I've got this peep sight fitted & running currently a shrewd x4 scope lens, the image is good. at 18m range your standard 42cm target is almost 10-15mm in size "via your plain eye sight" through the sight you can clearly see your arrow impact area & the centre yellow circle... obviously these changes with your scope lens choice & power. I would say, after fitting this peep you do want to tie it in, my sight has currently begun to slightly rotate (correctly woven into the string) its also slightly slipped down.... I'd also mention the fitting tool for the semi-lock ring is pretty useless as its cheap plastic & yes if you try to put any slight sum of force to lock the lenses into place the tool becomes wedged into the sight, leaving it finger lose you happily see the lock ring rotate around with each shot as theres a bright pen QC mark.... teh one good point of view is at lease its pretty much a complete kit "at a rather high price point"
@@mittyvidz8259 no its pretty much impossible to move once it's fitted to the string "this is from someone who's got this sight fitted" yes you must untie the string from the sight 'either side' to adjust it. I'll also mention during using the bow my sight has slightly moved out of position & slightly rotated, the string is tied off top & bottom, the sight has a double knot wrapped around it to aid securing it further.
@@benpena2832 if using it as a plain peep its suitable to use with a none magnified sight (& it has a full set of apertures within the kit) when using it with a scope, you have x3 clarifying lenses which improve the sight picture &/or pin identification depending on the scope lens in your front sight & your eyesight etc.. if you have a higher-powered scope lens the image can be blurry hence using a clarifying lens (bow scope lenses aren't like gun scopes ie very clear) when you increase the front scope lens power you usually change the clarifying lens to suit (here you've x3 to choose from) I've a x4 shrewd scope & currently using this peep with the yellow clarifying lens.. soon to be changing to a x6-8 scope lens... the other aspect of using a scope on a bow is when using a higher powered lens, any hand movement it heavily effecting your sight picture
There is a tapered side of the lens. The part of the lens that the aperture buds up against the lens has 3 feet to protect your lenses. The set screw holds it all together. ♥️🏹 👁
That's alot of money.. I'm sure if you can make it work then that's great.. 200 to 250 dollars... I'm not sure if bohning made the peep any better or not but I had one once and didn't really like it. If your gonna spend that kinda money just buy hamskea
its pretty much the same price to most clarifying lens peep kits, either individually parts sold or as a whole kit... dont forget this can be used with a plain peep via a none magnified sight & with a scope where the operator requires sight/pin clarification
I've been running peepit for 3 or 4 years. Best peep sight out there
Good to hear! I was tired of my standard peep issues and tying them in. I'm looking forward to the peep it!
Always enjoy the clips awesome information ❤✌️👍much love
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing!
What I really want to see is how it looks, when you look through the peep/clarifier/magnifier at the target.

Good idea but the only criticism is you have to press your bow everytime you want to move your peep for initial adjustment.
Nope, adjusts without a press just fine
@@mittyvidz8259 If it can move without pressing, it can move while being transported. Probably a good idea to serve above and below for insurance.

@@thecadman99 it does, when firing after 60 shots+ my string is tied top & bottom
So far im liking the peepit… the system i need just need to swallow the price and do it.
Good explanation on how to install but you never said what this peep does or concept behind it.
From 10 seconds to 1:30 we explain what it is and what you get to customize it to your needs.
Ok… I meant the clarifier… I know i know… you’re prolly gonna say “well, it clarifies of course”
Thanks

when using it with a scope, you have x3 clarifying lenses which improve the sight picture &/or pin identification depending on the scope lens in your front sight & your eyesight etc.. if you have a higher-powered scope lens the image can be blurry hence using a clarifying lens (bow scope lenses aren't like gun scopes ie very clear)
when you increase the front scope lens power you usually change the clarifying lens to suit (here you've x3 to choose from)
I've a x4 shrewd scope & currently using this peep with the yellow clarifying lens.. soon to be changing to a x6-8 scope lens...
the other aspect of using a scope on a bow is when using a higher powered lens, any hand movement it heavily effecting your sight picture
You need a magnifying glass to put it all together
Actually, I'm blind as a bat and I was able to do it in this video without magnifiers. And my glasses are for distance, so they don't help......

You need tiny fingers for all that
