This video resonates with me because I've been starting down the path of self-actualisation, self-development and - most of all - self repair, mainly thanks to finding Elliott Hulse and his videos that spoke to sentiments and sensations in my heart. The only thing in my way I feel is my gut - the actual overcoming of the apprehension inside to enact my will and pursue my desires.
I'm seeking a better job than i have now, I'm looking to bring together 10 years worth of writing expertise into a portfolio and - most of all - looking to become more truthful to my inner self so I can meet people without anxiety.
Hopefully with more action as well as learning I can develop beyond words.

I absolutely loved this video. This is very likely the absolute best explanation of how to optimise the body-mind, that I have ever learnt in my entire life. This video should be mandatory and essential education for all people in the world today, especially any people in positions of authority, power or leadership, such as health professionals and politicians. I am looking forward to more videos exactly like this one from Paul Chek .

I have just recently discovered your channel through the brilliant videos produced by Elliot Hulse and yourself. I'm glad that I found them. Your teachings are a powerful awakener in a world of non-stop over-stimulation and chaos. Physical exercise and movement is what really helps me breathe deeply and calm my mind. When I deadlift or squat or do pull-ups, all of my worries and negative thoughts just leave me. That, along with introspection, allow me to examine my thoughts, instincts and feelings. Introspection is a powerful and underestimated practice. Peace and blessings.

Hi Paul! Thank you for making these great videos. I bought your book "how to eat move and be healthy". It's full of mind-blowing informations, I think I can really improve myself with it, that's really positive and I'm gratefull for it.
Since yesterday I'm a fresh graduate physiotherapist. I was conviced that I had a bit of knowledge about health. Now that I've read your book and heard you speak about the way you work with your client, I know now that what I thought to be "health", was just the tip of the iceberg.
So thank you also for disturbing my belief!

Paul im 21 years old. I live in a crazy negative family. I stopped studying in university because of adrenal fatigue. I, after analyzing myself; want to live alone. I need my space and calmness. But im afraid I wont succeed. I dont even know how to earn money besides getting a job. Ahhhhh I read The Hero With A Thousand Faces like you suggested haha maybe this is my "call to adventure" but im so afraid...

    Hi Paul,
I want to thank you again for your videos (I think I have before already).
Last year I went from being a usually calm and cheerful person to being in a constant fight-or-flight (but mostly freeze) state for at least 7 months or so, thinking I was dying all the time after having a panic attack resulting from thinking I was going to choke to death.
Through your videos, the videos of others, my own practice, and much reading, I've now reached a point in time where I can say my quality of life and sense of self/self-esteem and direction in my life is often better than it had ever been before my period of high anxiety. I meditate as a strict practice most days and thoroughly enjoy doing so. I've experienced some amazingly clear and enlightening states of mind and I feel more powerful, insightful, intelligent, creative, cheerful and child-like than I have ever felt before. I finally feel that I have energy coming back that is consistent and full of excitement and fervency.
I do, however, have one question that I'd appreciate if you could answer. Sometimes I get out of sync with myself, and get this disconnection syndrome going on. I can feel a little derealised to some extent, my heartbeart feels slightly strange, as if I can feel my heart in the wrong place in my body, my mind is a little racy but most noticeably of all I simply am at a loss as to what it is I'm looking for/what I really want/what I really think. This will generally happen after a little too much stress/fixation on a negative thought and invariably goes away in a day or so. I was wondering though if you had any tips for getting myself back into a state of balance, harmony, and happiness, where I feel whole and in sync. The general thoughts that surround this state of being are "I wish I knew what I really think" and "I just want to feel like myself". There is a general sense of disease and feeling stuck - I suppose you could call it anxiety!
The main problem is that I feel like I have little to no intuition in these states, so I would be very grateful for any advice!
    Much love,
    DAniel.

      Daniel Ledda
      Hi Daniel,
Great to hear of your healing and progress with self-integration.
My first comment in response to your questions is a reminder: Great Spirit always allows us to "experience what we are creating moment to moment in our lives, and being aware of that, and doing the work to explore your conscious and unconscious thoughts and beliefs and practices is the only true path to spiritual growth...which leads to Enlightened living.
Derealization events are moments when we are having a hard time accepting one or more aspects of ourself, and therefore, become "split". There are many causes of the kinds of symptoms you list, but at the basic level, I'd recommend you look into clearing yourself of any fungal or parasite infections; such infections cause biochemical imbalances that lead to feeling like there is darkness living within, and cognitive disorders and depressive events are common. My DVD series titled "Healing Fungal and Parasite Infections" is a very complete course that teaches you MUCH about all aspects of life and how they contribute to fungal/parasite infection.
Be very careful with stimulants, processed anything, and keeping well hydrated with water of the quality I recommend in my book (sited below HTEM&BH!).
With the above, a very diligent application of all the teachings in my books The Last 4 Doctors You'll Ever Need" (ebook) and "How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!" is essential to balancing biochemistry and learning how to direct your creative energies fully into "what you want in life".
When you have challenging thoughts, or negative symptoms, "Thank the PainTeacher for showing you where you are creating other than your ideal, affirm your dream, and restate the negative thought such that it is dream affirmative. Use the breathing methods I shared in this blog lesson at the end every hour on the hour for 12 breaths until you train your self to breathe optimally and control your mind naturally. The growth and development you will gain from the process you are in, will result in you "waking up" one day to realize, "Oh My God...all the blessings and beauty that I learned to create under the influence of the PainTeacher is so amazing. You will then have learned to see the Magic of Unconditional Love manifesting in your life - always giving you exactly what you wanted (be it unconscious or conscious wants/desires manifesting).
If you don't currently use a Grounding Mat for your bed and pillow, I'd recommend that you do. Not being grounded in a world of EMF pollution can cause a lot of strange and unpleasant things to happen within us. Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep, for even minor sleep deprivation can lead to symptoms and symptom magnification. You may find seeing an Acupuncturist to get a good body/hormonal system balance or a series of treatments very helpful. Find someone with a lot of experience, and preferably, an OMD (Oriental Medical Doctor) that has expertise in the use of herbs and acupuncture. Using the zone exercises you need based on your individual assessment in my book HTEM&BH! will be very supportive in general, but also at the time you are having symptoms if you do them right then.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

Thank you so much for posting this video with so much in depth information. I've been so stressed lately because I've been feeding into negative thoughts. And it's just like you said, I keep talking about them multiple times of day(call me mr yang). It is exhausting. I know I need to get back to meditating. But on top of that I really like the idea of stating my dream aloud. This technique will help! By the way i bought your book "How to move, eat, and be healthy" about a year ago. It's excellent. I should probably revisit it.

Paul, what's your opinion on the origin of human creation?
I was deeply inspired by the work of Michael Tsarion and others.

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  9 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Robert Daudish
First of all, there are almost as many theories on the origin of human beings as there are human beings.
My approach is based on a lifetime of study, meditative investigation and sound logic.
Quite simply, I agree with Alan Watts (which I highly recommend for you. Go to www.soundstrue.com and you can find a comprehensive set of his teachings (13 CD's if I remember correctly) and learn a LOT. He was the first white man ordained as a Zen Monk, has a degree in theology, was raised a Catholic, and his teachings are beautiful, simple, and resonate with the soul of anyone who's open to truth), who states, "THE UNIVERSE IS A PEOPLEING UNIVERSE". He isn't using the term "peopling" to mean that the universe only creates human beings, but that ALL SENTIENT BEINGS on earth are part of a process that, thus far, has reached the zenith of conscious awareness in the human form (our brain and nervous system are unique among all living beings on earth in that it can handle abstract concepts, exercise profound intuitive insight, and has a capacity for perception of a VERY wide range of vibration; not through the five senses alone, but through a combination of our sensory receptivity, intuitive insight, per-cognition and other related faculties.
Man, in my opinion is a Universal expression of consciousness, and is part of a Grand process; that said, we are no more valuable or "important" than any other sentient being, from single celled amoebas right on up to man, for they are all essential modes of being, and perceiving. You can say that the Universe wants to know and experience itself in every possible way it can and we are part of that process.
That's my short answer to your question.
For a much more comprehensive answer, I highly recommend the book/audios titled,
      @0452297974Jul 31, 2012
      by David Wilcock
This document is loaded with comprehensive scientific investigations that are commonly suppressed by the various mainstream scientific bodies because it demonstrates clearly that we are operating on very false concepts and if too much of this information gets out, they will have to rewrite every university text and every school text on science and evolution there is.... Study it, and be your own judge!
If you have a mind for hard science, then you can also look at the books by Claude Swanson, the one I've studied most of is "Life Force". Get ready for a very powerful learning experience. Claude Swanson is a respected physicist, and isn't just some crack pot blabbling silly ideas to fit into a mainstream model based on limited and "partial truths".
You may also want to study the audio book, "Science Set Free" by Rupert Sheldrake, a celebrated biologist that blows the lid of the scientific establishment, exposing many of the little games they play so their research says exactly "what they want to hear/see, and what they want YOU to think!" Very powerful program.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

Very helpful and relevant video for me at this point in my life. One question for you, though, Paul: would you recommend meditating in silence, or is it acceptable to meditate with background commentary or music? I ask this because I was practicing breathing along to your instructions in this video, and I found that I was able to focus (or let go of my thoughts) better than when I have attempted to meditate in silence.

Thank you Paul for the great video. I have a question about the microcosmic orbit which I was suprised to find at the end. Do you have anything to say or have you ever talked about the kundalini in any of your videos before? About a year ago I started exploring a lot of these internal practices, like the orbit you mention in the video. Have you ever seen people with... let's say problematic energetic changes in the mind and body after practicing the orbit? Perhaps you would have something helpful to say?

Hey Paul thank you for your time! I've been sick for 3 weeks now and it has led me down a depressive and anxiety filled existence. This is terrifying for me bc I never get sick and I never get depressed or anxious so to be like this for 3 weeks now I'm terrified. I just came across this info tonight and I will implement it however do u have any other advice for me specifically? I feel like its soo damn hard to meditate anymore bc I am constantly suffering from headaches for 3 weeks and I never get headaches. I thought it was just a sinus cold and then thought maybe it's just seasonal allergies but I've had allergies before and they never involved consrant headaches. I feel like its driving me crazy (I'm usually always a very balanced and positive person) I'm terrified that being sick for 3 weeks is going to damage my mental health) please any response is gratefully appreciated!

    Hi Paul,
I get the idea that the gut has input into the total body system, but when you talk about the "feeling" center being in the heart, are you actually talking about the organ? I tend to think that it is still contained somewhere in the brain.
    Thnaks.

    Hello Paul :)
I seen a comment where someone asked about the origins of Man. This got me to wonder what your idea on the afterlife is and how mental/spiritual state effect the experience. I have my own ideas but I'm very interested on where you come from on this.
I also recommend a book called "The Astral Plane" by C.W. Leadbeater. Short book on the multiple levels of experience in afterlife dictated by our frequency as a result of our mental/spiritual state.
    Thank you, with love.

      James Goldberg
      Hi James,
I teach all aspects of my philosophy of life, and the after-life in my HLC 2 and HLC 3, as well as Chek Practitioner Level 4 Advanced training programs because one's beliefs about what happens at and after death (of the body) both says everything about their actual beliefs about God, and significantly influences how they live and practice as a healing arts professional.
Though I have spent my life researching energy medicine, healing, physics and quantum physics, religion, mysticism, philosophy, native belief systems, shamanism, and am a licensed, practicing shaman. My work as a holistic health practitioner is such that doing the job well requires a broad base of general knowledge so that connections to the life process can be made, and contextual overlap can be explored. The human being and all sentient beings are expressions of the entire Kosmos (Greek for physiosphere, biosphere, and nooesphere (MIND). I feel that to understand the afterlife, one must look carefully at how such polarities express themselves at each progressive meta-level of existence; for example, is the belief that death is "the end - screen to black" supported by over-arching processes for which sentient life itself is dependent upon, and therefore unlikely to manifest under different laws or constraints? I don't think so.
My beliefs about the afterlife are more a product of what I've experienced than what I've read; by the way, I have probably got every book printed by C.W. Leadbeater so I'm quite familiar with his viewpoints. What I've experienced through meditation, tai-chi, Qi-gong, and shamanic journeys with and without Sacred Medicines, and my own work with distance healing, remote viewing, and being able to contact people in the afterlife (which occurs as part of my work with people suffering from unresolved grief) is quite beautifully paralleled by what Amit Goswami shares in his book, "Physics Of The Soul".
In a nutshell, I believe that the only word that reflects an ABSOLUTE GOD is CONSCIOUSNESS, from which the two qualities of the ABSOLUTE MERGE PERPETUALLY to create AUM_, of which all existence and life "the physicalization of ETERNITY". Therefore, all sentient beings are eternity experiencing itself in and as time and place. Death to me is a transition form a time-space (place) relationship that is quite heavily bound to matter, to one that is much less entangled. I experience in myself and my work that whatever one has programmed into their mind becomes the conditioning that the soul (CONSCIOUSNESS within boundaries created by relativity) experiences in the afterlife. That said, the afterlife process itself occurs within the constraints of the energetic relationships that contain it; for example, anything electromagnetic conforms to the laws of electromagnetism; anything non-local is constrained by the laws or principles governing energy and information in that domain. I feel that with enough time and awareness, a human being can reach the point at which they are capable of stilling the flow of the two currents of tai-chi within their own (soul-ego-mind) and enter into Nirvana (to extinguish, or "blow out") and "the drop returns to the OCEAN OF THE ABSOLUTE.
I also feel that the emerging understanding of black holes is, and will continue to be helpful in understanding some of the meta-principles and functions that our existence is an expression of.
Ok, enough from me on this issue...my favorite issues....but it is time for me to paint!
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

    Hello Paul,
One of your greatest supporters Elliot Hulse speaks heavily on the topic of Bio-energetics. What is your perspective on this approach to being grounded and helping with social confidence. Aside from the deep breathing, is Bio-energetics something you use in your daily routine/warmup?

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Peter Bongiovanni
Bio-energetics has many applications, and there "principles" that are not unique to just that approach which I use.
I think any form, or "gestalt" that one feels inspired to participate with themselves in learning who they are and how to master their body-mind is useful.
I don't use methods out of any bio-energetics book in my own practice, but as I mentioned, I use principles that are common denominators to all effective life and life force cultivation practices. My main practices are tai-chi, meditation, art therapy, chanting and toning, strength training, good food, great sex, and paying attention to what I'm creating with my thoughts and choices as part of an overarching desire to share my life experience and knowledge with the world through the Chek Institute.
I'm glad you found Elliott. He's a lovely, caring, spiritually motivated man.

Just any tip that might help me get them flexible? i do wear all your principles i followed ur book and having a good diet which my own soul guides me everyday. thank you Mr chek!

      HI,
FYI, all the critical assessments you need to know and understand for squatting are clearly outlined in my DVD correspondence course titled "Scientific Back Training". Technical training for most common gym exercises and many more are shared in my DVD program titled "The Gym Instructors Series".
What you are describing commonly comes from:
      A. People that have poor core control can't stabilize their lower extremities against excessive pronation, so as they squat, their knees turn inward and the arches of their feet flatten excessively, which causes obstruction to normal joint mechanics because the ankle and foot joints become blocked.
      B. Faulty core control results in hyper-activation of the extensor chain, which includes the calves. If the soleus gets too tight, it limits ankle dorsiflexion and causes the problem you are speaking of.
      C. If the person's feet are too flat to begin with, they are likely to have this problem even if their core is working. If you get a decent pair of arch supports and try squatting with them under your feet, you may find that it helps normalize they body for squatting better. If this occurs, the best thing you can do is wear Vibrum 5 fingers regularly enough to build up the intrinsic muscle strength in the feet and lower leg and over time, the arch returns; going barefoot often is also a big help. Specific foot conditioning exercises can also be used in cases where they are needed.
      D. If the talus or subtaylor joint is blocked, ankle dorsiflexion is blocked and the shin angle can''t increase adequately to balance motion in the kinetic chain, so excessive flexion of the low back is a common occurrence.

If you are talking about the Aires card I showed on my blog site, it has a functional protective radius of six feet, so the person using it, and anyone close to them would be protected.
FYI, the Aires card technology is very powerful. It has two functions: A. Defender side up has a calming effect on the body, and Infinity side up stimulates alertness. Myself and several of my friends and students have found the card so powerful when on your body that it feels better off the body on a desk or nearby. I use mine on airplanes and find it very helpful. My Aires card is sitting right in front of me now. If I'm feeling wound up at all, I put the Defender side up. If I'm feeling tired or in need of mental clarity, I put the Infinity side up and both applications are very helpful when used appropriately. Their phone protector is by far the best I've seen and tested yet as well. I highly recommend it.

people with artificial hearts still love and have a good quality of life, and I'm sure they still feel intuition, so where does this leave the heart 'chakra' ? So the chakras must align directly through the central nervous system, but then...What about people who have had nervous systems damaged, for example having a stroke ? Are these people spiritually impaired, unable to connect to the lower chakras and be 'grounded' ? More-so than not, the disabled people are the most uplifting and positive and extremely grounded..

HI Paul, i don't know if you are the right guy for this question. It is about my cat.. He looks very healthy with deep coloured fur with lots of different patterns of colors. My worry is that he doesnt seem to have much appetite for fat. He is of a small race. I thought to myself okay he is small and so he is most likely adapted for hunting small animals like mice and snakes etc. Id like to think that i can trust him to know what to eat. I give him organic bone marrow, butter so its high quality. My question is really does small animals eat alot less fat because of availability and do they then have the capacity to convert protein into fat? I just wanted to be sure because when he was young sometimes he had loose stools but then neither him or i ate fat. I get annoyed when i have pets and feed them dry processed ultimate crap but then again they don't eat better themselves so i guess its not their fault. I want to take good care of my friend because i took him under my wing.

Hi, each animal has a diet profile uniquely suited to their needs. Each animal typically emerges in an environment where what they need is present; wolves and sheep support each other....coyotes and rabbits support each other....
Any animal can convert extra calories taken in into fat, but that's not the real concern. Feeding your cat:
      A. Raw organ meets at least 1-3 times weekly either as a meal, or portioned into other meals is essential for the animals health.
      B. Raw meats (with fat) in general, giving the cat enough variety so you can learn what the cat likes and doesn't like and create a rotation diet will be magical.

      Hi Eric,
FYI, I have a comprehensive course you can do on-line through PPS Success Mastery training (www.ppssuccess.com) titled PPS Lesson 3: Goal Setting that gives you a combination of the best wisdom from other experts on goal setting, plus my own advancements in key areas, such as "process goals". I think you and anyone wanting to master the process of functional goal setting would be well served to study.
I set my goals yearly, right around the New Year and set my goals for the year. I also do a key objective projection of goals where relevant for three and five years, but the body of the goal setting work is based on annual objectives. When I'm juggling a number of projects at once, I use the form I offer in my goal setting course for daily, weekly, and monthly goal setting, and those goals are usually highly specific so that I can manage my energy more effectively.

Personally, I feel it is the quality of the food (how it was farmed) and how it is stored before being cooked that is most essential.
You don't have to kill good food to eat it safely, but you do need to kill bad food to eat it, and though you may kill the bacteria with cooking, there are many other detrimental factors involved in cooking commercial foods that are not commonly talked about, for example, research shows that whenever we cook foods with multiple chemicals from farming or other sources in it, they "recombine" to produce new chemicals never before seen in nature...imagine the stress this would put on the liver and body in general...
You will find that if you read enough on any topic, EVERYTHING IS DANGEROUS, so at the end of the day, eating quality food and living 4 Doctors is more important than all the intellectual bantering that goes on in the world....

Hi Paul, when I try and do closed-eye meditation, I find it hard to switch off my visual sense. What do you suggest I try and "look at" when my eyes are closed? Hi,
Paramahansa Yogananda's monks taught me to direct the eyes toward the point between the eye brows (6th chakra) when meditating because that eye position activates (or opens) pathways in the brain that facilitate opening of the higher brain centers (most likely the prefrontal cortex). If you look at pictures of various mystics and monks in meditation, you can often see that you only see the whites of the eyes, or you can see that they are indeed doing this.
There is a bit of a learning curve because as a beginner with this method, the tendency is to try too hard and the eye muscles can get tired. Try putting your index finger on the spot slightly above and directly between your eye brows, and then direct your eyes such that you'd be looking at that finger tip. That is the ideal position for meditation.
When meditating, there can be a carryover of visual stimuli in the rods and cones of the eye, as well as the optic nerve and visual centers of the brain; you will have experienced this if you've ever had a camera flash when your eyes were open, and then closed them to see that "the flash is still present as light within your visual field, even though your eyes are closed".
Just allow the nervous system to settle. It can take a good 20 minutes or more for the ego-mind to calm and stop running around like a dog chasing car tires....and then the door to deeper meditative states opens. The key thing is to "not try and do anything or control anything, for that just enhances the ego-functions and slows the whole process." Just witness the show as a relaxed person on the couch watching a TV show would; you know you are not the TV or what's appearing on it, so take the same "witnessing position" in meditation. If your mind wonders, focus on your breath, as I shared in the end of this video.
If you find yourself too wound up and can't get the mind to calm, do some physical exercise to burn off the excess energy and then try again.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

      fr33tim3
Yes, dandruff is a "fungal infection" and suggests that your diet and lifestyle are out of balance and your immune system is compromised.
There are many factors that one must understand in order to heal a fungal infection, which is why I created a DVD program specifically on how to address fungal and parasite infections; once you have any form of fungal infection, you are MUCH MORE SUSCEPTIBLE to parasite infections!
I highly recommend you study my DVD program titled, "Healing Fungal and Parasite Infections - The Absolute Essentials". The course is very complete and comprehensive, yet I designed it so that even an interested 12 year-old could understand it.

      @ReneeK777 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@abundancejourney8316 thank you for your response. My opinion is not relevant, what is relevant is that something is truth or a lie. For most of my life a kept myself busy with these kind of self help techniques with a spiritual layer on it. At the end it doesn't work, because solutions are not found in self. Just as psychological methods or medicines for mental health problems. As long if there is not a biological reason, it's spiritual. We are sinners in rebellion against our creator. We want to be God's our self, but we can't. We have the illusion that we can create our self and the world around us, but why do we keep messing up. Hurting others and telling our self we have good intentions. The result of destruction is the same, full of tricks to keep up the lie we are at peace. Because of our sins we have no rest in the soul, we are a enemy of God. That's why he sendeth us His son Jesus Christ, to make the payment/sacrifice that we owe Him. We deserve death, but Jesus (sinless) died on the cross for us. So that we might be saved and give us life. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save and give us rest in the soul.
Bible vers: Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
      1 Peter 5:6‭-‬7 KJV
      Another bible verse: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
      2 Corinthians 5:17‭-‬18 KJV
And Jesus said also: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
      John 3:14‭-‬17 KJV
