unfortunatly she doesn't show on a body how to take measurement of shoulder, neck, waist...etc so it is not a complete tutorial

My late father was v good at sewing gowns n flair skirts when I was a teenager . I wasn't interested then n lived to regret it now. But his passion somehow runs in me but I focus more on sewing simple rustic style curtain. Seeing this lady's amazing tutorials brings back those sweet memories. Thanks, dear.
Hi there - loved your comment, as I have a similar story. My late mother was a brilliant seamstress (didn’t need a pattern at all). …but I didn’t have much interest at the time. Now I find myself with that same passion and wished I had paid more attention. …but at least their passion lives on in us!! 🙏🏾❤️

I just found your channel and this by far is the best most simple straightforward tutorial I have seen ,just 1 question how much ease do we give to the garment say if I wanted a fitted blouse etc .would love a reply.
This depends on the fabric you use, if the fabric is stretchy you don't need to add much, if the fabric is not stretchy like cotton you need to add more, if you want a good fit, add about 1cm-1,5cm❤
唯一缺点肩点不是直角90。它大于90。就凹陷了一些，如果直角就好些

I love your tutorial; thank you so much. However, it's not entirely clear (to me at least) how to mark the 1 cm for the front sleeve. Is the ruler placed at a 45 degree angle with centre back? I would really appreciate it if you could explain this. Thanks in advance.

Hi Thuy. Thank you so much. Your neatness is immaculate. I would consider your work first class. I`ve never seen you do any skirt pattern. Would love to see you do one. I`m a plus size16-18 with a high tummy. Do I have to make any specific adjustment to my pattern because of my high tummy? If The plus sizes drafting is different can you say or show us how. Keep up the good work. Love love your work!!!

Had to come over here to search for u after seeing some of ur patterns on different pages on ig
it would be far more helpful if you would show us how to take the body measurements first. And then when drafting the pattern show was what body measurement you were using how to make that line on the paper. People come in so many shapes and sizes that numbers without a reference point to the body is not useful. Thank you
What a nonsense. If you don't know how to take body measurements, then why are your watching this video? Maybe you should do a course beginners first?

It's a simple draft, but when u draw a pattern it makes a dress in 3D. However in a basic draft u get it 2 dimensional and that doesn't give form to ur body shape.
