So, I guess in the Trinity view, God gave Himself, but He only gave His son in your view?
This means that God actually sacrifices himself in the Christian Trinity view, whereas he sacrificed somebody else in your neo-Arian view.
The Father gave the Son, while at the same time God gave Himself.

God gave of and sent his only begotten Son into the world. To give of your son is the greatest act of love.

@@ThePristineFaith Yes, the Scripture says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.
      That's not in dispute.
I was just trying to point out that a true Son of God actually has God's very nature, and is an eternal being, not a human concept of a son, created in space and time.
But it's so strange how you don't seem to think that the Son, who proceeds from the Father even in the Trinity doctrine, is somehow less of a gift in the Trinitarian system, or less of a "true son".
It's such a bizarre thing, this "true son" concept, which seems to be just a reading back onto God the human concepts of sonship.
Chris is so zealous for his understanding of "true son" but it's just such a lower view of God and not a higher one, as he presumes.

AND, it must be added that it's only an act of highest love if the person that is given agrees with the giving!
Guys, I just cannot see how God giving your understanding of what a Son is, is somehow more valuable than the giving of the Son in the Trinitarian view.
