    I’m currently making my first batch from dried water kefir grains
    Has anyone started with dried grains before? How long will it take /how many batches before I can start drinking it? To wake them up

    Soon, there is going to be the rapture. It's when there will be trumpet sounds, and after the trumpet sounds, God will lift his people from here. Also, God said people should be living by the Bible. Amen, and God bless you.
    ❤Jesus loves you guys. He can come back any second. Dont wait, please. Turn away from your sins and come to him❤ He will welcome you with arms wide open. Have a great day! ❤

    Sucks how it looks all amazingly carbonated but after you finally get it open and pour it... virtually flat. It's flat guys. Barely a hint of carbonation by the time it's in the glass. It's nothing like a soda. :(

      You need to add more grains and give them more sugars and then time it right. I know EXACTLY what you are talking about and that is a result of not enough CO2 production (not enough sugars and/or biology present) when you go to 2nd stage (bottling).

      @@ThePermacultureStudent I realize now that what happened was letting it go too long and not burping during the second ferment. It was so carbonated that I'm surprised it didn't break the bottle. I had to release, then cap, release, then cap for several cycles until I was able to open the vessel without it foaming over. By the time I was done doing that, it was virtually flat. But, I found that if I add a lot less sugar during the second ferment and burp it and leave enough gap between the lid and the liquid I can remove the cap and there is a sweet spot for the fermentation where a lot more carbonation stays without it erupting out of the vessel. I'm getting closer to getting it figured out. Thanks for the reply.

      @@growcactus after the fermentation can you keep the water kefir for a week in fridge to drink it like cola between meals and the soda still strong? or it become flat?

      @@ThePermacultureStudent If i meassure the sugar content (3% brix), i use 40 grams of sugar per litre. But in 48 hours it eats only arround 5-10 grams of sugar. Why is so much sugar needed if it does not eat more?

      @@hans3216 Yes, best before two weeks usually recommend to drink. Mine become stronger flavour over the counter, then refrigerate and keeps the fizzy and flavour.

      I’m no expert but as far as I’m aware moderate amounts can help leaky gut but too much can make it worse

      I am also looking for the same reason. I know l-glutamine is the best thing for leaky gut but doing bone broth daily is quite expensive in my country. I also tried l-glutamine powder supplement directly and it made my panic disorder worse. So now I am out of options. They say cabbage as a vegetable has a good amount of l-glutamine. Going to try that.

      @@Yash-Gaikwad I stopped trying store-bought canned bottled boxes jarred type of supplement. The best is either get the best ingredient to make it yourself or eat from your garden. As organic as you can grow. Buying organic food is not the best option either. Some organic method are not the same as permaculture or sustainable at all.

      Most of the sugar has been fermented off. The health benefits are in the probiotics fermented foods and drinks contain.

    • @kendakf5752
      @kendakf5752 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Actually the drink as a result isn’t sugary at all, only full of probiotics. Around the 80 to 90 % of sugars are consumed by the lived organisms of kefir.
