So cool ! Really great video ! Interesting. I did actually learn about this in school as a way to test for ethanol vs methanol. In German it's called: "Borsäurmethylester". I am not German but live in Germany so i have to handle with different names 😂
I have not done this synthesis with ethanol to get triethyl Borate (I don't have enough equipment) so if you did it in the future I'll be great full to share it with us :))

However 2:59 it looks pretty bad when you are filling the cylinder. It's the background of the video bleeding in. That usually means an issue with bitrate since I have the video locked in at 1080p.
Also a nod of respect acknowledgeing Styropyro. also a brillant channel. but one of my faves is "make and destroy" www.youtube.com/@MakeAndDestroyFireworks .. the combination of both your guys content is really enjoyable.

I didn’t do this synthesis yet, but I will probably do it in the future, and if enough pepole would want to see it I will make a video about it :)

Here in the EU sulfuric acid is illegal, phosphoric acid is available everywhere.
