I bought a used car. He bought 3new tires. I later found out that the ig traction light came on. I searched nd its to reset it when the tires r fixed or aired up. Something like that. (It has a button under the steering wheel to reset) i aired up the tires where its supposed to be and tried to but the light didnt blink like it should to let me know its done. Before i aired it and now. It flashes a few times then stays on every time i start the car. I dont know why. I also found a paper the owner took the car to get checked. It needs alignment, i think it said spark plugs (they mechanic wrote messy), cabin air filter and engine air filter are “suggested to be replaced”. I was gonna order the two filters for my dad to fix but havent yet. (We had a falling so i dont want to ask him) just today i started my car and like 30secs in. (Not pressing the gas or brake) nd it made a huge sound as if revving or like a motorcycle just passed by. It drives and moves but that sounds it really loud and annoying and scary.
I guess that I shouldn't laugh at this. It is the case that small businesses have people that aren't properly trained or who deceive people intentionally. Any tire center worth it's salt would not have installed mismatched tires on this car. It is also the case that people lacking basic mechanical knowledge can be taken advantage of. About a year ago I took my car in to PepBoys for an oil change and free rotation. When I went to get in the car I observed that the tires had not been rotated. I went back in to the service counter and told the service tech. She called the tire man (young man) and asked if he had rotated the tires and he replied yes. I challenged that and explained how I knew that they had not been rotated. Then he admitted he hadn't because it's an all wheel drive vehicle and they don't need to have the tires rotated. Unbelievable. The service tech had some choice words with the tire jockey and he went back and did the rotation.

Heck ya man. Great job. My son just added two new front tires to the car so I will check this out. We have a 2014 but this may be the issue.
If the rears are worn this will cause issues. All four need to be close in circumference.

I think both sizes are wrong. Stock size should be 185/65R15.
