 50cc, Stumble is caused by Not enough fuel during the transition of the fuel circuits in Carburetor. Most stock Holley 4 Barrels have a 30cc, you would want the larger 50cc.
Yeah, those dual carbs aren't the best for cruising around, then flooring it like this man did. He should have cleaned it out a little before he went sudden full throttle
@@elmerfudpucker3204
I'm sorry, but regardless of what type of automobile(s) they are marketing, I find used car salespersons to be extreme vexations to my spirit ; This one is fairly benign, whereas some are just plain overbearing and obnoxious.
Thx for the ride dude. Not often on youtube do you see people driving a car like that as it should be driven. Many are just show and Sunday drives to the grocery store.
That is one sweet ride, would love to own it
Owned my 1st car, 62 Ford station wagon 352 motor (our family car).
Wow the body parts and interior of this Galaxy really bring backs some beautiful memories. ❤
Jonathan, thanks for the video bud. Awesome car and excellent narrative. This is my generation car and I have been a gear banger all my life. Your shifting is just fine. If anything, you had more horsepower than roadway. Keep up the good work, brother. Cheers!
dmc0942 thanks!
I was 16 in 1971 and my first car was a 1964 Galaxie 500XL, black on black, 427 FE, single carb, 4 speed, with a 4:10 posi. Factory rated at 410hp. Wish I still had it!!
“Before you were even born”. He definitely doesn’t know when I was born. 😀 if my smiley face had wrinkles it would look more like me.
Ya heck. Every Sunday, me and my with 5 siblings went to church in a 1960 Ford Galaxy. Brown over white. Spinner hub caps, straight six, three in the tree, no power anything.
My favorite engine of all time! Galaxies were my Ford of all time! Shelby cobra 427 of 63! Watch out big time!
Sweet. I had a 63 Galaxy w/factory tri-power 406 back in the early 70s. 140 mph top end and about 9 mpg. average. : )
Nice to get a driver to really show what it will do.
beautiful example of a 63 with the 427. pretty neat. ford made a real drag version all lightweigh. aluminum and plexiglass. no heater or radio. i rode in a 64 version on a a short strip. wow ! yikes ! egads ! the owner/driver was a local ford mechanic well known for winning. had also had a 64 thunderbolt...the real bad boy ! lol ! u know those were the days ! awesome !
I run CHEVY'S but the R Code 427 was a Force. Same engine used in 427 Cobra
I had a 63 Galaxie 4 Door. Original seats had diamonds in the stitching. The car here being shown is very nice, but obviously not in it's true original condition. And that is fine. It brings me back to my young days and makes me wish this car was what I drove. Quite a treat. And you won't find a lot of those 63 Galaxies left ANYWHERE.
I'm really not at all a Ford fan. But, that is a freakishly nice car!
But who can say "no" to Good Old American Muscle ? ? ?
Any man doesn't like this car *m u s t b e g h a y* . . .
I'm 69 years and owned pretty much all the brands of muscle cars 442 , road runner z 28 mustangs , cougars if it was fast I wanted it but I've always been a Ford man my last Ford product was a 2004 Mercury Marauder , but I wanted something a little quicker and faster so I bought a 2005 Dodge Magnum R.T. 5.7 hemi dam was I ever disappointed the Marauder would wind up and be gone while the Magnum was still trying to get going

Wilma J. Wilkey ... Not to mention that the Magnum is butt ugly.
@@wilmaj.wilkey5346 Wow, kind of surprised you were so disappointed with the Dodge. I bet that Marauder was awesome, though.
I like the Ford. My brother has a 1967 mercury cyclone GT. The car is beautiful and over 700hp. I've. Never seen his car anywhere except on tv and it wasn't the same year
NICE!!! Mine is a 289 Fordamatic Car, I have had Her 45 years...... It is actually the Car I learned to drive in as a child, it was my Grandparents and when my Grandfather passed, my Grandmother gave it to me as she did not drive........
Thanks for investing your time to shoot and edit such a video. Well presented and built from interesting parts!
Not a Ford guy at all but damn that is one sweet ride absolutely gorgeous Ford's 427 was definitely a thumper
LOL! My 5th-grade teacher - Mr. Zawacki - at Paul L Best Elementary on Rosewood Blvd in Oak Park, Michigan - had one of these. Oh, the memories...
He was a true bad ass
That's too much engine for the faculty parking lot.........
That single master cylinder was not necessarily because it was a drag car but because that was the norm back then. Dual brake systems started to become introduced about that time but were not universal until 1967. Became mandatory by law in 1968.
Oh that car just made my heart skip a beat. 😍😍😍😍. I'm in love.
Nice car. I like how the hood release is designed within the grill logo ornament. Well cared for.
Absolutely Stunning looking 63"Ford Galaxie With big balls love the tail lights on these BEAUTIFUL LOOKING Car's Sounds great too Pretty Slick Car' best Wishes from the UK thanks for the Video!
This car is another reason I lament no longer getting black lacquer. The new paints simply don't measure up. Great video.
It often goes overlooked how long car trunks used to be.
Not by those of us familiar with cars from that period. This may have been made before I was born, but not really that long before.
And those trunks could take eleven suitcases or one dead horse.......
Sweet. One of my favorite cars. And you stuck THE motor in it it deserves. Four speed with rear locker and you kept it looking stock. Salute. Good work ! I would have bought it from you, and I don't even know what you sold it at. Might be in contact with you and see if you want to build another.
The Thunderbolts were equipped with the 427 “high riser” engine. Very special for sure.
Deep paint on a '64 Ford? ROFLMAO. Yeah. It's as "deep" as an FE is "fast".
So it had the typical truck motor exhaust valves like all Ford-Edsel truck motors regardless of the "performance level". A "lust object" ? Were you "driving" a skateboard at the time?
Beautiful big block Galaxy. That would be a beast on the highway
Absolutely beautiful and she's all Ford ❤️
Beautiful car thank you for sharing it. Without you filming these we would never see them. I had a 64 for 18 years.. Keep taking the videos, there are plenty of us that may not comment but love what you do.
Kids today think a Honda Civic with a Fart Can Exhaust and huge idiotic looking spoilers are muscle cars LoL Yeah I guess you can make them quick with some modifications, but I can make my lawnmower fly if I did enough mods to it LoL
