I tink ah is the whole area for arm curve front and back right

Sure. Ad is scye width measure, the part around the bust which is placed under the arm.
Ah should be measured from your pattern exactly the same as the picture. It´s not the amount of curved lines, you should measure exactly straight lines on the bodice block.
