Thanks for highlighting the XDA keycaps. I've found since moving to these that my accuracy and speed have improved dramatically. I only wish that there were more options in this profile.

Mine will arrive in January and I need to prepare a keycap set. I plan on using split space, but Meletrix seems to support an unusual split space layout: 1.5u + 1u + 1.5u + 3u + 1u + 3u + 1.5u.
Not many keycap sets have 2x3u, most just have one.
PCB has a lot of sockets in the bottom row. Any chance to use more standard split space layout? Like for example 3x 1.25 u + 2.75u + 1.25u + 2.25u + 2x1.25u ?

How about going for a foamless and plateless build? I am interested in that sound.

I plan to do that when I come back to this keyboard shortly.

Hey man waited to know a little something… Just give a recommendation on what i should pick up 😅 And a thing that i should mention is that I don’t have any sort of materials nor equipments to mod them 😥 so modding is kinda tuff for me .

I'm actually surprised at how loud & open the case sounds with all the foams! Are the top or bottom halves particularly thin or something? I've never been big on foams, switch sheets, or tape mods but it seems this board is almost made for them.

Not thin, they are not the thickest I've seen to date, but it's not thin. The Drop Sense75, now that was thin.
I've yet to try it without foams, but I love how it sounds fully loaded.

@@MechKeyboards Yeah it did sound good loaded up for sure. I'm pretty curious as to how it would sound without foams now too LOL! Definitely something to try in a future video on this. If you do get around to trying it bare, definitely give some clicky switches a shot in it. I am not a huge fan of clicky switches, but more open sounding cases like this pair ridiculously good with them.

@@robr640 funny enough I just received some clicky switches to review and I was wondering how they'd sound in one of these. I'll at least do a sound test with no foams and some clickies here in the near future, thanks for the idea!
