Southampton were well drilled and organised, especially in the first half. Second half Newcastle dragged them into a dog fight and got the deserved equaliser. Long way drive back for the saints knowing they should of walked away with all 3 points.
Get real, the Standard is woeful! Goalkeeping (both teams) & defending amateurish. Lasses have no midfield…having said that they never gave up. Promotion? No chance!
Not as bad as Portsmouth are struggling. We're doing ok considering it's our first time ever playing at this level. People going on like we've played in the Championship for years. One more summer transfer window and we should have a squad strong enough to compete for top spot next season. Like it or not, promotion to the WSL is inevitable with the financial backing we've got.
Horrible take but it seems you're a mackem so its to be expected. Newly promoted and one point off your girls isn't bad at all, positive signs that we'll be in the WSL in a few seasons. UTM.
