In regards to the toy, one of my favorite types of toys are the costume ones. Going into battle as an iron dwarf or a large bird man is hilarious. Blizz has a few such toys that break the moment you enter combat and they go right in the bin. The only ones that break that I can accept are ones that make you super small as this could be abused in PvP.
I miss trinkets that transform you mid fight like Will of Deathbringer. Man ICC was so fucking cool, so much flavor. Shadowmournse was the coolest legendary in the game in my opinion (yes i said it, thunderfury owners).
It’s wildly inconsistent. There’s the Warden toy from Legion that turns you into a night elf Warden, and not only does it not break in combat but it also preserves all the Demon Hunter combat animations (if you’re using it on a DH). Typically those don’t work, even on nelf/belf replacement models. So why is that one so good? Who knows.
Just make it break only when you go into PvP, then? They can definitely track that difference. They really need to overhaul all of the appearance altering toys to give them 1 min cooldowns, 1 hour durations, and to not break when you start combat...there's so much stuff that would actually make a lot of people happy if they could just always have it.
my biggest issue with this first week was the bug that made the barter brick quests repeatable causing some people to exploit it and end up able to buy profession stuff they shouldn't have been able to yet
still so annoyed by this. I don't mind grinding for currency to buy that profession stuff- but the fact that some people were able to exploit it and get stuff early without any punishment is just frustrating. and then the soft cap on it? really just the cherry on top of the shit show. Love being capped at 30-34 while other folks were able to get 80+ bartering bricks
This is actually easily reportable and bannable. If you see anyone with those crafted items on the AH or something, report them. Knowingly exploiting like that is an easy ban, and Blizz most likely will / already has banned people for doing so, or bare minimum, taken the items away.
As someone who doesnt really pay attention to what gets released and when, the pause after chapter 4 made sense to me and I assumed that I'd have to wait till this week to do it. I wouldnt have assumed a bug there at all
14:23 I did the campaign on every class... It took 5 mins each and finished the weekly accord and you could pick up the quest before turning in even before the fix.
i think the bug with the items in the mail might be more than that, especially if, like with the coins, there's more down the road, and the items we "lost" get a bit better. it's the ethereals. ethereals all the way down. also i agree that the dragonscale camp quests were wonderful. i was glad to finally hear the hraxian story. also this is more time to get to hang out with best black dragon boy voraxian. 😏
I think it is just a bug, partially because of the lack of flavourtext appropriate for something like the coins, but also because it didn't even let me claim them, they are still in my mail box unable to be removed or deleted.

Trading post literally started with a sparklepony. It's had cash shop items on it from day 1 and I'm glad that there's another avenue to getting them rather than investing money or gold. The real crime this patch is that of all the warlock tier sets the only one with a shadowflame effect is the elite pvp set - the mythic one just has generic purple spookgas.
I'm glad you 2 are still running this show, I have been a fan for a long time. I quit back in legion and came back right before dragonflight launch, and was just glad to see this show still going. Just wanted to let you knowi appreciate the work both of you do!
4:00 you forgot about Spectral Steed. It was in a sale for 8€. As sale was going, PTR was live too and we know what will be first items in tendies vendor, the horse. So you was able to buy tenders in January, even the feature wasnt in live game.

I upgraded my RX580 for a 6700XT, just in time for the new patch. I got worried that maybe my card was bust, but apparently the game was freezing up for a lot of AMD users. Turns out certain spells would freeze the game. Downgrading the api from Dx12 to Dx11, and resetting the shutter cache on the Adrenaline software seemed to be a temporary fix for it.

Also something I found. I Faction Changed my main to Alliance to join a guild of friends a while back. With cross-faction guilds opening up, I figured I could faction change back to Horde and it would be fine. Apparently not. The faction change process still removes you from any guilds (or at least it did when I did my one). So be mindful of that if you are planning to do the same.
I only have a few issues but otherwise really enjoying the patch! 1. They advertised the slitherdrake to be this week but then it wasn't. Not a big deal though. 2. The exploit that made some people able to get more barter bricks, buy the recipes and flood the market early. It's clear that not all got banned because there's still extra on the ah. 3. The mythic sarkareth mount was initially displayed as dropping from all difficulties and was changed the day before release. Kind of weird and makes me sad too. Even though this is a normal thing for the past years 4. The first week doesn't have that much to do. Just been farming drake fragments but otherwise nothing to do. Would be nice if m+ was open this week so we could do dungeons with friends. Not a big deal though as we get it in a day
I'm surprised you didn't mention how much of a grind the Worthy Ally quest is... if not for the rep token from the quests, I had already put hours into the WQs and events to not even get half way to 1500 rep...
I didn't even think about the tendies when I saw that Medivh item on the shop - there's only ever a couple things I want each month, so I have plenty left over.This is a boon for those who DO spend all their tendies, however, and want this item! They may not save up their tendies like me, and then you would be making a video about FOMO instead, lol. Giving people an option to A) Get it for free and B) Pay for it if they think they might miss it later are good things. It's just an option! FFXIV does the same thing with in game items.
I thought I had missed a quest for the Chapter 5, 6, & 7! I wandered around for a long time trying to find anything in game to help! I have seen people with the Slitherdrake already in game! I hate all the content grinding for armor/weapons crap!
I don’t know, the medivh set being on the store doesn’t feel any different to me than them putting up a store mount like the celestial steed the first month. Yeah if it was the bonus reward that would’ve sucked, but I doubt it will be. Like sure you CAN buy it, but you don’t have to. That’s the whole appeal. I didn’t mind this decision
Speaking of patches that went wrong, remember when Dragonflight first launched and the heavy population realms would CTD when trying to hop on the zeppelin / boat to start the expansion? It only lasted for a few hours but it was memorable. Those were the days.
I remember the Live Launch of BfA and how it wasn't exactly quite "live" in that you needed to log out and log back in again in order to get the bread crumb quest to show up... only to then run into "Unable to Connect to Login Server" errors when trying to relog.
@ 12:25 this is wrong. you only needed to get through the intro on your main. Your alts can pick up this quest instantly. Than you can have it completed as soon as you walk into Loam. This way you have your spark as soon as you complete chapter one. on every alt. Did this myself.
The only issue with the current "solution" with the spark skip is you have no way of knowing in game that you don't have to do the campaign again to get alt's sparks. The game literally teaches you initially that you get the spark by doing the campaign, and unless you accidentally fly down there after finding out theres no campaign skip, you'll probably be (rightfully) convinced you have to do the campaign again. It's just bad design, idk why the spark quest was behind the campaign at all and not just something you pick up in Valdrakken right after logging on.
I wish blizz would STOP inventing new currencies and new puzzle pieces we have to carry around! My bag space quickly filled with all the fragments and emblems and tokens. I still got that synthesis forge mats occupied majority of my bank space!
See, my reaction to the Medivh set was completely the opposite. I'd rather know I can NOT spent the $8 on the set and just get it later. Tenders are literally used for cosmetics, and if I don't have to spend real money for a cosmetic by waiting and maybe skipping a piece of other less appealing items, that's a win for me and thank you Blizz for the heads up.

It's a bit different from buying tenders. If you buy tenders you can potentially buy as many as you want and get whatever you want. If you are not interested in this particular mog, you don't save anything. Whereas if you bought $8 worth of tenders you could have bought whatever else. You are buying a specific transmog and then given a choice to get it later in exchange for your time. It's better than having a transmog you can ONLY buy with cash here imo.
I do find it annoying that the gear lvl is made from 424 to 450, I mean not only I got to reframe my stuff but are we slowly going back to the old days where the numbers will be too high & the game too complicated to play casually, are we going back from lvl 120 to become reset a few expansions later back to 60?

I waited for blizz to make the Niffen weekly rep quest available without doing the intro scenario on alts... and then did it on all the alts for the free 2500 rep when you finish it, which finished the weekly 1500 niffen rep quest instantly giving me all the sparks! Also gives access to the sniff and sneak minigame which drops BoA rep tokens that I can funnel to my main during this very Darkmoon Faire rep bonus week!
The amount of lag, crashes, freezes,etc name plate bugs etc have been insane xD I'm still half afraid of using dream projection on my evoker in pvp cause the amount of crashes it causes when using in big groups
I found that really cool shadow flame toy on my own. However, I wish it worked like the Drust Grimour from BFA where you could cast it anytime you want with no cool down. It lasted an hour while reading your character in a cool shadowy aura that was unbroken by combat or spellcasting. All these things with the shadow, flame toy or not the case. As you mentioned the effect only last for 10 minutes and feeds immediately upon combat, this is total BS.
Maybe I'm just getting old and tired of WoW, but to be honest... this whole patch reeks of more system-creep coming back into the game and I honestly have little energy left for that. The gear upgrade system could be interesting but feels (to me) overly convoluted, timegating is again rearing its ugly head and the whole thing about farming a weekend quest for a item with no catch up if you miss one... gives me Torghast vibes. Just... sigh. Not even mad. Just tired.
what ive seen in other video the sparks have a catch up system (1 splinterer of sparks every week need 2 to make a spark except 1st week an entire spark earned)in week 3 you will have 1spark and 2 splinterer so 2 sparks. if you start an alt in week 3 you will be able to earn 2 sparks and catch up with your main. when you do the entire questline the system is clearer but i agree its overwhelming at first

With the tenders thing why not have this outrage when shop mounts like the celestial steed showed up? I already had the celestial steed so I functionally saved. It is the same thing.
That's actually a decent point. I'd say it's because when mounts were originally put on the store the Trading Post wasn't even an idea - if you bought the mount, you were buying it for the mount, and only the mount. But now this item being on the store with the foreknowledge it'll come to the TP later means there's an inherent Tender cost attached to not buying it for money - the original mounts is "you bought it for gold, it was taken off the store, now other people can buy it for in-game currency". This is "You can buy this for money now, or you can buy it for a limited in-game currency later, even though a lot of you already feel there's not enough Tender for everything you want". Basically, there was no known FOMO attached to the mounts when they were first added to the store, but this new deal is essentially FOMO of the currency, rather than FOMO of the item. You've got three months to decide if you want to spend $8 now to save 900 tender down the track, and once the deal's over it's gone forever. We didn't have that element when we bought Celestial Steeds back in Wrath.
The Steed was long gone by the time the Trading Post was ever introduced, no one bought the Steed with the knowledge they would be saving traders tenders
Doing the campaign quests again on my fresh alts was great, as it instantly got them a full set of decent, upgradeable gear rather than having to grind and grind and grind to get them out of their 'freshly levelled' state.
Is it the starting campaign or a different one? I haven’t played the new expansion very much and the idea of being able to get a full set of upgradeable armor sounds great with the free week of game time Blizz just gave out
@@hobbes5552 The starting campaign for the new zone. If you don't care about story and bounce from quest to quest you can zoom through it and get a full set very easily. (Which I did as I obviously already took my time on it first time round on my main)
Do you think that we could explore in more details the origins of the incarnates in 10.1.5 and 10.1.7 leading into 10.2. We don't seem to know much about them other than they opposed the aspects and was imprisoned as well as having elemental powers. I'm curious as to when and where the incarnates got their elemental powers, was it before the aspects attacked Galakrond or after as a way to balance the scales against the titan blessed aspects. Or could we explore in the megadungeon the origins of Galakrond. One final idea for the megadungeon could be finding and retrieving the Disc of Tyr's memories that Chrono-Lord Deios cast away which could tie into your Idea Mr Taliesin. I disagree on the cash shop and trader's tender reward topic. The reason I wouldn't buy the MOG is because we get it anyways but if I had to do literally anything else like a side quest out of the normal daily/weekly scope I would just use tender.

IMO, the Medivh transmog was probably supposed to be only a store thing All the previous screenshots of the mog had a blizzard warning that it would never be available for the trading post, but people got mad?
One of the things I really didn't like about Shadowlands was the huge proliferation of currencies... each of which became useless with the next patch. And here we are, where all the BoA pieces we got on the island are, gosh! Obsolete. And we apparently need to find stuff to actually unlock the treasures that proliferate our map, and we have new currencies we need to get maps to get more new currencies... sigh.
I'm pretty sure the entire time all anyone had to do to get their spark was win an epic bg and a half. I can't remember if it was day one or two, but I would just pick up the quest to find another half-spark, and Malicia's pvp weeklies (last week, earn 1500 honor in epic bgs) awarded a chest with them. On that note, I also earned week 2's half-spark less than 30 minutes after maintenance the same way.
I think the real issue with the guardian set is that Blizzard released it backwards, it should have been a reward track first, and *then* a shop item, as FFXIV does with holiday items to lessen FoMO in a way that doesn’t bloat their holiday trader menus/allows them to change rewards every holiday rerun. Whether it had been for tender or not would be irrelevant in that case, and honestly I think they meant to do it that way *until* the incident where it was on the post too early and the cat was out of the bag.
I haven’t been able to do the snail race that people were able to do before tank 7. Also I’ve been having dungeon audio issues :( just on the dialog I hear everything else expect the bosses talking.
To answer your question. If it ends up as the bonus reward in the Traveler's Log, then you don't spend tenders on it. If you buy it now with real life currency, then you don't spend tenders on it when it comes to the Trading Post. I see no difference, as in both cases you still have the tenders to spend on something else.

There were already cash items in the shop so it kind of doesn't matter now, there are already people with more tendies than others because they own all the shop stuff.
Tali, i have to wholly disagree with you about the Medivh mog debacle. them putting it in the Store first with the option to put it in the Trading Post later is a way to appease both sides. the Whales and the REAL players, if you're buying the mog from the store you're not going to even care about the tenders and it can easily be considered vice versa, i dont care if it would save me tenders later because there is no fomo, i'll always have a chance to grab everything from the Trading Post eventually, caring about saving tenders is honestly just a very silly reason to complain tbh.
What caught me by surprise was the inability to convert regular gear to season 1 tier last week, prior to season 2 starting this week. I discovered that crafted pants were the appropriate season 2 choice so had those created and then realized I couldn't convert shoulders to tier 1 to keep the 4-piece set bonus, rendering the pants unusable until I get 4-piece tier 2. Whoops.
that being said, I feel like this is my favorite patch story-wise so far. There was a lot of stuff that felt REALLY WELL written and actually really spoke to me. Some of it eve made me choke up a little (like the funeral of that Centaur dude)
The guardian set description has been changed. It now says it's going away indefinitely on may 31st. based on that, I think it may be up on the store as an apology?
I can absolutely see why the SHadowflame effect goes away when you enter combat. Or rather, I can see it vanish when you enter a dungeon or Raid. If many of the mechanics in the raid are Shadowflame-themed then having people with a toy effect would make it a bt iffy. Similar to how they say they dont want too many glyphs to alter spell effects because that will screw with PvPers. Similar to how the Warlock Green Fire effect was very annoying during Tomb of Sargeras..

Used to RP as a "master of illusion" mage and had an addon set up to use one of said toys the moment the previous one came undone. Good times.

Watching the different sets coming up from PTR made it abundantly clear that purple, sppok gas included or not, was the running theme of Mythic sets
I feel like Wrath is roughly the same alt friendliness wise. You can ding and start doing end game content right away.
For the shard of shadow flame you can also get the item from either of the pvp weekly quests.

I remember the Live Launch of BfA and how it wasn't exactly quite "live" in that you needed to log out and log back in again in order to get the bread crumb quest to show up... only to then run into "Unable to Connect to Login Server" errors when trying to relog.
Actually chapter 1 was Forbidden reach. For the spark you had to do this, and then chapter 2 and go underground...
Unless you already started the Forbidden Reach quests on your alt or are doing it for the very first time, that part is totally skippable
I tried to love Dragonflight, but I couldn't get intro it. I made it through BFA and SL, but something about dragons and questing didn't work for me
@ 12:25 this is wrong. you only needed to get through the intro on your main. Your alts can pick up this quest instantly. Than you can have it completed as soon as you walk into Loam. This way you have your spark as soon as you complete chapter one. on every alt. Did this myself.
It never even occured to me that it wasn't time-gated...
In fact, i was surprised so many chapters were available in week 1.

The only issue with the current "solution" with the spark skip is you have no way of knowing in game that you don't have to do the campaign again to get alt's sparks. The game literally teaches you initially that you get the spark by doing the campaign, and unless you accidentally fly down there after finding out theres no campaign skip, you'll probably be (rightfully) convinced you have to do the campaign again. It's just bad design, idk why the spark quest was behind the campaign at all and not just something you pick up in Valdrakken right after logging on.
Would have been classic if Tali threw away that mail and then it flopped right back on his desk... 🤣

I wish blizz would STOP inventing new currencies and new puzzle pieces we have to carry around! My bag space quickly filled with all the fragments and emblems and tokens. I still got that synthesis forge mats occupied majority of my bank space!
See, my reaction to the Medivh set was completely the opposite. I'd rather know I can NOT spent the $8 on the set and just get it later. Tenders are literally used for cosmetics, and if I don't have to spend real money for a cosmetic by waiting and maybe skipping a piece of other less appealing items, that's a win for me and thank you Blizz for the heads up.

I've had a pretty pleasant time with this patch. Sad to hear its been sucking for some folks.
It's a bit different from buying tenders.
If you buy tenders you can potentially buy as many as you want and get whatever you want.
If you are not interested in this particular mog, you don't save anything. Whereas if you bought $8 worth of tenders you could have bought whatever else.
You are buying a specific transmog and then given a choice to get it later in exchange for your time.
It's better than having a transmog you can ONLY buy with cash here imo.

I do find it annoying that the gear lvl is made from 424 to 450, I mean not only I got to reframe my stuff but are we slowly going back to the old days where the numbers will be too high & the game too complicated to play casually, are we going back from lvl 120 to become reset a few expansions later back to 60?

I waited for blizz to make the Niffen weekly rep quest available without doing the intro scenario on alts... and then did it on all the alts for the free 2500 rep when you finish it, which finished the weekly 1500 niffen rep quest instantly giving me all the sparks! Also gives access to the sniff and sneak minigame which drops BoA rep tokens that I can funnel to my main during this very Darkmoon Faire rep bonus week!
The amount of lag, crashes, freezes,etc name plate bugs etc have been insane xD I'm still half afraid of using dream projection on my evoker in pvp cause the amount of crashes it causes when using in big groups

I found that really cool shadow flame toy on my own. However, I wish it worked like the Drust Grimour from BFA where you could cast it anytime you want with no cool down. It lasted an hour while reading your character in a cool shadowy aura that was unbroken by combat or spellcasting. All these things with the shadow, flame toy or not the case. As you mentioned the effect only last for 10 minutes and feeds immediately upon combat, this is total BS.
I wish some toys could be made into transmog items, like this shadowflame thing, and the blazing wings.
"Most alt friendly" is definitely not the case for DF. It's pretty bad actually, just not the worst.
Maybe I'm just getting old and tired of WoW, but to be honest... this whole patch reeks of more system-creep coming back into the game and I honestly have little energy left for that. The gear upgrade system could be interesting but feels (to me) overly convoluted, timegating is again rearing its ugly head and the whole thing about farming a weekend quest for a item with no catch up if you miss one... gives me Torghast vibes.

what ive seen in other video the sparks have a catch up system (1 splinterer of sparks every week need 2 to make a spark except 1st week an entire spark earned)in week 3 you will have 1spark and 2 splinterer so 2 sparks.
if you start an alt in week 3 you will be able to earn 2 sparks and catch up with your main.
when you do the entire questline the system is clearer but i agree its overwhelming at first

if you're behind on Sparks there's a chance for fragments to drop from various content (m+, loot bags, etc)

The toy issue is something that I wish they would seriously normalize, because the rules keep changing, they're often idiotic, and we have PAGES UPON PAGES of toys we'll use once that clutter the collection. It's like if they made appearances you can only transmog 2 weeks per year... oh wait.

With the tenders thing why not have this outrage when shop mounts like the celestial steed showed up? I already had the celestial steed so I functionally saved. It is the same thing.
That's actually a decent point. I'd say it's because when mounts were originally put on the store the Trading Post wasn't even an idea - if you bought the mount, you were buying it for the mount, and only the mount. But now this item being on the store with the foreknowledge it'll come to the TP later means there's an inherent Tender cost attached to not buying it for money - the original mounts is "you bought it for gold, it was taken off the store, now other people can buy it for in-game currency". This is "You can buy this for money now, or you can buy it for a limited in-game currency later, even though a lot of you already feel there's not enough Tender for everything you want".
Basically, there was no known FOMO attached to the mounts when they were first added to the store, but this new deal is essentially FOMO of the currency, rather than FOMO of the item. You've got three months to decide if you want to spend $8 now to save 900 tender down the track, and once the deal's over it's gone forever. We didn't have that element when we bought Celestial Steeds back in Wrath.
The Steed was long gone by the time the Trading Post was ever introduced, no one bought the Steed with the knowledge they would be saving traders tenders
this, I honestly have no problem with people buying tenders, more interested in store items being available from in game non-token activity
Doing the campaign quests again on my fresh alts was great, as it instantly got them a full set of decent, upgradeable gear rather than having to grind and grind and grind to get them out of their 'freshly levelled' state.
Is it the starting campaign or a different one? I haven’t played the new expansion very much and the idea of being able to get a full set of upgradeable armor sounds great with the free week of game time Blizz just gave out
@@hobbes5552 The starting campaign for the new zone. If you don't care about story and bounce from quest to quest you can zoom through it and get a full set very easily. (Which I did as I obviously already took my time on it first time round on my main)
Do you think that we could explore in more details the origins of the incarnates in 10.1.5 and 10.1.7 leading into 10.2. We don't seem to know much about them other than they opposed the aspects and was imprisoned as well as having elemental powers. I'm curious as to when and where the incarnates got their elemental powers, was it before the aspects attacked Galakrond or after as a way to balance the scales against the titan blessed aspects. Or could we explore in the megadungeon the origins of Galakrond. One final idea for the megadungeon could be finding and retrieving the Disc of Tyr's memories that Chrono-Lord Deios cast away which could tie into your Idea Mr Taliesin. I disagree on the cash shop and trader's tender reward topic. The reason I wouldn't buy the MOG is because we get it anyways but if I had to do literally anything else like a side quest out of the normal daily/weekly scope I would just use tender.

All the previous screenshots of the mog had a blizzard warning that it would never be available for the trading post, but people got mad?
One of the things I really didn't like about Shadowlands was the huge proliferation of currencies... each of which became useless with the next patch. And here we are, where all the BoA pieces we got on the island are, gosh! Obsolete. And we apparently need to find stuff to actually unlock the treasures that proliferate our map, and we have new currencies we need to get maps to get more new currencies... sigh.
I guess it would be like buying tenders, but only if you had plans on actually getting it. Which is certainly not my case.
I'm pretty sure the entire time all anyone had to do to get their spark was win an epic bg and a half. I can't remember if it was day one or two, but I would just pick up the quest to find another half-spark, and Malicia's pvp weeklies (last week, earn 1500 honor in epic bgs) awarded a chest with them. On that note, I also earned week 2's half-spark less than 30 minutes after maintenance the same way.
I think the real issue with the guardian set is that Blizzard released it backwards, it should have been a reward track first, and *then* a shop item, as FFXIV does with holiday items to lessen FoMO in a way that doesn’t bloat their holiday trader menus/allows them to change rewards every holiday rerun. Whether it had been for tender or not would be irrelevant in that case, and honestly I think they meant to do it that way *until* the incident where it was on the post too early and the cat was out of the bag.
I haven’t been able to do the snail race that people were able to do before tank 7. Also I’ve been having dungeon audio issues :( just on the dialog I hear everything else expect the bosses talking.

If it ends up as the bonus reward in the Traveler's Log, then you don't spend tenders on it.
If you buy it now with real life currency, then you don't spend tenders on it when it comes to the Trading Post.
I see no difference, as in both cases you still have the tenders to spend on something else.
I feel like they added the items to the cash shop only because they accidentally released them early on the trading post.

There were already cash items in the shop so it kind of doesn't matter now, there are already people with more tendies than others because they own all the shop stuff.

Tali, i have to wholly disagree with you about the Medivh mog debacle. them putting it in the Store first with the option to put it in the Trading Post later is a way to appease both sides. the Whales and the REAL players, if you're buying the mog from the store you're not going to even care about the tenders and it can easily be considered vice versa, i dont care if it would save me tenders later because there is no fomo, i'll always have a chance to grab everything from the Trading Post eventually, caring about saving tenders is honestly just a very silly reason to complain tbh.
What caught me by surprise was the inability to convert regular gear to season 1 tier last week, prior to season 2 starting this week. I discovered that crafted pants were the appropriate season 2 choice so had those created and then realized I couldn't convert shoulders to tier 1 to keep the 4-piece set bonus, rendering the pants unusable until I get 4-piece tier 2. Whoops.

The guardian set description has been changed. It now says it's going away indefinitely on may 31st. based on that, I think it may be up on the store as an apology?
I can absolutely see why the SHadowflame effect goes away when you enter combat. Or rather, I can see it vanish when you enter a dungeon or Raid.
If many of the mechanics in the raid are Shadowflame-themed then having people with a toy effect would make it a bt iffy.
Similar to how they say they dont want too many glyphs to alter spell effects because that will screw with PvPers.
Similar to how the Warlock Green Fire effect was very annoying during Tomb of Sargeras..
