Does this work if you don't do the quest? I already got the thing from the islands (flew over to them) I'm just trying to clear the storm so I can see the other shrines up there.
I litterally glided right onto the lower spire of one of the islands. It let me ascend through the bottom and I popped out right next to the shrine and the door lol
Thank you so much! I actually skip all this befora, because i already meet the fifth sage and get the Master Sword but i never understand on why the Dragonhead Island have this infinite storm, really surprise to see this was main mission thing lol
I accidentally skipped the whole "find the fifth sage" quest by running into the 5th sage quest by random while exploring the sky and now i cant get rid of the thunderstorm. those doors in the swamp are closed and no quests trigger. How do i fix this?
Are you not able to explore the floating ring ruin? If so it could be because you haven't done the regional phenomena quest line and had an encounter at hyrule castle, after you do that could trigger the quest in kakariko
Did you try talking to Paya and Tauro in Kakariko Village? I had also the fith Sage before getting the Quest for it. But talking to these two gave me the Secret of the Ring Ruins quest anyways.
I went there because a korok asked for a picture of “a swirly thing”. Thought they were talking about a hurricane, turns out I stumbled into a dungeon. Whoops.
@@Starilis I finished regional phenomena quest but i thought crisis at hyrule castle was the last quest so i held onto it and started clearing all shrines, upgrade a set to 4 stars and farm some white lynels for fuse items so i was kind of overprepared for that boss fight in hyrule castle lol. After completing it i could trigger that quest in Kakariko Village. I spent like an hour or two reaching the shrine on the island with the fog/storm since i thought i had bugged my save somehow…
That's hard to believe that they made it like that. Because they didn't do that with the master swords quest. I did the dragon tear way and still got the quest from the deku tree. But if you say is true I'm disappointed.
Did i skip steps and bug this? My goal was to clear the storm of the Thunderhead Isles but i already got the 5th sage. Or do I have to go to the castle first? Edit: I had to do the castle first

You don't have to beat him to get the quest. You can do it before you go to the castle. Just fly into the storm and find a mask on the lower island that will activate the quest.
spoilers(!) after you complete the “crisis at hyrule castle” quest (go to the castle and follow zelda sightings and defeat boss waves that show up. at the end of it you’ll have to fight several phantom ganons, but they’re not extremely difficult so as long as you have food on hand and plenty of arrows/bomb arrows you should be good. having the sages vow’s definitely help in this case also) after that, you go back and speak with purah, and from there everyone knows the princess they’ve been seeing was an imposter zelda the whole time. i’m pretty sure you should be able to travel to kakariko and speak to paya and tauro, and they should give you a quest regarding the ring ruins. calip shouldn’t be a problem anymore then 😁
I flew right into the storm before the quest and beat the construct and got to the spirit temple and everything, but I waited and stopped cuz Ik it was dungeon and that I missed a quest, so instead I stopped there and did this whole thing 😅
I got it randomly by going to one of the towers and launching myself into the storm. I landed on the tail of the storm on the Thunderhead Isles and made my from island to island until I got to the shrine for up there. On top of where the shrine was there is a launcher pad. I aimed it into the storm in the direction I thought I should be going and ended up dropping down on Dragonhead Island near the shrine. Followed the sensor+ from there and through some vines.

i spent 5 tryin to get my last shrine and i still can’t thank god for this video
No way I just wasted my hr
same here
I used a wing from South Necluda Sky Archipelago and stumbled into the shrine by pure luck. I had no idea there was a quest here!
Dude I did the exact same thing I didn't use a wing I used a flying bike but still
I dropped a random pin as a marker in the dragon head storm mass from the great sky island, got lucky and placed the pin right on the shrine 😄
Same, I ended up at the bottom part of the main platform and used fuse. BOOM right at the shrine
Same
I did a main quest exploring randomly
For everyone's sake. You have to complete all four temples and beat the boss in Hyrule Castle afterwards to unlock this quest (in your Adventure Log).
So you basically can’t clear the storm until you beat the game?

No you don’t have to.
@@dianastella Well, yes, you can DO the quest on your own, but to unlock the quest in your Adventure Log, you need to do what I said.
Finally, a tutorial on this. In my playthrough I literally went through the entire storm using markers to get through it and get my bearings.

I did the fifth sage by randomly finding it too and the quest still triggered so I'm not sure? :/

Same. Completely accidental. Rolled with it.
Wait! whats with the Zonai Guardian at 8:20 in the temple with the ‘Charged Armour’ treasure? Why is it there?
man i stumbled upon the fifth sage on accident and now i feel bad that the suspense and wonder of the quest didn't affect me. :'\

It doesn't even get rid of the storm. Sure, you can see better but the constant damn lightning is still there!
