Talking about alphabetizing your games at the end of the video made me realize, I don’t think we’ve seen a game collection tour video from you! I would be interested at least. Collect anything else too? I know you’ve mentioned comics in the past. I still have all my old Sonic the Hedgehog comics from when I was a kid.
It's funny you mention that, because I'm actually downsizing. It's a slow process, but I'm getting rid of basically anything non Xbox or Sega. Might get rid of some of the Xbox stuff too at some point, but got to move all the Playstation stuff first. I've just gotten to the point that, while I like having all this stuff, there's certain things that more important, and I'd rather have people that really want these things have them, rather than them collect dust around here. The comics will probably go at some point, at least a large percentage of them, but that's a problem for another decade.
Thank you for the detailed look at this game, not many people feature the NON TOP TIER sega games and I like finding overlooked games and trying them out.
That's the EXACT point of the channel, glad you like it! Granted, I'll cover the popular stuff too, but I want to make sure everything gets the same level of effort.
It’s worth pointing out I’m 99% certain no one from dsi had anything to do with this version. Between test drive 2 and 3 they ported out run to pc and accolade sued them over code reuse. Accolade lost the case but dsi never worked with them again. Even the pc test drive 3 of 1990 was not a dsi game. By this point dsi were working on stunts aka 4d sports driving for mindscape.
I read about the Outrun lawsuit, and that did seem...bad. However, if you look at the credits, the Genesis version is still fully credited to DSI, and Pam Levins, who was credited with Testing on the Amiga version, is listed as a Producer for the Genesis version. Also, Brad Gour, who was heavily involved in the Atari ST version, has programming and production credits on the Genesis as well. So it seems like at least some DSI staff was involved, unless Accolade was crediting them in name only based on previous efforts that were used in the creation of the Genesis version, which I suppose I could see.
I would probably place it with the T's. This way it's easier for me to see what games I have from a series and what games I'm missing. When I order alphabetically, I also ignore the "The" in the beginning of the names.
I can't decide whether those vans are Astros or Aerostars? The cop cars look like Robocop Tauruses to me. The backs of those Thunderbirds look very Fox Mustang. So maybe a Thunderstang Mashup. Definitely BMW sedans. Those were dark days of automotive video games. Then Ridge Racer came out in the arcade, 3 pedals, 6 speeds. Went from this crap to wow in an instant.
Ridge Racer was the first game I ever rented for the Playstation. After spending a lot of time with Virtua Racing, it was crazy to play an arcade perfect racing game at home.
@@ZilogandMoto I know what you mean by arcade perfect. However, without the steering wheel, pedals and shifter it just wasn't the same. I do play the PSP version with an 8Bitdo controller.
This is way better on the Amiga, especially thanks to the Expansion discs (Muscle Cars, Super Cars, European and California Challenge) but also the better hardware. Even the PC version is better. DSI, alongside Geoff Crammond, were the kings of racing games in the 80s and 90's. On a side note: I never don't get a laugh out of the way americans pronounce Porsche, it sounds just so hilariously wrong with the E ignored as if its some french name. It's german, so the E needs to be mentioned. PORSCHE! It's nor a front porch after all 😉
That's apparently one of MetalJesusRocks big complaints as well. He posted about people not pronouncing Porsche correctly twice in the last two weeks or so. I dunno, I think I've just heard it the wrong way by so many people for so many years, it's just stuck like that now.

@@ZilogandMoto that's good man, there's definitely a difference between a carefully curated game collection we love vs too much stuff!

Picnic? Boo-boo? Hey hey hey!
There ya go... ;)
@@ZilogandMoto very iffy platformer... I did complete it...with breaks.
Looks pretty fun!
Porsche is pronounced with the e at the end by the way.
Tomayto, tomahto.
I had such a home computer... It had CGA giving me 4 colors, and a PC speaker as you describe

Good point.
Zilog and Moto wonderfully outstandingly magnificent splendidly remarkably glorious
