    Hi everyone! I noticed that the timing of the subtitle track was out of sync with the video. I corrected the timing and uploaded the new subtitle track and translated the captions again. If you are watching in a different language, the captions should now be in time with the video. Please select your language in "CC" closed caption and enjoy! :)

    I found your channel a hour ago. I really like it that you don't play music in your video's. You have beautiful home from what I could see in this video. I watch a lot Korean channels and Nami in Japan. They make me calm and happy. I learn a lot of them. Irma from the Netherlands

      Hello, Irma! Thank you for watching the video! I agree with you, I love silent vlog style videos. It's very motivating and calming to see others cooking and cleaning diligently. Unfortunately now that I make my own videos, I don't have as much time to watch many videos. I hope you enjoyed the video ☺ Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day ❤

      Thank you so much for watching and leaving such a kind comment! I’m so happy to hear that you like the videos ❤️ I’m actually from the US 🇺🇸 My boyfriend is Asian and we both prefer Asian food (of all kinds) rather than Western food. I like collecting cookware from around the world, so I do have a several items (such as Noda horo enamelware) from Japan which confuses a lot of people. Most of my stainless steel is Silga from Italy and most of my cast iron/bakeware is Staub, a French brand.
      Thank you for subscribing, I hope to see you here again ❤️ Best regards to you in 🇵🇭

    Great video!!! I love the clips of nature❤. What solution do you have in your countertop sprayer? Also, do you use baking soda only or add detergent when cleaning your stainless steel?

    • @lifebymelaniee
      @lifebymelaniee  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thank you!! I use alcohol infused with lemon oil in the spray bottle. When cleaning the stainless steel, I sprinkle with baking soda first then wash it away with regular dish soap. Thanks for watching ☺️

      Hello! 👋 The camera I’m using is the Sony - Alpha 7 IV Full-frame Mirrorless Camera. I’ve forgotten the name of the lens, but I know the brand is Sigma. At the moment I do not use any external microphone; I just use the camera audio.

    I really enjoyed your video!!
    I'm living in Japan.
    you're living in America, right?
    I'm surprise that you have many Japanese seasoning and cooking tools!!
    in the middle of the video, I was wondering if you live in Japanꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)
    I like your video♡
    I'll check out other videos too!

      Thank you so much!! ☺Yes, I live in America! I really love cooking many different cuisines and Japanese food is definitely a cuisine I love and cook often (at least to the best of my ability haha) When I learn new recipes, I’m very interested in learning the history and traditional cooking methods first. I feel like I can enjoy and appreciate the food more if I use the proper ingredients, methods, and tools. If I plan to make Japanese food for the week, I will try to buy all the ingredients from a local Japanese market or if I make Hispanic foods, I will source my ingredients from a local Mexican market and so on.
      I'm happy to find that there are many items made in Japan that make cooking very convenient. I recently bought Noda Horo enamelware from Japan that I love and use daily now ☺
      I think you might like watching my pantry organization video! I have a lot of different ingredients in that video! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a sweet comment ❤

    Why do people in America rinse the staggered before putting in the dishwasher. That is what the dishwasher does! You only need to scrape for of and then load it.

    • @lifebymelaniee
      @lifebymelaniee  หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Hi, thanks for watching 👋 If I don’t rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, they will have hardened food particles all over them and still come out quite dirty. I’ve tried not rinsing by just scraping with several different detergents and with all the cycles on the dishwasher. So unfortunately, I have to rinse before hand. It also makes hand washing easier if I decide not to use the dishwasher (which I do quite often). I would love to take the easier route of scraping only and loading if it was an option for me haha ☺️

      @MaximinaD. หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We do that bc that way the dishes will be without dry food. So, when we have the dishwasher full then we turn it on instead of runs it twice a day. Safe energy good for the planet 🌎

    • @lifebymelaniee
      @lifebymelaniee  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@MaximinaD. I agree ☺ If I don't have many dishes, I will just load what I have each day until the dishwasher is full before turning it on. It's common for me to go multiple days between running the dishwasher. Thanks for watching! ❤

      At the moment, I am only using the camera audio. I do a small amount of audio adjustments when editing the footage. I mainly try to reduce noises that are too loud (for example if I’m setting down a bowl on a hard surface) and slightly “de-noise” the staticky sounds. Thank you for watching! ☺️
