You know what I love about you Deanna, is that you make things simple and to the point. You also remind us that we don’t have to be perfect so for that I say “Thank You “
I make these too, they are fun! 😊 I install a large grommet on one side of the bag and that makes it perfect for holding a roll of pet poop bags. Along with the lobster clasp, they can then clip onto a dog leash.
Found your videos !!!!!! Your 1st video was a bookmarker !!!! Plan on making some !!!! Now this video on your mini box zipper pouch’s love love them !!! I love the kind of projects that start with bust out your scraps !!!!! Love your way of teaching nice and oh soooo slow !!! Your just my cup of tea not to hot and not to cold !!! Thank for explaining everything as you went along !!! Really put me to ease !!! Thank you for not singing and playing music during your video !!! Thank you for sharing and caring 👍🏿👏🏿🙌🏼👊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤎💕💝🥰🍭😇😍😎🎈⭕️❌
Thank you for doing this video! I’ve been searching for two days for the instructions to make makeup bags. I’ve found plenty of videos but most of the ones with voices (not just music) don’t give measurements. They want you to purchase the pattern. The videos with music only frustrate me so I just skip them. I’m happy I found you! I know your cute little bags aren’t big enough to be makeup bags but I can use your pattern as a guide to make a bigger one! Oh, and those clasps are called lobster claws. lol..
My grandkids are always looking for new storage bags for treasures. These will be perfect. And I can make them in fabric to match the pillowcases and drawstring totes they already have. Nice project and good clear instructions. thanks.
@CraftyCraftsByDeanna I am happy I was able to sneak in the time to watch. School has been very intense. As always your channel brings me so much joy. Thank you friend 🤗
I made one yesterday and it was the first time EVER doing a zipper. I have considered myself a beginner sewer for about 20 years as I am really not that good at it. My zipper tab with the D ring was totally off center-but I am very proud of my first one and can see where the improvements need to be made. THANK YOU
The wooden block is called a tailor’s clapper. It’s used to set seams by after pressing a seam you place the clapper over the seam and absorbing steam locking in heat. As you press down on wood on a seam it lays flat as the fabric cools for pretty flat seams in quilt blocks.
Omgoodness this is too cute and is exactly what I was looking for to try and make so thank you so much .. I love all the step by steps you show . Have a blessed day
Thank you ❤ Deanna for teaching us all how to make sew 🧵 many cute things. I love these adorable pouches. I was looking for something new to include in my craft fair.. 🎉😍. Super adorable can’t wait to make one.. Thank you Deanna ✨
I love this little zipper pouches. I made a bunch of the straight regular pouches for donation for the Bundles of Love craft fair. I will be making these instead. Thanks for sharing.
I loved it. It was very helpful and fun. I love your videos. I always watch them all the way thru. Your teaching made me feel like I can make one too. 😊❤
OMGosh! I LUV these they are ADORABLE! ❤ I am going to make some and pair them with a matching tissue holder and give them to my co-workers for Christmas....thank you for sharing your creative mind, Deanna...🤣🥰🤗💝
These are adorable and you named them after me boxy pouch. lol I will have to save and make this later, would now but we can’t find the sewing machines because of the remodeling going on, yep craft room has become the temporary storage yep it’s been a mess, 1/4 of the way there. Yes a dirty dusty mess and I’m so glad I made machine covers for my serger and my sewing machine, because yuk. I really like these cute little pouches. Tfs ❤😊
I stumbled upon your videos and have found them so helpful! I'm market prepping for my first craft show next Sunday and still looking for a few quick sew ideas. This is perfect, so adorable and a quick make. I was also thinking $8-$10. Thank you so much for your hard work and sharing this tutorial with us! :)
They are so, so cute, Deanna! And they would be awesome to carry at craft fairs or just anywhere that you don't want to carry a purse to. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial! I always enjoy watching any of your sewing videos. Your explanation is sew perfect! 😊 Crafty Hugs 💕 Suzy
It's a clapper. It will absorb the heat from the fabric and make it flatter by allowing it to sit a minute on the fabric. :)I love watching your ideas. I have done shows for 40 plus years, Keep up the good work.
I made these last year for my shows, but out of vinyl and I did not line them. They sold really well for $8. But you are putting in more time than I did on mine, so I’d sell your version for $10.
You know what I love about you Deanna, is that you make things simple and to the point. You also remind us that we don’t have to be perfect so for that I say “Thank You “
No one is perfect except Jesus Christ!
I make these too, they are fun! 😊 I install a large grommet on one side of the bag and that makes it perfect for holding a roll of pet poop bags. Along with the lobster clasp, they can then clip onto a dog leash.
